We can confirm your cancellation email was received on Thursday 12th March 2026 which we responded and confirmed by email on the same day at 13:31. A subsequent email was received on Friday 13th March 2026 which we replied on the same day, confirming the cancellation and the charges. If you haven’t received either of these emails, we recommend checking your spam or junk folders, as they can sometimes be filtered there by your email provider.

Is it a scam company?
After a lengthy exchange of emails, I felt I had no reasonable option but to cancel the policy before starting.
Unfortunately, I was left with the impression that the main objective was to retain the £90 fee rather than resolve the issue properly.
In my view, this reflects very poor practice, and I would not consider using this insurance company again in the future.

Given the time that has elapsed since your policy was cancelled, we were surprised to read your review claiming that we are a scam company, which we strongly reject.
We are a regulated business by the Financial Conduct Authority, operating in compliance with all applicable laws and industry regulations. Accusations of this nature are taken extremely seriously, as they can be misleading to others and do not reflect the reality of how we operate or treat our customers.
Having reviewed your journey, we can see that you cancelled your policy in November last year stating that you had 'got a better offer'. As per your request, the policy was cancelled in line with our Terms and Conditions and the relevant fees and charges applied which you accepted prior to purchase of your policy.

Be very cautious of their privacy…
Be very cautious of their privacy statement before agreeing to anything. This is an excerpt from their policy when buying a motor insurance with them: "What type of personal information do we need? We may need personal details which might include details of members of your family, lifestyle, finances, business or education.
What other types of information do we need? Under certain circumstances we may also need to obtain information about Race or Origin, Gender, Religion, Health, Politics, Genetics, Trade Union Membership, Sex or Sexual Orientation." They also make a provision to: "transfer information to a third country outside the EU, we will only do so if a similar level of protection applies. If we need to obtain information which is by nature sensitive, we will only do so on the basis that it is in the public interest - for example to fight crime, prevent fraud or to make sure insurance is available."

Surely A Right Good Saving
I went through the Money Supermarket website and I think they must have had all my info on the system making it a very simple and quick process to get several quotes with a good level of cover. RightSure wasn't the cheapest overall but was the most competitive of the 5 Star rated providers and saved me around £60 on my renewal quote - long standing provider increased their renewal premium by 38%! Just proves the benefit of getting updated quotes at renewal and not just accepting the BS excuses for vastly inflated increases. Policy docs came through by email immediately too.
