Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

My sister bought a car from a company on Autotrader (second hand mini)
It was advertised with quite high mileage, but in excellent condition, brand new MOT and full service history.
The company charged her £280 delivery and it was delivered on a flatbed transit.
On the same day, she taxed and insured it, and took it to the garage to put diesel in (less than 3 miles away) as she got home, the engine light came on, and coolant was leaking everywhere from the engine. (remember she had driven about 6 miles)
I contacted the seller who said she had to take it to a garage to be repaired and they will pay for any repairs (by way of reimbursement)

Ian and the team at Reject My Car were recommended to me after I asked for help on social media and all I can say is "wow"
I spoke with Ian, and the team sent a follow up email asking for some basic information- 2 days later, we have had confirmation that the seller has agreed to a FULL refund!!!
I genuinely cannot thank you all enough.

We bought a brand new car in November…

We bought a brand new car in November 21. There was a problem with in 2 miles off the dealer with an airbag fault necessitating return to the dealer. This issue with the SRS system grew worse over the next few months with the car spending a considerable time in the dealers workshop. At the end of May the manufacturer told us that a new wiring harness was required to be installed. We said enough we want a new car. They said no they would repair the car. If we wanted to reject the car we should go through the finance company. So much for customer care!! It was then we found “Reject My Car”. After a discussion with Ian. We asked home to take on our case. Within 3 weeks everything was sorted and we received a full refund and all finance payments. This was agreed with the manufacturer by Ian. Thank you so much

A dog with a bone (Never gives in)

Ian and his staff went all out for us. It took two and a half years to uncover the history of our car and how the damage happened and when. Showing we were innocent and didn't damage the car, or have the so called accident. Ian has been described as a dog with a bone, he never gives in. He gives 120% and if need be, is in for the long haul, as with us. I now drive a new car, of which Ian helped in the purchase, with his contacts. His knowledge within the car industry, legal knowledge, and financial knowledge is amazing. Out of 10 he's definitely a 15 plus. I can only thank our local company in Braintree where we're based that recommend him back in 2020.

Well, what can I say about this one...!
Despite national media coverage and so many column inches of text, it took a spot on a national TV consumer show to spur action!
But, we got the required action, bringing 30 months of hell to a close for you!
This was a straightforward dispute too, but it shows how far and hard the car dealers and finance companies will fight to stop consumers exercising their rights!
Now you have your new car and things are back to the way they should be, and what a new car it is!

Where do I start! Amazing service!

These so-called luxury brands seem to think consumers will put up with daily events such as yours.

Unbelievable outcome !!!

If your reading these reviews I guess you need help of some sort, you have certainly come to the right place!

After receiving the all clear from'The Official HPI Check' I purchased a vehicle only to discover a year later it was a non-registered CAT S salvage repair and was worth a third of what I paid for it. Just over 72 hours after engaging Ian he had recovered the full market value plus expenses, an incredible outcome in such a short time. Thank you so much Ian.

Not all super hero's wear capes.......

When it came to light our car was a non-registered CAT S salvage repaired vehicle it felt like the bottom of our world had fell out. Then a phone call out of the blue on a Sunday from Ian who we knew nothing of offering his services to help and support, little did I know at this time Ian is an absolute gent. Ture to his word, reliable, trustworthy with an admirable tenacity to ensure these companies/individuals are brought to account for their actions. An absolute hero

An absolute hero! When I found out my car was an ex salvage car that I'd paid a hell of a lot of money for, I felt lost. This genuinely top bloke rang me telling me all was not lost! Absolutely professional and helpful…

Absolutely professional and helpful service, I sincerely encourage you to use the services and advice of Ian. He helped me get the money back for my Audi A4, which I wanted to return due to the engine management and the fact that it was in poor condition. I bought the car at a showroom in Glasgow. At the beginning of the covid restrictions. So I didn't have the opportunity to thoroughly check the condition of the car. What the car dealer used to deceive me. Stress free at last!

Not enough words can say how grateful we are to Ian at Rejectmycar.com.

We place an order from a brand new Vauxhall in March 21 and finally took delivery of a vehicle in September 21. Within 2 days the car was leaking oil and had to be recovered and sent back to the dealership, Evan Hallshaw in Falkirk. We were told it was a seal between the gearbox and engine and it would be repaired by the end of the week. A week passed so we called and were told another part was still to arrive... a NEW GEAR BOX. As you could imagine we were not happy with this and logged the official process of rejecting the car. We were messed around and were at a brick wall with them. We found reject my car online and called, straight away Ian looked at the information we provided and gave us hope that this will be resolved. The next day Ian was right on to the matters and got the ball back into their court. Ian had Evan Halshaw on the back foot from the word go, they had no options to accept the rejection and on top of that corrected the issues with our Audi as part exchange. They had totally under valued the Audi and he had managed to tidy this up and leave us with good few thousand back into our pocket that we were not expecting.

Without rejectmycar.com we would have undoubtedly had to accept Evan Halshaw proposal but thanks to Ian, he managed to turn it all around and we could not be happier with the results!

Ian is very professional, very quick to response and updated us every step of the way.

There were so many parts of this complaint that were down to a ruthless and rather dishonest dealer.
The worst bit was the PX value and finance settlement, both manipulated to give you several thousands less than market value. Added to this, the dealership staff were uncooperative and arrogant. They need a long hard look at their conduct!
Hopefully the extra cash at this time will give a very merry Christmas!

It's a life saving Knight

To be honest I found Reject My Car by a lucky coincidence... we were struggling with the car dealer who cheated and sold us a faulty car and was playing games alongside with the finance company. We were fighting with windmills for 5 months until one of car inspectors had recommended reject my car. We have almost lost hope and with the help of Ian we managed to deal with the case in 2 days in our favour. We got our money back and thanks to that we will have happy Christmas. Very professional service provided by people who really care. I recommend to anyone who struggles with car dealers, life saver!!!!!

I had purchased a car from a local dealer which developed a serious fault not long after taking it home. I contacted the dealer who were initially resistant to my claim, and were not interested in the warranty they had provided. This unsettling situation led me to seek help from Reject My Car.

From the word GO, Ian could not have been more professional and diligent with my case. Good and timely communication is absolutely essential and I cannot fault the Reject My Car team.

Reject My Car took responsibility for my communication with the dealership, who seemed to co-operate very well with Reject My Car. All in all, an unsettling and stressful situation was turned into one where I had the utmost of confidence that my case was going to be a success.

Had Reject My Car deal with a terrible situation from John Clark Dundee Audi who just did not want to know about my Audi Q5 that had major damage before I bought it new last year.(or not as they would tell me) Nothing but constant problems with it since then . Matter taken up with VWFS who conducted their own investigation and rectified situation. Car was uplifted and monetary settlement agreed . Very professional and very much on the ball , outstanding.

What should have been a premium experience was soured by the Audi dealer delivering a car that they knew to be damaged.
Possibly the worst case of deception I have had.
Then, they tried to blsme the other Audi dealer!

Ian and Robert ended my lemon Car nightmare !

I bought a luxury SUV car from a garage in England,called Saxton 4x4 which i advise strongly to (avoid at all cost ) if you are thinking of dealing with them at any time.The Suv ended up being a total lemon, that was in a serious accident,before i bought it. Ian ,the owner of reject my car recovered all the money i original paid for the car ,plus extra 1000 pound, which was for money i had spent,on ripped seats ,tint windows ,towbar etc Over all Ian is a total gentleman , and never had any problem getting in touch with him. He works with Robert ,who is a professional in the legal department , side of things. I had two options ,with one option being,go to court and wait a year for a outcome ,and confident that i would receive full compensation,for everything spent,or Second option ,was to settle with Saxton ,through reject mycar ,and have it over with sooner ,and have a lot less complicated work to do ,but being out of pocket ,around 4000 Pound ,after i had paid for everything ,the car extras ,solicitor ,professional motor assessor ,and the Rejectmycar fee. It was a lesson learned ,with buying the car ,but I recommend Ian and Robert for helping me through it all ,and recovering as much as we could. I contacted Ian feb 2021 and we had a nightmare of a time,with dvla strikes,and getting a nova clearance.I had the money in my bank august 2021
Overall i would use Rejectmycar again,and it was a pleasure to Deal with Ian Thanks again patrick

What a great find!

Having battled for weeks to reject a car that went wrong within 48 hours of purchase - it turned out it needed a new turbo, I was at the end of my tether and feeling incredibly stressed and alone. I found out about Ian at Reject My Car and didn't look back. As soon as I spoke to him I felt that I was in safe hands and had such a sense of relief that Ian was going to take over dealing with a difficult dealer.
He and his team worked so hard to achieve the resolution we were after and that we have now got. He knows so much about the motor trade and when you are feeling vulnerable in this sort of situation it feels great to have someone fighting your corner!

Reject My Car; Money comes before client.

Reject My Car is run by an ex-car salesman with no legal qualification.

A one man band who, given his previous "Colourful" employment with two well known car dealers, can be described as a Poacher turned Gamekeeper.

He runs a No Win No Fee operation.

I fully agree that you should be able to reject a car, its your right. In 2014, long before Reject My Car thought they could make money out of it, I rejected a car of my own. It took two telephone calls and one email. IT COST ME NOTHING.

I have an ongoing dispute with a well known Detailing Company in Linlithgow (see separate review) over £23,000 damage they caused to my car while it was in their care.

Nothing to do with anyone Rejecting a Car; but for some reason (profit?) and out of the blue, the Managing Director of REJECT got involved as, in his words an "Intermediary" (a person who acts as a link between people in order to try and bring about an agreement - a mediator). From the outset he was obstructive, difficult to deal with, manipulative, bullying and selective on how he responded to correspondence I sent to the Detailing Company through him.

Through email, directed at the Detailing Company, the Managing Director of REJECT refused to answer difficult or obvious questions and failed to even respond to certain email that he obviously found uncomfortable or unable to deal with.

He tried to supress and bully my methods of communication and liked to try and quote legal jargon as often as possible despite having no legal background or qualification. He did not listen nor was he interested in my side of the story, only that of who was paying him.

He supported the Detailing Company's underhand practices such as destroying crucial CCTV and their attempt to implicate others as being responsible for the damage. And rather than help bring people together and find a solution, compounded the situation by his arrogance and reluctance to listen to and face the truth from other people.

At no time did he ever ask or was interested in my side of the story.

REJECT is a company clearly financially motivated with no care or consideration for other parties and all too quick to believe the people paying his bills, while dismissing everyone else.

Intermediary; A person who acts as a link between people in order to try and bring about an agreement-a mediator.
When describing the Managing Director of REJECT My Car, this description could not be further from the truth. He's in it for his own benefit.

The Managing Director has tried to silence me by applying to Trustpilot to have this review removed. He has failed.
The Managing Director threatened to take legal action against me. He has failed.

Think carefully before giving any money to the Managing Director of REJECT as your right to reject your car (and the process for doing it) is free.

If you are on the receiving end of the Managing Director of REJECT, don't be bullied, shouted down or intimidated by him as this is the only approach he knows.

My enquiries and cases shot up 50% after this chap posted his silly review!

AND MR HOSSACK WAS NOT EVEN MY CLIENT! On this occasion I acted for a business who were being pursued by a disgruntled ex-policeman making a nuisance of himself.

It is not often I get to talk about cases, but in this case I get to because Mr Hossack has kindly put this dispute into the public domain!
I have not 'sold' cars since 1998, and since that time I was running large dealerships as the General Manager, but it gave me a great insight into how to deal with difficult situations and mouthy individuals!

I run Reject™ as a 'no win no fee' business to make sure my Clients are not exposed to further financial stress whilst matters are ongoing, and they only pay their fee when we succeed in their case!

In this particular case we assisted NRJ, a high-quality bespoke car detailing service.
They were being hounded by this over-bearing and unusually difficult ex-policeman who accused them of damaging his track-day Porsche.
He says they ‘washed it wrong’.....
They immediately involved the product manager of GTechniq, one of the most respected car detailing product manufacturers in the world!
They sent samples of their product and the component Mr Hossack says was damaged, to their lab and tested the product for chemical attack to an incredibly high degree and found that it did not cause any degradation whatsoever. They gave Mr Hossack a copy of their lab report, but that was not good enough. He still demanded that my Client pay up.
What is unknown is who else washed this track-day car? It must have had possibly hundreds of other washes over its life. Track-days are messy affairs with oil, high-octane fuel, brake fluid, clutch fluid, CTFR and who knows what else all coating the cars running at high speed and high temperature. I think these environments are probably the more likely suspects!

As for the dispute itself, this chap has been dealt with in a courteous manner, responded to promptly and his various assertions on wrongdoing are a load of nonsense. Unable to articulate himself in a proper manner, he lashes out like this with an ill-thought-out attack, hoping that by stamping his feet he might get somewhere! I think both him and his wife need to take a long hard look at their conduct. Our record keeping is meticulous and as a responsible data-controller, registered with the ICO, we know how to handle our Clients data safely, securely and lawfully.

But one thing that Mr Hossack IS right about is that we are VERY financially motivated, and we will work hard for OUR CLIENTS to make sure that they get the settlement they deserve. We always hold OUR CLIENTS at the heart of what we do, and this case is a great example of why YOU should have US on YOUR side!

So, the lesson here?

Brilliant service, and friendly too!

Ian at rejectmycar was a pleasure to deal with, and helped me out with a brand new Astra that had issues within 6 months of collection. He was efficient, kept me updated with everything going on, and was successful in securing me a brand new vehicle replacement! I loved the car when I first got it, and was devastated to lose faith in it after multiple non-starts and gear shift issues. As someone with family a 2 hour drive away, I use my car often and for long journeys, and I hated feeling uncomfortable when I drove. I assumed the best solution was to have a refund of the monies I’d paid, and was gutted to have to start the car search again, but Ian was confident in getting a replacement!
For anyone having issues and looking to reject a vehicle, I don’t think there could be anyone better! Every step of the process was explained clearly to me, and it was a huge reassurance having the rejectmycar team on my side. The new vehicle is a dream to drive again, and has given me back the joy of the car I loved!

Absolutely the place to be if you are having any doubt with regard to rejecting a vehicle! I’ll try to keep this short! Purchased a Range Rover Evoque at 45k within the 6 months numerous amounts of issues. Got JLR to communicate with the dealer to support the dealer to a change the vehicle, less mileage that had accrued up to the point of issues. Reject my car we’re right on the money, their knowledge and advice along with expertise is invaluable in terms of support, as you will fully understand where you are at and what you need to do! No need to jump straight to a solicitor, when you have this amazing service at hand. Thank you, keep up the excellent work. 😉

Support and guidance throughout

Since delivery of an unsatisfactory vehicle in February 2021 and after contacting Reject My Car to seek guidance, Ian has been by my side at the important key moments in the difficult process of getting my money back and the car rejected. He also positively encouraged when times got 'heavy'!
He worked hard as a mediator between myself and the dealer. He patiently listened to my complaints about the terrible service from the dealer, my questions and my worries! He also assisted in the writing of emails. Ian undertook searches on the vehicle to find information that would aid my case and claim.
At the court hearing yesterday, he supported me by appearing at the digital hearing- listening carefully to the discussion and adding any technical detail I failed to voice. He contributed to my evidence pack I sent the judge.
Ian's help, knowledge and guidance most definitely helped to get the result we hoped for- a ruling in our favour. Full money back plus costs and expenses. And then the car will return to the dealer.
A long journey- but we totally appreciated Ian being on it with us!
