I recently tried the Sons Thickening Hair Clay and I'm really impressed. It has a great cream-like consistency that’s easy to work into my hair without it feeling heavy or greasy. It definitely gives the appearance of much thicker hair instantly. Plus, it has a really nice, fresh scent that isn't overpowering. It’s become a staple in my morning routine while I wait for the long-term regrowth products to kick in.

I had a delivery issue with my order but I received it after it being reposted. Customer service could not have done any more to help. I've used Sons for a couple years without issue. My wife got pregnant and I paused my subscription. However, the issue is the auto order after your subscription runs out. There is no way to stop eventual auto ordering unless you cancel your subscription entirely.
My main issue is that the minute I received notification of the order, 3 days before shipment confirmation, I contacted Sons to explain the unintended order. I tried to ring no less than 15 times from the minute they opened for two consecutive days and received no pick up. Eventually the order was shipped and being pharmaceutical, it would be destroyed on receipt if I rejected the order. This is far short of the 24 hrs they say they should respond and I'm out of pocket by 186 pounds for an order I didn't want. I wish I had cancelled ages ago, but they entice you to speak to someone before you do. The spray lasts much longer than advertised, cancel your subscription and order when you need, ad-hoc. There is zero advantage to sticking with them as they try to get you back with more vouchers.
The product is fine, the customer service, diabolical. They have lost a customer that would purchased.for the next 40 years over this.
The response to the complaint was very unhelpful. We cannot refund orders regardless of time highlighted due to T&C. However, the business is designed so that the order goes through without any means to cancel or any grace period, even within minutes if unintended, and no human that could be reached for a week.

I will be careful of the Subscription function on the Account on Website so that I do my own ordering from this point onwards.
Otherwise, been a perfect service from Sons. 😊👍

I’ve been using hair treatments now for 12-18 months and the difference in my hair is confidence changing. I currently use minoxidil tablets from Sons along with Finasteride supplied my doctor and it’s worked wonders. I love Sons because delivery is always quick.. the free loyalty gifts are amazing and you can change your order date if you are on a repeat order to suit your financial needs. Seriously could not recommend Sons enough..
Thanks for helping me restore my confidence back and being a constant helpline any time it’s needed! 10/10

The topical Minoxidil seemed to work after the first three months, but now after just over a year of regular consistent use it seems to have gone back to what it was before starting to use it. Continuing to persist with it hoping that it might work.

Subscription turned up a bit early so I'd have no break in treatment which is ideal. They even threw in a couple of loyalty gifts too which is always welcome and has certainlymade me recommend to friends!

I had a very disappointing experience with Sons and would strongly advise others to be cautious.
I signed up for a subscription after being clearly shown a 40% discounted price during checkout. This reduced price is what prompted me to proceed with the purchase. However, once the payment was processed, I was charged the full amount (£106) instead.
When I contacted customer support, I received inconsistent and contradictory responses. Initially, I was told that discounts only apply to future orders, despite the website clearly displaying the reduced price before payment. I was also told that the order could not be cancelled due to the nature of the product.
However, during a phone call, a representative confirmed that the order *would* be cancelled and that I would receive confirmation shortly. Despite this, the order was still dispatched.
I would also like to highlight that during another one of my calls, I provided my order number, but the representative repeated back a completely different order and even addressed me by another customer’s name. This raised serious concerns about how customer data is being handled, as it suggests a lack of basic verification and potential exposure of other customers’ information.
After raising the issue further, I was offered a partial refund, and later told a full refund would be processed, but only if I closed my dispute with the bank first. This is highly concerning, as it is effectively asking me to give up my protection before any refund is actually issued.
Even after following their instructions, the refund was not processed as promised, leading to further delays and forcing me to continue the dispute through my bank.
Overall, this experience highlights serious issues with:
* Pricing transparency at checkout
* Internal communication and consistency
* Handling of cancellations
* Refund practices tied to dispute closure
This process was unnecessarily stressful and time-consuming, and I had to rely on my bank to resolve what should have been a straightforward issue.
I would strongly recommend that anyone considering using this service take screenshots at checkout and proceed with caution.
