Poor company exchange policy and customer service…
I should have read the reviews b4 purchasing from Skinceutical.ca online store. Agree with previous reviews regarding poor online experience and customer service. I purchased a sunscreen, they had the word 'tinted' in super tiny font. When I contacted the company for exchange, customer service just told me to return the product at my cost. Then sent me a copy of the company policy. Great, how helpful! I have begun to use this line of products and purchased a few different products a few months ago; but I guess it's time to move to another company. Good luck being the prestigious company selling expensive products when you couldn't even be bothered with your customers' online experience! Remember there are many great competitors out there.
Worst customer service EVER
Worst customer service EVER! Their agents literally LIE to put off your request for product replacement. I talked to 2 different agents was told they'd take care of the situation & both times never heard back. What weasels. Sadly I'm in the market for new skincare after 12 years. I bought 2 bottles of CE Ferulic Acid in 8/23. When I went to use the 2nd bottle it had leaked through the dropper. I sent photos of the box, sealed bottle & damaged dropper. They told me it was ineligible because it was 10 days over the 1 year date of purchase. I honestly feel like I've been slimed over. What a disgusting company. So disappointed after 12+ years of using their stuff. YUCK!

Worst customer service ever! Placed an order for a cleanser for £45 also requested the two free samples. (As the website advertised) only received one sample and the one worth £22 was missing! Called customer services and was told nothing they can do! Told it was my error! Not the first time I have experienced issues with ordering from here! Time to find a new brand. Avoid
Shockingly bad customer service
I have used the CE Ferulic before and liked it, so decided to subscribe. A few weeks later my facialist recommended a I switch to Phloretin. I tried to alter my sub but couldn't, and after I emailed customer care they told me to cancel the sub and start a new one. Seems clunky but I went ahead. However, I couldn't cancel it - it just kept bouncing back to the account page. I emailed customer care, who did not respond; I emailed again, and they said I should try a different device. I did - didn't work. I then had an automated email from them saying there was a problem processing subs.
Over the next few weeks I tried a few times to cancel my subscription. I also called, and customer services said they'd look into it and get back to me. They didn't. I called again, and someone reviewed the notes and said they'd get in touch with the loyalty team who'd get back to me. They didn't. I called one last time, and got the same story - the person was very sympathetic but said there was nothing they could do. But no one called.
The website glitch now seems to be fixed and I have cancelled. I won't be subscribing or using them again and I wouldn't recommend them. For a high-end brand the customer service is dire.

I recently bought one jar of face cream, honestly, it burnt my face. and no way you can return it . $240, what a waste. Do not even mention their disgusting customer service. horrible experience and will never buy anything from this company. i will recommend nobody to buy form them and end up getting ripped off

Sadly their quality got really bad and the products are not the same as the used to be. But my problem was different, on 16th when promotion was going “ buy anything and you’ll get gift bag with products and ice roller”…. It’s a spam, because only when I contacted customer service, they told me we have to make purchase for min $200… when I asked why then at the checkout, when I placed the order I could see the gift and the products that I chose from it… CS told me, that after we pay the gift is taken automatically away if you don’t qualify… when I asked how clients can know that, he explained to me that somewhere in little letters you can find it… to me it’s very low tactic to make your clients buy more products, because I don’t believe that everyone is looking for something that they can see first of all and secondly if I’m paying money and I see my bag, i imagine that no one afterwards will take anything from it without me knowing. Very disappointed
Never received order... Terrible customer service. This business is a thief.
I placed an order totaling $420.01, and I never received it. The UPS tracking even shows that I never received the shipment. I called customer service and emailed multiple times and was told I needed to call UPS. UPS told me I needed to reach out to the sender. Now, it's been a month. I still don't have my shipment, and skinceuticals will not give me a refund. I have never in my life had this experience with a company. As someone who is willing to pay for skincare, I think skinceuticals should take better care of its customers. If a customer buys something, it is the senders responsibility to get it to you. And then if it doesn't make it to you, the sender should provide a refund.
Horrible customer service.
I ordered $72 sunscreen for my wife who has stage III melanoma. I was going to be out of town when it was due to arrive so I had it sent to the out of town address. When I got the tracking, it said it would arrive after I left that address. I asked SkinCeuticals to reroute it. They couldn't. They said that the arrival date was an estimate. The website clearly said that it would arrive at my destination while I was still there. Terrible customer service.

I've been using SkinCeuticals products…
I've been using SkinCeuticals products for a while and overall I'm quite satisfied. However, there are few areas where I feel they could improve. The quality of the products is good, but they can be quite EXPENSIVE. Also, the range of products could be more extensive to better meet individual needs. Nevertheless, I would still recommend SkinCeuticals to others.

Worst Customer Service Ever!
This company has no regard for their customers at all. You are simply another number to them. I spent over $500.00 on 3 products and gleefully anticipated receiving my free "tiny little sample" gift that they intice you with to purchase more. We all enjoy feeling appreciated with a little gift. To my disappointment it was not included. 3 e-mails and 3 phone calls later I'm simply left feeling that they don't give a crap. Their e-mail responses appear to be "coldly A.I. generated. Each of the 3 customer service reps I spoke with started off like they care. However, All with the same ending. Their policy is that I was not entitled to my free sample GIFT because the eye cream and face cream were a combined promotion. I argued that the serum I purchased was not part of any promo and why wouldn't I be entitled to my free sample for it? Had I ordered it separately, I would have been. A dead end with each rep. saying I simply was not getting it. Absolutely crazy.... a $1.00 little sample!! My goodness, they made me feel as though I was begging for it. This of course took me down the rabbit hole of research of Skin Ceuticals. I see that I'm not the only one unhappy with them and their products. I also learned their is another product LaCura sold at Aldi or online that is near identical. Great ingredients at 1/4 of the cost. SC is not a miracle product; they just want your hard-earned money. By the way, you will also notice that the tiny little jar of eye cream is filled all the way to the top. The larger jar of face cream is below by about 1/8". That's a good loss to consumer but profit to SC. They will not receive another dime from me. Principle still matters! If you got this far; thank you for reading and please do your research.

Awful customer service - they have stolen my money!
My order was not processed due to their internal error but they denied they debited my credit card - lies! This is theft/fraud on the part of skinceuticals. I have sent them endless emails to try and resolve and they basically accused me of lying and made me feel like a criminal when I have done nothing wrong. I have had to notify both Paypal and Amex of what I now consider to be a fraudulent attempt to deprive me of my money by skinceuticals. Having sent them endless reasonable emails all of which they replied to from a script with a different adviser never ever answering my concerns I have given up. Do not use them ever because if it goes wrong they will deny they have your money.
So bad and so expensive!!
Nightmare! Expensive beyond! Avoid! No results whatsoever!, I have used other brands like The Ordinary ( 10 percent of the price of this brand) and noticed results very quickly. With Skinseuticals my skin was the same if not worse!!!

They then advised they need to see the parcel label from Australia post. (they have all this information in their system).
They took over a week to respond I didn't keep the rubbish. I lodged investigation with Aus Post and they advised only the seller can access weight information.
They didn't send me my order and customer service is a complete nightmare! Avoid at all costs, you don't get your orde anyway. Reporting to the ACCC and lodging a bank dispute.

What a nightmare, I placed an order but it disappeared off their system then placed another one for a specific product an days later I still don’t know if they are sending it or not fingers crossed it sorts itself out at the phenomenal cost
The worst online retailer
This company has the worst customer service ever. I am trying to return a product that caused irritation. I have called and emailed multiple times now, but they keep giving me the runaround by asking for information I have already provided. I started the return process on November 4th, 2023. It is now November 14th. They are not even replying anymore. Horrible, terrible company with awful, overpriced products. I will never buy any of their products again, and will do my best to dissuade family and friends from buying as well. Because I don't want people I care about to experience this company's unprofessionalism and the frustration it has caused me.

Never received $200 Vitamin C&E or the credit that I was promised.... Called 6 times over 6 week period! Then they removed my review from their site. Worst customers service experience for a "luxury" product. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I recommend SkinMedica Vitamin C&E Complex, works as well for about $80 less.
Disappointing costumer support and packaging quality
I bought Blemish+Age Defence and after a month of use the drop container started to degrade and contaminate the product with black rubber. I reached out to skinceuticals directly and explained the situation to which they responded that they couldn't do anything because I didn't have the receipt for the purchase. Obviously I wasn't expecting to have this problem and I'm not in the habit of keeping receipts for things I don't think I might return... but the fact that they didn't even consider my issue for their quality assurance is really disappointing.
