From the moment we phoned Reject my Car (after hearing their advert on the radio), we felt at ease knowing such a professional experienced company were dealing with our issue.
They successfully dealt with the car sales man, advising us what we should do, and to cut a long story short we went from thinking we were only going to get £200 from the scrappy for our car, to Reject my Car using the law to get us a nearly full refund of £5,000!!

Ian and the team at Reject My Car helped me in a years battle after buying a car with a multitude of faults from a dealer. I had felt lost after taking a bank loan to buy a second hand car and being left with the option of being heavily within the negative or shilling out thousands more to fix major issues that had occurred within the first few months of ownership.
After reaching out to Ian and the team, they had reassured that there were laws to protect me from these scenarios. Once I had accepted all I had to do was provide the information since purchase and Reject My Car done the rest.

Having purchased a new so called premium vehicle it turned out to be nothing like premium. The vehicle was problematic from the start and after 4 months enough was enough and I turned to Ian Ferguson at Rejectmycar to set in place the process to have the vehicle returned to the dealer. To be fair the dealer was very accommodating and Ian’s job was less of a trial than I expected and no doubt Ian’s. Nevertheless his expertise was invaluable in working with the dealer to negotiate a fair cost for fair wear and tear in the time I had the vehicle.
If you are in the unfortunate position to need an Automotive Dispute Champion, then Ian is your man. His wealth of knowledge in the automotive industry is priceless and I thank him for taking away the stress this matter was creating and bringing it to a successful completion.

I had came across Ian purely by luck and I was thankful everyday that he had safe my life from HELL.
I had bought the car only for 5 months before it broken down on the a school run for my disable child ( we are lucky to be alive) . We then going to a lengthy legal fight with the CROOK Dealer which seem to go nowhere . It had became more and more time consuming ( almost 2 years)and cost us more and more money with the court and the expert . I then being recommended to Ian( Rejectmycar ) from Rip off Britain . Now to start off I never leave reviews I’m not interested in that but the experience I had with Ian from Reject My Car was unbelievable. He was so helpful start to finish and was full of knowledge on what to say and do. He got so much organised and kept me informed whenever there was an update. The fact it’s no win no fee kept me at ease the the whole time as well, the fee at the end is extremely fair and well priced for the help you get. If anyone is having issues with their car and it’s on finance even if it’s after the return date it’s worth contacting Ian at Reject My Car!

We had many issues with a car that we bought from Arnold Clark. The final straw was when the timing belt snapped and Arnold Clark wanted the best part of £12k to fit a new engine. I thought all was lost until I found Ian at Rejectmycar. Ian managed to get a refund from Arnold Clark that far outweighed my expectations. Great service, thanks once again.

I had many premature faults with a Land Rover Discovery Sport, turbo boost went in a matter of weeks amongst other issues. I had it sitting on my drive by 4 months as the timing chain needed replacing, ridiculous! The dealer did not want to know, neither Land Rover. Determined to find a solution I searched the internet, on YouTube someone mentioned Ian and RejectMyCar. I was glad to learn Ian has a huge wealth of knowledge and experience. I sent an email that evening, which was the best decision I made. Ian was able to progress my issue and I got the resolution that I needed another excellent success.

I cannot recommend this company enough.
I was sold a faulty car on finance from Arnold Clark -the car was faulty on day of collection. I called to inform them to which I was told they would fix it and wasn't possible to exchange it. I explained that the car shouldn't need fixing the day I collect it. I got nowhere. They were given two opportunities to fix it which they didn't and still they would not let me reject it telling me to take it back in.
After months I found reject my car online. Ian and Robyn took over my case and dealt with Arnold Clark and the Finance Company direct on my behalf. Ian and Robyn took so much stress off me and within weeks the car had been rejected and I was refunded. I would still be batteling with Arnold Clark now if I hadn't found Reject My Car. Ian knows what he is doing and I am grateful to him and Robyn for what they did.
I can not recommend Reject My Car enough, they're reasonably priced too which is always s bonus.

I’ll be as brief as I can - we were dumped by SEAT - the dealership Barlow’s and Arnold Clark ‘it’s just a diagnostic issue’ after 9 months of this debacle where our SEAT Arona (1yr old) habitually violently stalled while driving (no one injured thankfully) towed several times - we were stressed - lost with nowhere to go - then rip off Britain had Ian Ferguson on and we never looked back - it took a few months to sort out but the car went back to the dealership and we got a full refund - the extra compensation we were awarded paid for reject my cars fees and our nightmare was over- words cannot describe how grateful we are to Ian Ferguson / reject my car

I can't recommend Ian and his team enough! I discovered my car had been previously modified which meant the warranty was void. The thought of a expensive Italian car with no warranty is a scary prospect.
After contacting Ian, he always replied quickly, in detail and a language that was easy to understand. The information Ian provided allowed me to make a sensible decision.
Thanks to Ian, I am returning my car for a full refund and reimbursement of my costs.

What can I say. My engine went on a drive to work in my BMW 640d. I only had the car 5 months. BMW quoted £17,000 to replace the engine!!! Car cost me £21k. My warranty had expired as I was only given 3 months ?????? Called the garage and they weren’t interested. As you can imagine my heart sank. I thought there was absolutely nothing I could do. I’d looked at reconditioned engines £7k. I felt physically sick that in this day and age you would have to swallow such a huge bill with no fault of your own. Then my dad actually saw Ian from reject my car on the TV. On the rip off Britain show. I had nothing to loose. I called Ian straight away and he instantly put me at ease. Told me I would win my case, explained his fees right at the start ( which I felt were very reasonable) and would be on a no win no fee basis. It was a no brainer. This was my light at the end of the tunnel. So after a few months I am delighted to share that Ian, Robert and the team at “Reject my car “ got me a result I was absolutely delighted with.The car was picked up by the dealership and I was given almost a full refund I can’t tell you enough how relieved I am. I feel so lucky to have come across Reject my car and cannot rate them high enough. The motoring world can be a horrible one but it is nice to know there is help out there.

If you have car trouble and your dealer or finance company don’t want to know about then look no further. I unfortunately found myself in this exact situation as my Q7 suffered engine failure among other issues in my one year of ownership. I was passed to Ian by a service manager for a well known company so they know exactly who he is and what he does (Gets results). I had started the ball rolling on my own case but after a short conversation with Ian I had absolutely no doubt in my mind I would be in safe hands by passing on my case for him and his team to take care of and that they did and very smoothly I must say they don’t mess about they know what needs done and they do it to get the result you are entitled too and deserve and I can’t rate or thank Ian and team enough for everything throughout my case. Extremely professional and efficient as I started off if you have car trouble and you aren’t getting anywhere with the dealer or finance pick up the phone and call Ian you won’t be disappointed.

Couldn’t recommend enough
I recommended Ian to a good friend and client who was looking for a replacement pre-owned car. After some searching (and help from myself) they had found a 2-year-old Tiguan from a national main dealer group in the north of England.
Photographs and descriptions were all good and the vehicle was dully purchased with various promises of its condition and preparation. On this occasion I spent some time with them advising on dotting the I's and crossing the T's in advance of its delivery.
In fairness to the dealer the deal was good but when the vehicle arrived....Oh! Lordy!!
Straight away the faults (numerous paint defects, car smells overpoweringly of smoke, damaged interior trims, including roof, scratches on the dashboard and infotainment system.. All things that can't be seen on a photograph.BTW this was a £20k plus used car from a "reputable" main dealer.
Anyway...straight away, we contacted Ian who picked up the ball on our behalf and kept us right on the exact procedure for rejecting the car.
(PS Although this was a distance sale e.g. 14 day cooling-off period, you MUST STILL GET ADVICE to make sure you do the correct things in the correct sequence!!)
Anyway with a bit of hand holding from Ian, status quo was returned, all refunded, finance cleared and a delighted customer.
Point of the story..the dealers know who he is, they know when he gets involved it's not going to be pretty if the customer is not looked after appropriately.
Ian has some of the best legal minds in the business on his team and is a true consumer champion.
