I always book to view the products that im interested in first which you can do on there website.
Scott is a fantastic member of staff, friendly and always helpful when I go and collect my items.

SCAM SCAM SCAM - these guys are horrible. Do not deal with them if you expect even an ounce of customer service, they are dreadful!

Absolutely horrendous customer service - Worst customer service I have EVER received - I won a number of items and then was surprised to see that one of the items had been put as collection, bearing in mind I live quite far away collection was not an option and had filtered their website to only show 'postal'. So I didn't pay the invoice because that would imply I was ok to collect. They didn't reply to my email asking how to resolve this and subsequently locked my account and when I called them about it, what can I say? in a nutshell they don't care!! Account remains locked. Avoid at all costs!! Take your business elsewhere so many of the items don't work or are broken and it's been hidden in the pictures. Save yourself the stress go elsewhere!
SCAM - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE - USE JOHN PYE AUCTIONS
Totally useless. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Robbed me of £216 pounds. Refused to post out items that are marked as postal.
If one item is for collection they hold back ALL ITEMS (which I can’t collect) refusing to post item even though two of the products are identical.
Customer service is NON EXISTENT - only responses is “manager says no” and no acknowledge of the actually emails being sent, zero understand and a sheer lack of empathy.
Even worse, when a formal complaint is made they ignore you and wash their hands with you.
A SCAM COMPANY LOOKING FOR LOOP HOLES!
They will now be double profiting off the items I have already paid for.
If you want a company with proper customer service use JOHN PYE - they are a great action house with great Customer Service.
Unethical and Untrustworthy Practices at Simon Charless
I am writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with the services provided by Simon Charles. My experience with this company has been extremely frustrating and disappointing for several reasons.
1. Account Closure Without Notice
Firstly, Simon Charles closed my account without any prior notice. This action was completely unexpected and unjustified. When I reached out to their customer service for an explanation, they claimed that the account was closed because I allegedly had multiple accounts. Why would I have multiple accounts when it requires a £200 deposit? This accusation is entirely false as I have only ever had one account with Simon Charles. The lack of communication and transparency in this matter is highly unprofessional and has caused me significant inconvenience.
2. Refusal to Refund My Deposit
Secondly, and perhaps most egregiously, Simon Charless has refused to refund the £200 deposit I made at the time of opening my account. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue through their customer service channels, I have been met with dismissive and unhelpful responses. This refusal to return my deposit is not only unethical but also a breach of trust and good faith.
3. Selling Expired Products
Thirdly, Simon Charless once sold me products that were expired. When I approached them about this serious issue, they offered to help me sell the expired products, effectively suggesting that I scam another unsuspecting customer. I found this suggestion appalling and unethical, and I decided to dispose of the products rather than participate in such dishonest practices.
Overall, my experience with Simon Charles has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their unjustified account closure, refusal to refund my deposit, and unethical handling of expired products have left me feeling cheated and disrespected. I would strongly advise potential customers to be cautious and consider other, more reliable companies for their needs.
Final Thoughts
Customer service and ethical business practices are the foundation of a trustworthy company. Unfortunately, Simon Charles has demonstrated a significant lack of both. Until they address these serious issues, I cannot recommend their services to anyone.

Exactly as photographed & described , delighted with this considerable purchase. Collection times all good and swift, staff all pleasant.
Have been purchasing various lots over the past 6 years and apart from a long queue on occasion, and the odd item not working/broken, ( which is to be expected as it’s an auction…. Simon Charles sell liquidated stock, customer returns sometimes damaged/or faulty and other ceased or used goods) Read the small print or view products at viewing times, don’t moan afterwards, remember it’s an auctioneers
All purchases have been a massive saving on any retailer or outlet, if you bid wisely, and always remember it’s an auction so you have to understand the pit falls and take the rough with the smooth.

I wanted to write this review to give a huge thank you to Daryl and Graham at the Handforth warehouse. I was running 10 minutes behind my allotted collection time at 3:30. Simon Charles stayed open for me to collect. Once I arrived I was quite distressed after travelling quite away to get to the warehouse and worried I would miss the collection. Daryl and Graham personally carried my items to the van I had hired. Unfortunately even after hiring a van for my items they didn’t fit. The pair helped me unpack the items from there boxes and manoeuvered the items in my van until they fit. They went absolutely above and beyond even though they didn’t have to. The staff do not have to help you in this way and they were absolutely incredible. If they are reading this this I want to thank you personally, you really saved the day and it didn’t go unnoticed. Thank you again, you are both a credit to the team !
Brought an electric blanket
Brought an electric blanket, it doesnt even turn on. i know it's stated it's not been tested by them but, does anything actually work or any tom dick and harry can get rid of their broken crap on this site. Absolutely void if you want working items.
Let the buyer beware
Apple Air Pod Pro 2nd generation in auction. Description shown as "This product is untested by our staff at Simon Charles and therefore may not work and/or have parts missing. Please be aware that this product is a customer return."
Box was sealed but items are not Apple - ear connectors were not correctly packaged, serial numbers cannot be verified by Apple. Reading further, this may indicate counterfeit goods. Would like to see the due diligence tracking from "Supplier" where the "customer" returned them to. Three other similar lots in the same auction - AVOID.

Hello. I would like to share my experience.After few purchases from Simon Charles.I bought few pallets in past they ok not WoW.Today I picked up 2 pallets.One I still can't believe every single item is a rubbish mainly electric item,kitchen stuff every single one has been opened for parts .Every item has been taken to parts unscrewed engine removed, everything what could be used was removed from item.Basicly someone took good bits to fix different rubbish and put leftovers back into nice original boxes (I took photos of everything).I think Simone Charles should put minimum threshold and don't let people put they litter into auction.This look like I pay someone to empty his skip and took all his rubbish with me.This is about how much time this cost me .This review is for potential customers and owner to think how to make thinks better for everyone.

I get it now, why their reviews are so bad.
Bought a pram from them, listed as complete but unbranded. Went to collect and they gave me half a pram. What use is an unbranded pram seat without the pram. Literally selling trash fit for the bin!
Also, I emailed them about items on about 3 different occasions and not once did I get a reply. Definitely avoid.
STAY AWAY - "LEGAL" SCAM COMPANY wrong photos,fake descriptions,legal scam artist
SimonCharles are a sort of legal scam company that plays within legal loop holes to sell you literal rubbish via inaccurate descriptions, using either blurry or altogether different photos to advertise items that are essentially scrap.
After 3 years and around £3600 spent, i can honestly say that 90-95% of all their bids are utter GARBAGE. You're paying to take their rubbish away essentially.
I can't tell you how many times i've bought things that were not as advertised in the pictures and/or had BIG DEFECTS that were NOT SHOWN in the pictures - and im pretty sure that's done on purpose. Or getting things that are not what's in the picture altogether.
When addressing any issue to them, they have all sorts of excuses like "the image is for illustration purposes only" or "you are supposed to come and see it in person" when the picture is blurry or unclear, as if you're gonna travel xx miles every time you want to bid for a coffee machine or a desktop mouse XD i mean they're just full of BS, they know it, but they also know they can get away with it. So, conclusion:
STAY AWAY, SAVE YOUR MONEY, as a final note. Unless you wanna pay to be their rubbish bin man
An item was posted tested and working…
An item was posted tested and working in a premium auction...the item being an xbox and not cheap, simply did not work. They're did not offer a refund or any options at all. Awful company with awful customer service. How can they get away with stating tested and working on products that do not work. Do not buy anything from them I can't stress this enough.
NOT TRUSTWORTHY
I tried placing several bids on various items which had a END TIME but each time my bid (highest) got to within several seconds of the end time S C added 2 more minutes to the end time this happened several times .It seemed apparent that SC not getting the interest or anticipated price they wanted just kept extending the auction deadline .Their answer was that it was to stop sniping which makes NO sense ,if they want a certain price then they should place a reserve in their auction .
Another issue was a glitch ? in their system which was being placed in limbo when I placed a bid ( their system just stated that it was checking my bid ) which went on for about 30 seconds and continued after the close of the auction so I didn't know if my bid had been accepted or not .
Either way responses from the company are not helpful or do they foster any form of trust which has been confirmed when I have just looked at the others responses on this site .
Disappointed
Disappointed. First item arrived in days. 2nd (valuable and attractive) item still not received 2 weeks later. Standard copy paste email sent in response to my concerns saying Royal Mail have lost
“ Unfortunately, when entered into their website, it looks like we haven't actually given your goods to them. However, this is incorrect and I can assure you that your goods have indeed left our premises and are with the courier; we are just waiting for them to scan your item(s) into their network. For logistical and expediency reasons, we don't scan parcels out of our premises on to couriers' vehicles, so we are reliant on the courier scanning the items when they reach the local depot. Sometimes, unfortunately, this doesn't happen so we - and you - are left waiting for an update. However, if you are still without an update from Royal mail in the next day or so, please reply to this email and we will chase it up with them.”
3rd email and still waiting 😞 Meanwhile RM categorically state it’s not been received - not worth the hassle!

Counterfeit Fake Clothing
Well having bought from these a couple of times, this time I looked at there designer clothing bought a Stone Island Polo Shirt, to find out it's FAKE / COUNTERFEIT. having found out top brands register there designer logos through a website CERTILOGO, this allows anyone to verify the authenticity of the clothing, I done this and it came back as FAKE / COUNTERFEIT. NOT HAPPY. NOT ONLY NOT HAPPY THE RESPONSE FROM SIMON CHARLES WASNT FILLING ME WITH CONFIDENCE,AS THEY SAID AS THEY TRY THERE BEST TO AUTHENTICATE DESIGNERS ITEMS THAT SOMETIMES FAKE/ COUNTERFEIT CLOTHING AND OTHER DESIGNER ITEMS WILL GET THROUGH THERE SALES, FOR ME THATS JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH AND NOT ACCEPTABLE, for me I needed to inform trading standards on this matter, the truth is if they try there utmost to not allow counterfeit/fake items to get through then why did Simon Charles not doing the simplest thing and done what I done which within the polo shirt there is an attached label reference CERTILOGO as mentioned before you enter that unique reference number that is only unique to that specific item of clothing if it's authentic it will tell you and no doubt give you a certificate of authentication, IN MY CASE IT GIVE ME A REPORT TO SAY ITS FAKE / COUNTERFEIT, and that report actually gets sent over to the retailer in this case SIMON CHARLES, I'm guessing they don't do these checks and therefore find it unacceptable.
To add to this having also bought a hoodie again with all the tags on etc this was a F1 MAERCEDES BRANDED HOODIE, I am actually in the process of contacting F1 MERCHANDISE to find out the authenticity of this item also.
Luckily I purchased through a credit card which gives me added protection to get my money back.
Simon Charles says they have destroyed this Stone Island Polo Shirt, let's hope so, cause I'm.keeo and eagle eye out incase it does pop up.
NO MORE AUCTIONS FOR ME YOU ALWAYS LOOSING YOUR MONEY BEFORE YOU START. One experience I can't forget, won't ever go back. It makes you wonder what else is going through the sales mmmm.
