I bought an item, paid for it, and they shipped it in March. Two months later, in May, they charged me again for the same item. I have not had any purchases since that March purchase, so it is clear that the second charge was fraudulent. I reported it to my credit card company and they took back the money. Instead of Amazon admitting their error, they cut off my account until I pay the false charge.

I WILL NEVER BUY IN AMAZON.COM AGAIN
In September 2018, I bought a Cowon MP3 player at amazon.com (Order ID 111-1648818-9688242) from an external seller, JetAudio also named as COWON AMERICA, INC. and in turn a subsidiary of COWONGLOBAL.COM. The transaction was made in Spanish and the shipment was made to my home in Madrid, Spain. In June of this year, the touch screen of the device stopped working and being still under warranty period I contacted amazon who suggested I go to JetAudio, which I did and from that moment everything was trouble.
First they told me that, please, I addressed them in English, when until then and as I said, all my contacts with Amazon and with JetAudio were made in Spanish. Then they repeatedly asked me to provide them with the ID and ASIN numbers that they should already know with my single name. Finally and to complete this nonsense, they inform me that I must provide a US address to send the player once it has been repaired (¡¡).
I get back in touch with chat with amazon to inform them of the above and the person who attends me not only does not solve my problem but also by reiterating that in the end it is amazon who should be responsible for the bad practices of its external sellers, cut the chat abruptly leaving me with the word in my mouth.
Amazon's prestige is based on good customer service and the solution to its possible problems, which in my case is notoriously false.
To conclude, I bought a player of more than $ 400 and I am very afraid that I will have to carry a useless device or pay for its repair despite being still under warranty since neither JetAudio nor amazon.com want to take responsibility for this matter . I will never buy in Amazon again.

I had issues with my last order - which was due to the carrier not delivering the item - whilst this is out of Amazon's control, I was really happy with how quickly they responded to my email and sorted out the situation. I'd happily order again.

I ordered some sunglasses for my wife from Amazon.com in the US. They were a surprise, and when they arrived I told her to open then. Inside was an empty sunglasses case. The package arrived at our house unopened, but despite frequent attempts to get this resolved, Amazon are adamant it is not their issue. When you look (at the reviews, the overall score is quite good at 90%, but there are many examples orders being part-shipped or second hand items being sent instead of new. Do not order anything from Amazon.com!

My current device, an Amazon Fire 8 version 6, is completely buggy and I have never been able to get ahold of someone knowledgeable enough to diagnose/fix it.
This is my 2nd Kindle fire and my 3rd kindle. The previous two worked worry free for several years each so I had every confidence when I purchased my current device.
This Kindle has lost the bookmark when you purchase a book after sampling from day one. I spent a day last May on the phone with one earnest employee after another who all worked from scripts, had me do the same few troubleshooting steps with no result. Also, several people tried to explain the work around and tell me how easy it would be to find my place manually instead of automatically when I purchase a book I started by sampling. I just as earnestly tried to convey that it’s not an upgrade to constantly be adapting to your new machines’ glitches. I gave up and said goodbye to that feature in frustration.
Next it keeps going to the wrong time zone whenever there are system updates. Sayonara to timekeeping on the kindle. You have to pick your battles and I have a watch anyway.
I used to web browse and shop on my kindles but this one freezes at the drop of the hat. Well I can use my phone or computer for that and again - is it worth it to call when I really only use it to read?
Recently, the screen has started flickering erratically when I am reading. Having spent the last four hours unproductively trying to troubleshoot it I once again surrender. Amazon you have won - I am out of time to deal with this.
When this flickering gets too annoying I will be buying an IPad to go with my iPhone, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. All in an attempt to limit my interactions with your technical support staff and your hardware.
This is unfortunate, I have been a customer for over 18 years but I increasingly seek out other places to spend my money and I certainly have better ways to spend my time.

Finde es super, dass mindestens ein kleiner Teil gespendet wird und, dass man sogar auswählen kann an welche Organisation. Ich habe auch Amazon Prime, die Lieferung is dadurch natürlich super schnell, nur wenn man auf dem Land lebt hat man leider nicht den vollen Funktionsumfang. Dennoch praktisch, da ja auch noch Amazon Prime Video im Preis mit inbegriffen ist. Schade ist nur, dass Ikea Möbel so viel teurer sind und Amazon und Google sicher immer streiten und deshalb Google Produkte immer wieder verschwinden, bzw. von Drittanbietern viel zu teur angeboten werden.

I have a prime membership and I love it. There have of course been a few hiccups with some orders, usually with my husband's blu ray orders.
For some reason he's received French Canadian versions of 3 different blu rays that he's ordered when he did not select those versions. Amazon has always been very prompt and helpful with allowing us to return the items in exchange for the correct version.
My only huge complaint with amazon is that trying to find plus size clothing is a huge pain in the butt. Sizing is very inconsistent because of all the different over seas vendors.
One thing I have to give very high praise for is that if you order from smile.amazon.com you can select a charity where a portion of what you spend will be donated to that charity. That's a feature that all online vendors should have in my opinion!
