Nice and friendly and explained what fish were best to put in our tank

Came across the shop on Facebook. Went to have a look, impressed with the variety of tropical fish/shrimps and everything you could think of for your tanks at reasonable prices. Worth the travel and will be returning. Spends time with you and gives advice when asked to try and help.

Customer service non existent on faulty goods
It was only few pounds and not worth their bother i suppose ...great pity... totally dismissed at first contact and no response to further emails..Disappointed to say the least.

The staff are really friendly and happy to help with any questions/queries. There is a good range of livestock and equipment at reasonable prices.

Sadly sent food products that were more than a year out of date which was disappointing but immediately processed my refund on being made aware of the issue.

We have used Snuffle & Swim on a number of occasions and the experience has always been brilliant. The staff are always friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. They have amazing fish and display tanks, great for some aqua scaping inspiration.

Having had tropical fish as a teenager (quite a few years ago) I recently decided to relive my youth and set up a new aquarium. Alex and the staff at Snuffle and Swim have been superb, guiding me through from the purchase of the tank, kit, substrates, plants and choosing the right fish for my set up. Can’t give them enough praise and thanks. I love to support local independent businesses and they have been first class.

We went to buy some fish for my partners new tank. She wasn't sure what she wanted, so the guy in the store went through all the different types of fish she could have together. No question was too stupid for him to answer with an honest answer.

Nice pet supplies and aquarium. Lots of tanks with a good variety of fish, several I haven't seen before. Owner is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful in discussing suitability of fish for my tank. Good to support a local business rather than a large pet chain. Hope they go from strength to strength. Tell all your friends to visit.

They have a wide range of products, food stuffs and treats and one of the best ranges of tropic fish in the North East. It is essential that the local population pay them a visit and make a purchase - shop local and support the independent market.

Easy to order online very good price for dog food and ready to collect and offered to take to the car. Very friendly and helpful staff.

All very helpful there fabulous range of everything needed for our aquarium and for other pets. But for me I love the fish room it's lovely, would give any beginner kits of ideas on setting up an aquarium, they've even got frogs which are beautiful. Just wish I'd bought one when I was there
