We cannot thank Ian and his team enough for their help and support in resolving the issues we had with our Nissan Navara.
We purchased the car in April 2022, and in March 2023 we experienced a catastrophic engine failure.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer warranty was a couple of weeks out of date.
We took the vehicle to the local Nissan garage where they quoted us £17,000 for a new engine.
We tried everything we could think of to resolve the issue, contacting Nissan directly, Arnold Clark where we purchased the vehicle from, the finance company and the ombudsman but nobody was willing to help.
We thought our luck had run out and we were going to have to pay for a vehicle that wasn’t fit for purpose for the remaining 4 years of the finance.
It was by chance that we heard about Ian and his team, so thought we’d give it a go and see what happened. We didn’t get our hopes up due to being left disappointed by the other companies, but Ian and his team have gone above and beyond and have gotten us out of a messy situation!
Ian arranged for an independent engineer to visit and inspect the vehicle, who informed us just how bad things really were with the vehicle.
We left Ian and his team to work their magic, corresponding with the appropriate people and we have just received an impressive settlement, minus Ian’s fees (which are more than reasonable) and a mileage cost paid to the finance company.
Ian and his team are all very responsive and are genuinely worth their weight in gold.
Ian was even responding to our emails whilst being unwell in hospital.
We genuinely cannot thank Ian enough for getting us out of this absolute nightmare!

I bought a car in Oct 2022 and within a fortnight it had failed to start on several occasions and then finally cut out while I was driving. The AA couldn’t get me going again and the car was towed to the dealer. At that stage I said I didn’t want the car back, I followed the advice from consumer Scotland regarding returning the car and also had a solicitor write to the dealer. I didn’t get anywhere and I had thought I was going to have to accept the faulty unreliable car back. I was at my wits end, the stress this was causing me was so intense. I approached Reject my car at the end of July 2023 and had a full refund by the beginning of September.2023. I wish I’d known about them sooner, I could’ve saved myself almost a years misery.

In December 2022 I purchased an Audi RS3 from a supposedly reputable local car dealership.
In the months that followed, I went through what I can only describe as a living nightmare - discovering that the vehicle had been clocked and using oil excessively. The dealership went into 'ignore' mode presumably to discourage me from pursuing them further. I followed the steps outlined by Citizens Advice to no avail, and the high value of the vehicle meant that legal action would be a very costly and lengthy process (which I had no experience of).
From the moment I contacted Reject My Car in May 2023, I felt at ease knowing that my case was in the hands of experts. When they took me on as a client they acted on my behalf and took over all communication with the (very difficult and slippery) dealership, which up until this point had been one way traffic. The team got the dealer to cooperate. After an inspection, several curveballs from the dealer, an instruction to begin litigation, and Ian's negotiations for a fair settlement, three months after instructing Reject My Car I had a full refund of the purchase price in my bank account.
If you are reading this because you are thinking of instructing Reject My Car, I would not hesitate to do so. From my personal experience, Ian and his team will fight tooth and nail for you to get the very best possible outcome. They are a highly experienced set of people with access to a wide range of experts all across the UK, and have vast expertise in Consumer Law and litigation. We contacted Iain last year at our wits end - we have bought a 3 year car from a massive dealer who left us stranded for hours on the motorway with an elderly disabled relative due to catastrophic engine failure. This dealer then tried to charge us £7500 to put in a new engine even though they couldn’t tell us what actually caused the failure. It took a while due to this retailer and the finance company digging their heels in however Iain got us the result we were hoping for and we now don’t have the stress. he is very professional and very good at his Job, I bought a brand new motor home that had major issues including different coloured panels were it had previously been repaired, after a fight of about 6 weeks with the dealer trying to get it rejected, I contacted Ian with all the information, and within 48 hours of Ian taking over he got the result we needed :)

So I purchased a 2 year old Mercedes with just 27k on the clock, from a well known mass retailer. Problems started early on with cracked wheels losing air but just days out of warranty we had complete braking system failure, collapsed rear suspension and a number of electrical malfunctions. Retailer response was appalling.
Contacted RejectMyCar.com and following an engineer's report and data from Mercedes, the car should never have passed Merc standards for a used vehicle when I purchased it. Apparently the previous owner had driven it continually overloaded.
Retailer caved within days of being approached by RejectMyCar.com and I was refunded the full purchase price of the car less a mileage charge.
My feeling is that RejectMyCar.com is a much needed public service, especially in this day and age where “they don’t make ‘em like they used to”.

I recently purchased a recovery truck from a company in England, which ended up having engine issues resulting in the vehicle being unfit for use/purpose. The dealer that I purchased the vehicle from supplied a re-conditioned engine, which also turned out to be faulty and thereafter refused to help or take the vehicle back.
At this point, I contacted Reject My Car to try and help with the situation.
From start to finish, Louise was very helpful and ensured that we had a strong case against the defendant.
In the end, Reject My Car managed to get me a full refund and we returned the vehicle to the dealer. Without their help, I don't think this outcome would have been possible and I am extremely grateful for their help and expertise.
I would highly recommend this company for anyone in a similar situation having purchased a faulty vehicle.

What can I say……. Never left a review before on anything but just feel as if I need to on this occasion. Contacted Ian after getting a new car that only lasted for 5 months before the engine went and getting nowhere with the car dealer. Ian explained everything to me in detail (very knowledgeable) which resulted in a positive outcome!!! Where do I start.....If anyone finds themselves in the same position as I did with a garage that sold them a faulty vehicle, but then get the cold shoulder from the garage, don't stress or lose hope.
I recently bought what should have been my dream car, an Audi Q7 from a garage in Kent on the 30/12/2022. A car advertised as a Quality Assured Vehicle with 104 checks having been carried out on it. I spent over 12k on this car (Most I have ever spent), which included an extended warranty that I had also purchased from the garage and was told was a comprehensive warranty.
Not even 24 hours later, an oil leak was noticed and not to go into a longwinded speech here, after an independent inspection from an Audi dealer, it was found to have over 9k of repairs needed.
My calls and emails were ignored by the garage, and no real help from the warranty company.
After contacting citizens advice, I was advised to go via the trading standards route, so sent a rejection letter to the garage, which was again ignored.
I couldn't find a solicitor to deal with things and thought that all was lost....That is until I was informed of reject my car.
I contacted them and spoke with Louise from RMC, who straight away put me at ease.
It was only after Louise getting involved that the garage eventually started responding.
Now, this was not an easy process, not only for myself but also Louise, having to deal with the garages unwillingness to make things right, excuses after excuses, blatant lies and just trying to play hardball.
What I can say is, after what seemed like an eternity, Louise eventually got back in touch with me, informing me that the garage had eventually relented, and had now agreed to pay back all my money for the car, warranty, admin fee, inspections and for them to also collect the car.
So from going from being out of pocket over 12k and having scrap, I now have enough to go out again and purchase another car, this time from local dealer. Decent.
They are well worth the money in my opinion, and Louise, well you are amazing, and I cant thank you enough.
For anyone who finds themselves in the same position as I did, give Reject My Car a call.....You will not be disappointed.

we had trouble with a new car we bought from a Peugeot dealer and from day 1 ther the car had a fault that they couldn't fix even the main dealer Peugeot in France couldn't fix and as they had the car for over 3 weeks and getting no where we rejected the car as we were within the 30 day period which allows you to reject the car and get a full refund but they wouldn't accept the car as they said it wasn't a mechanical fault and wouldn't give us our money back so my wife has a friend who gave her the REJECT MY CAR company their phone number so we called them and spoke to Louise and she told us what we had to do first and after that geet back to them so we did that sent emails to everyone involved in the situation and the got in touch with Louise and had to send her copies of all the documentation and emails that was sent and she then spoke to Ian about the situation and as it was getting close to the 30 day cut of point he took the case on imidiately and what a surprise after waiting nearly 6 weeks without a car due the negative respond from the Peugeot dear and main dealership within 3 weeks we got our money back which allowed us to get another new car and without the help and advice we got from Louise and Ian we might still be sitting with no car so yes if anyone reads this and needs help with anything I would advise you to give them a call and like us there will be light at the end of the tunnel I give them 10 stars and this is a genuine review thank you Ian and louise ((REJECT MY CAR. What can I say? Ian worked relentlessly to secure my refund for a Golf R I bought that turned out to be stolen. It did take a while, but this was due to the Insurance Company dragging their heels and not admitting they were in the wrong. Now after 8 months I have a full refund, including the px. Very reasonable costs for all the hard work....would highly recommend.
