If there was a negative value I would give it. I have been trying to cash in a small pension for 6 MONTHS! I have be totally honest about my personal situation and about how much anxiety their time wasting is causing me. Today I sent an email to Steven McGee their CEO.
Yesterday I was promised my money would be will me by end of business yesterday or by this morning. NOTHING!!!!!!

TODAY IS 13TH JUNE , STILL NO PENSION PAID TO ME , INVESTIGATION STILL ON GOING , ALMOST 7 WEEKS THEY HAVE HELD MY MONEY SINCE I REQUESTED TO CASH IN .
HAVE NOW GONE TO THE TOP (STEPHEN McGEE ) THE CEO OF SCOTTISH FRIENDLY . HE NEEDS TO KNOW HOW HIS CUSTOMERS ARE BEING TREATED & STOP IT HAPPENING TO ANY OTHER PENSIONERS.
ALSO DO NOT TAKE ANY NOTICE OF THE GENERIC REPLIES TO ANY OF THE POSTS FROM THE COMPANY , ITS NEGATIVE ACTION .

Totally incompetent company who use delay tactics time and time again.
Small pot pension withdrawal should be a simple task but not with Scottish friendly who will complicate forms, keep you in the dark on timelines, never respond to emails and call representatives are clueless.
Im writing this review in the hope that someone from them will get in touch with me as I have exhausted all other possibilities.
All you get is we are busy right now. That should never be used as an excuse for poor service, that is your business and you are probably only so busy with people wanting to move monies from you.
If I could be arsed I would switch my childs trust fund from them to another company but judging on others reviews that would only be another headache.
I want my money please, sort it out.

I started this pension withdrawal journey on 1st of April, received forms via email 8th April, filled in and returned forms 9th April and told it would take 10-15 days.
Last and only contact issued by Scottish friendly was 22nd May despite my multiple emails to them.
Phoned today 2nd June to be told it would take up to another 20 working days.
It's really bad service and I would advise anyone to look elsewhere.

Requested P60 for the last Tax year to which the reply was 'This will be sent to you in the post'. I am still waiting after some six weeks!
All my P60's came within two weeks after the end of the last tax year!

Generally had a good experience with Scottish Friendly, up until the point my mum wanted to start putting money in our daughters Junior ISA, she was offered a deal in which both herself and us both got a voucher when she signed up.
Our voucher never came, I rang to discuss it, the fella on the phone confirmed he could see the deal and that we should've both received a voucher, but our voucher should've gone to my mum to be passed on to us rather than directly to us which seemed odd, and that she would have to ring to discuss it given it was her the offer was given to. She rang multiples times, didn't really get very far, it was made really difficult to the point in which I told her not to worry about it as I didn't want to put any more stress on her for the sake of a voucher.
Really quite more, we've since had another daughter, will be looking elsewhere for a junior ISA, will likely move our eldests daughters elsewhere too if it's not too much hassle.

Opened ISA in April and chose this Company because of their £200 voucher incentive. Still waiting for my policy documents and my voucher. Customer Service staff very good but still no response. Will be taking this to Financial Ombudsman Service.
