Rural Grants Life changing with little disruption. First class.
From beginning to end my experience with Rural Grants was superb. I must mention Andy. He was there for me throughout. No query or question was a bother. Installation was carried out with a minimum of disruption. It was amazing the work done by Ian and his brother in law. I am so happy with my warm home. Other than some dust and some small paint touching up work, my house is back to normal. I am so very grateful to get this amazing opportunity at my stage in life. One very happy customer.

****This is an edited review to clear up the company that the review should have been addressed to, Rural have been the only ones who have been in touch and hopefully can assist in getting the issues resolved****
May I add this review was initially posted on the Rural Saving Energy Grants Trustpilot page but due to the lack of communication by Eco Providers I didn't know that it was them(Eco Providers) this should be addressed to, my contact from Rural has called me and spent an hour on the phone with me this morning and I can say that the complaint is in no way addressed to them(Rural Saving Energy Grants).....
After months of waiting for answers to simple questions on quality assurance, warranties, project plans and site welfare the team involved has gone quiet and the only communication I have had is to say they have tried to contact me and I have not replied. This is wholly untrue and the company who have been assigned to the job just want to come in, do a smash and grab and collect on the cash. I have lost all faith that this can be done without accepting that they can do the job in a backwards process and do internal wall insulation then come in and install trunking and surface mounted pipes and think this is acceptable. Maybe for some this would be OK but with no guarantees for their work or products used it isn't for me. The funding has been signed off months ago and I would love to know how much has been drawn down when nothing has been done.

Thank you for updating your review and for speaking to Andy from our team at length this morning. We really care about your experience, and completely understand how frustrating the journey has been for you. After an investigation, we discovered that this issue was caused by one individual at one of our many third party suppliers. We can confirm that Rural Energy Saving Grants no longer work with this individual, and so this will not be happening again in the future.
We can confirm that funding is only released to providers once the grant recipient has signed a declaration after the full works are completed. No funding had been claimed or released in relation to your home.
We also only work with teams where we have long-standing relationships of trust and quality reassurance. In fact, we often return to installations in person after 12 months to ensure that everything is operating as it should be - you will be able to see this on our testimonial pages.
A major part of our service is to protect homes from poor quality installations, and we can assure you that none of our partners perform the type of work that you described above. Full product and install warranties, guarantees, design proposals and quality checks are always in place prior to any retrofit project. Unfortunately due to the error of the aforementioned third party individual, you did not reach this stage in the process.
We would like the opportunity to turn this review into a 5 star, and so we will be closely reviewing the situation to see if we can facilitate a positive outcome for you.
Please accept our sincere apologies on behalf of the poor performance experienced by this third party. And thank you for bringing this issue to our attention, as this has allowed us to prevent this from happening again in the future.

Excellent service
I started with Sarah then moved onto Callum when applying for my energy saving grant. The entire process from inception to handover and completion was flawless. I had also had a major bereavement and struggled with all the paperwork initially but I was supported throughout and cannot fault the excellent service received.

Highly recommend
Applied for the grant for heat source air pump, solar panels and wall insulation with Rural energy savings grants.
On my first enquiry Louise helped me through the whole process of the application.
Louise was so helpful and knowledgeable regarding any questions and queries I had, she helped to ensure that the whole process was stress free.
Louise kept me updated throughout the whole process and advised me at each stage of the application how long it would take.
When there was an issue with the survey she was there straight away and dealt with the issue around funding available. Louise was able to source an alternative company and we have been successful in obtaining a full grant.

This grant seems unbelievable, but it is very real.
This grant seems unbelievable, but it really is true.
My journey was supported by Andy who guided me through everything - I was always kept up to date and he assisted with the paperwork and appointments with Surveyors.
Unfortunately, my system fell through at the very last hurdle, not a fault of Andy or Rural Energy Saving Grants. It was more the layout of my house for the designer. He has encouraged me not to give up - so I’m looking for an alternative designer/s, as RESG only work with one in my area.
It is REAL as amazing as it sounds, if you qualify- you are not taking money from the Government or tax paying public, but from the Big Energy companies. When you have an auto immune disease and live in an old house it is daunting/impossible to try to afford upgrading to eco friendly energy.
I investigated this thoroughly before I agreed to send anything in. In fact I hung up on Andy at our first call when he asked for my info, to google and watch videos before I called him back!
Talk to Andy if you qualify, he will assist and I’ll keep my fingers crossed I may still manage to do this.
PS- I have not been paid to write this even tho I didn’t get my build (for now! 😃) I just hope people in a situation like me can benefit from this. Kirsty

Friendly and informative staff
Friendly and informative staff. I was helped through the application process by Andy who was fantastic. All went extremely smoothly and quickly. I was told today that I had qualified for the grant and work on instilation of solar panels and air source heat pump should start in a couple of week time. This will be done by another company.

Helpful from start to finish
Sarah was brilliant from the outset...I feel sorry for them having to deal with a Local Authority which causes unnecessary delays. She talked me through the whole process, matched us with the installers and kept us informed from day one after another (Cardiff based) company promised the earth but let us down despite being recommended by a friend.
When Sarah had to take a step back, Andy took over the reins and got the application across the line, for which we are extremely grateful - having waited almost 4 months for our local council to tick a few boxes, once the application was approved, the rest of the process was swift and straightforward. Eternally grateful to you both.

Let’s start by saying Andy was brilliant.
I had a very bad previous experience with another company late last year which made me very apprehensive of the ECO4 scheme however when I saw RESG on Facebook and the good reviews I thought I’d give it another go and I am so happy I did.
Speedy, efficient and lovely to deal with, Andy handled the process in such a way that (as a disabled person who worries about the added impact stress has on me) made it super easy and stress free.
