They need to prepare better for bundles.

I feel like they did a good job shipping out both orders of the Roli Seamboard M that I ordered.

My only complaint was that second order I placed with them for a Seaboard M/Airwave bundle. They had the Seaboard M in stock, which shipped quickly, but they didn't have the Airwave in stock to ship with the Seaboard M, which kind of annoyed me.

I feel like if they're going to offer this kind of bundle sale, they should be prepared and have both items be available to ship together at the same time.

So, I am now having to wait till the end of January for the Airwave to even ship out even though I placed the order about a week before Christmas.

Don't order anything from them

Don't order anything from them. My piano is in batch 17 NEXT IN LINE!!!! Just received a mail stating that they moved the delivery date to mid-March as they are incompetent to deliver. Don't bother as it's just a waste of time!!!!

March 9 (now end of March or mid April) - email received with the following statement: "there is a chance that your order will be delivered closer to the end of March or mid April". It's incredible how poorly they treat their customers. The email always comes with a cancel option. I will persist to see their ability to do the basics.

Feb 26 (no updates) - No change in order status (To be processed - Your order is waiting to be processed) and, as promised, this will not occur in mid-March. What excuse will be provided to try to calm down a kid who asks every day about the status? He just needs the product. Please, back to the basic and deliver the product.

Jan 28 (promised mid-march) - Now ROLI informed "your order has been delayed and will now arrive in mid-March" providing a learn coupon to secure a full year's subscription to the ROLI Learn app without any confidence that the order will be fulfilled and, if there are problems with suppliers, that it will be of the same quality.

no order updates, no response from support. Still waiting any feedback. Order SE-50011 in December 2025 for Piano M Learn x2 Bundle.

Roli is realy great to learn to play…

Roli is realy great to learn to play piano for me. I found it easy and really like to try new songs with are plenty. I find there my favourite songs and love to learn it to play.
I think most bad reviews is about delay in deliver. All of you I hope you get your piano and can change opinion 😉

Die Versanddauer ist unverschämt

Die Versanddauer ist nicht nur zu lang. Die ist unverschämt und wird ständig nach hinten verschoben. Mann bekommt leider zu wenig InfoMails über die Verzögerung . Man fühlt sich total allein gelassen , da man sich nicht sicher ist, ob man an einen Betrüger geraten ist. Man wartet doch schließlich auf sein bestelltes Produkt, was man schon vorab bezahlt hat. Es ist doch nicht wenig Geld , was man zuvor zahlen musste. Das ist keine Art, so mit einem Kunden umzugehen. Das macht man nicht. Andere Shops handhaben das doch einfacher, ist die Ware nicht vorrätig, kann man nicht bestellen … hinzufügen zum Warenkorb ist ausgegraut, bis das Lager wieder gefüllt wird und man hat meist eine Möglichkeit sich per E-Mail informieren zu lassen, wenn die gewünschte Ware wieder im Lager als Bestand vorhanden ist , nicht umgekehrt .Bestellungen möglich machen, Geld ein kassieren und dann über ein Jahr nicht liefern können. Nein nein nein!!!

Excellent experience of the Roli Piano

Excellent experience of the Piano so far, been able to use MPE on my supported hardware and software synths, but also use fallback for older synthesizers. GUI and the apps are quite user friendly and nice looking.

I am giving 4 stars only because the shipping issues are a problem. I waited over a year to get my airwave and that does need to be said. However, the equipment is premium. Worth every penny and I have yet to have a single issue with software or it's integration into my DAWs. In my opinion, there is nothing on the market that even comes close to being as expressive as ROLI's devices at this price range. It was worth the wait.

Seaboard Rise - excellent!

I've been using my Seaboard Rise for some time now. It's a very expressive instrument. If you want your music to be an extention of yourself then the Silicone keybed is better than standard keys. First class instrument with a great VST and good Sound packs.

Absolute mess. Save your money, stay away.

Made a purchase in september. Was informed that the purchase will be delivered by december

In january still nothing. They sent the 2nd part of the product (airwave) that is utterly useless without the piano itself.

They shipped the airwave with express shipment while ALLEGEDLY sent the piano. Support answers ONLY if you ping the discord. The discord server just goes by the same "sorry to hear that etc etc"

Stay away. This is a terrible company with Overpromising and underdelivering.

After numerous pings I've recieved an email with them offering a replacement if my product will not arrive. I requested a replacement... and again got a radio silence

Wrong product received late - Unresponsive support

I ordered a Piano Learn + Airwave bundle. It was supposed to arrive before Christmas as it was my daughter’s present. It did not arrive on time. On 9 January, I finally received my order, but the wrong piano was sent; ROLI sent me the smaller Piano M instead. I opened a support ticket (#239084) on 9 January, and 10 days later there was still no reply.

Update – 10 February:
My piano finally arrived, two and a half months late. I was told there was a mistake at the Australian warehouse. They let me keep the Piano M that was sent by mistake, which was a nice commercial gesture.

Overall, the products and software are good, but ROLI needs to improve its operations and on-time delivery performance. The Piano M is too small to learn with both hands, and the keys are smaller than those on a full-size keyboard. It can be useful as part of a setup if you want a small MIDI controller with MPE capabilities.

I have not tried Piano Learn yet. The ROLI Learn app and the ROLI Airwave work well and are engaging, and they are motivating my daughter to learn on her own.

Love Roli!

Love Roli.

Have a seaboard m, airwave, and roli piano. Delivery was quite delayed but they stayed in touch (monthly updates) and was due to the changing situations with tarrifs. Love the community engagement, youtube videos, newsletters.

The synths themselves were really easy to get into and feel great. Keys feel reactive and expressive, from someone who has mainly played piano (not keyboards) all my life.

100% would recommend!

Item hasn’t arrived

I ordered a piano m early December for my boys Christmas present, still haven’t arrived and I’ve contacted ROLI 3 times but all I keep getting is automated responses which are useless! Where’s my order?

Good product - terrible support

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have a problem with the product (I tried a friends….why? You ask? I’m getting to that)

The customer service as awful. This company is very happy to take your money… but not so willing to actually send the product or answer support questions correctly on the orders when not delivered.

My order, S G - xxx 5 3 was made 29 Nov 2025. At this stage the ROLI airwave & x2 ROLI piano m said they were due BEFORE XMAS. This did not happen…

I sent MANY emails asking for an update on the order’s delivery, these either just got automated responses or where ignored. I kept sending the with increased severity (asking for a manager) to no avail.

I also ordered a sustain pedal on the same order, in all the time I had from the order I found another on Amazon for a third of the price…so emailed support requesting a refund.

The airwave was then delivered Jan 6th… but not piano m m to use it with! Strong emails to support ensued.

Finally on the 16th of Jan I got a reply saying the the airwave HAD arrived, telling me the sustain pedal (that I’d since cancelled) would arrive in feb! - an apology to the late reply and delivery and NO NEWS ON THE MISSING X2 PIANO M (ref number for ticket #236031) NOT helpful.

Clearly the support person had not looked for related tickets at all….

More angry emails ensued same day. No response as yet.

This is the perfect example of a good product with terrible customer support… Hopefully someone at ROLI reads this and something actually happens with my issue.

UPDATE - a reply,
Well done Sarah in support for taking this on.
Pedal refunded, was told that due to an error, piano m’s not ordered, a new order would need to be placed and would not arrive till mid March 2026. Was offered a year membership, for a service I can’t at the moment use…. So that is something….

UPDATE 20th Jan 2026
Sarah in support did get back to me and offered a years membership and agreed to send snapcases for the x2 piano m’s which was nice. This issue was put down to an issue with r the websites shopping basket having a problem, this caused a lot of calls dealing my call back from support. Short version the main part of my order is now going to be 4 months late!

That said Sarah was very helpful and did all she could to help, she is a credit to the company. I just wish I had dralt with her sooner

UPDATE 23rd March 2026
Still no sign of x2 piano m, 5 months in now and despite a “mid March” delivery promise, still no sign. Sarah is now on leave and tho I emailed weds 18th, Friday 20th and Monday 23rd….. no response. Seems nothing happens one but Sarah from ROLI answers emails or support tickets!

VERY DISAPPOINTING

Now going down the refund route as I doubt these items will ever arrive.

Highly recommend ROLI!

After having played the piano as a child for 8 years, I have not done anything with this skill for over 30 years. As I do not have the space for a real piano nor the time for weekly lessons (as a mother of young children), I felt Roli was the perfect solution for this. I get the sound of a real piano, but I can store it away when I need to. I can practice when I want. Be careful, it's quite addicting :) I ordered the regular piano on pre order, so I knew it was going to be a while. But I received very clear email updates about when I would get my order. Yes, I had to wait, but for me it was worth the wait! I absolutely recommend Roli, the piano is perfect quality and the app has many fun songs and lessons to learn.

Won’t process cancellation, return, refund.

Like everyone is saying, ROLI is having trouble sticking to the shipping times they’ve committed. That’s annoying but what can you do. What’s not okay is ghosting support and cancellation requests. Because they were a month late shipping I’m no longer at the same address (I’m actually overseas) so I asked them 30 days ago to cancel my order as I unfortunately can no longer receive it. I have sent 5 emails and received zero replies and so I’ve had to initiate a charge back with my credit card company.

TOTALLY dissapointed

I was redirected to this survey after leaving a bad review about my "Airwave Experience" ROLI instruments are great, however they don't seem to understand that a great instrument MUST be backed up by a great service (and customer service) otherwise the whole experience it is not complete.
Having to wait 1 year 2 months and 23 years to receive something I purchased on -PRE sale- is just unacceptable. Stupid excuses such as "thanks for your patience" are just rubbish. Have I enjoyed my airwave now that I finally received? Honestly, that is totally secondary at this point. The most disappointing part of all is that ROLI continued their publicity hiring top notch influencers KNOWING that they had a huge back order situation. For all the people that eating more than a year the money should be 100% reimbursed.

Received a faulty Seaboard 2

Received a faulty Seaboard 2 Christmas of 2024. Just like 2025, support was absolute chaos and it was obvious from many reports that QC was lacking for all products.

Upon asking if a replacement would be fault free, they simply replied that they can’t guarantee that, but that a firmware update would be released instead.

This confirms at least one thing. QC is indeed lacking. They deliberately choose to skip on proper testing to save on cash and prefer dealing with after sales support instead, otherwise manufacturing and shipping is delayed even more…

They also lie about resolving issues through updates. Nothing was released, nothing is being worked on…likely nothing will be released ever.
