Positive Process
Our experience of the grant process has been extremely well supported by Sarah and her colleagues. Helpful and thorough with everything that needed doing, never pushy or overbearing. We felt listened to with regard to our concerns and never hurried into making important decisions about our home. Very much appreciated.

Sarah Dayus is amazing
Rural Energy Saving Grants was my initial contact when I realised that we qualified for improvements for health reasons (not on benefits). I am so glad I contacted them. Sarah Dayus is amazing. She kept in contact with me every step of the way. Work starts today (four months since I first applied). Hopefully, we will be warm this winter for the first time in 48 years and it is due, in no small part, to Sarah’s proactiveness.

A 5 star company
From the moment I contacted RESG I was impressed by their customer service which was efficient yet incredibly friendly. Sarah, my advisor was amazing from the word go and guided me through each step of the process with warmth and understanding. The whole process of applying to actually being awarded the grant has taken less then 3 months and was much more straightforward than I’d imagined it could be!
I can’t speak more highly of the company and Sarah in particular. They must have a very big office to park her wings… 😊

A Great Service
Sarah made the process easy for us from the very first point of contact. She supported us through the stros and kept us informed.
Our surveyor listened to us and answered our questions.
Our installation has started within 8 weeks of our initial contact. We were fortunate that our council was prompt in their area.

Couldn't have done it on my own...........
To say my experience was great is an understatement. From the get go, back in February, when Sarah, from RESG, rang within the hour after my online application for an ECO4 grant. Sarah was very professional with a bubbly personality and very knowledgeable in the areas I was applying for. Sarah checked my details and assured me the best course of action was to apply for everything. If the recommended company couldn't accommodate all the ECO4 installs available, then we would go onto the next lower level, even if we went to just insulation in the loft we would get something due to my qualifying circumstances. As it was, her first recommended company took me on. Following 2 surveys, pricing, planning and funding permission etc etc, the full install is going ahead starting this week. All thanks to Sarah, who went above and beyond to keep me abreast of everything that was happening at the installers, with text and personal calls. If it wasn't for RESG, namely Sarah, my point of contact, I would be spending a very cold winter (especially now, after Govt cut backs to us pensioners) but now, I expect to be as snug as a bug in a rug. ps. The delay(s) in the application were caused by bureaucratic red tape, as is usual. THANK YOU SARAH, and thank you RESG for your Facebook post appearing at just the right time after another ECO4 installer had let me down, 5 days before installation was to go ahead.

Rural Energy Saving Grant scheme
We want to thank you for your help and support with our application for a Rural Energy Saving Grant. With your guidance the process was straightforward way beyond our expectations.
You were quick to get back to us with answers and there to advise and steer us through. Decisions were made swiftly and in no time at all we were delighted to hear that our application was successful. We couldn't have done it without you. Thank you for your positivity, calm demeanour and for prompt responses to even the daftest questions!
A few days after being informed the bid was successful the scaffolders were on site. The asbestos surveyor is coming two days later and the PV installers are starting work on day five. Not bad at all!
The upshot of all this is that, despite health issues, we will be able to stay in our home longer than we thought possible. Energy use will be more sustainable and affordable, and the house will be warm, I can't wait!
What an amazing scheme.
