Ian and his team fought for me all the way to the courtroom to seek resolution for a dodgy - and in my opinion dangerous - MG4 electric car sold by Gillanders Motors.
The battle lasted almost two years, during a very difficult time where I lost people close to me. Without the experience and grit of Ian and the team I would not have been able to persevere.
The Consumer Rights Act 2015 is very clear in setting out the criteria and timeframes in seeking recourse for unsatisfactory goods - but what if a company simply refuse? Pursuing them legally through the courts is the only recourse, which takes time and can be very costly - and these companies know this only too well.
I'm truly grateful and thankful to Ian's team, my Solicitor (Robert), and Advocate (Jonathan) for getting me the result. Thank-you all.

I bought a car through Peter Vardy and right from the start it did not feel right after being back and forward with Peter Vardy in and out of the garage spending money on repairs and getting no further forward I thought I didn’t have a leg to stand on.
Until I came across Reject My Car, my handler a lovely laddie named Sally was exceptional throughout the process she helped me get back on the road with a car while my case was being handled and made the process a lot less stressful. Sally was absolutely fantastic and I cannot thank her and the team enough!

I bought a new car in September from a Volkswagen Garage. It seemed rather clunky to drive but on the first couple of days I thought that was because it was a new car. After a day or so I noticed that the windows were opening of their own volition. The car was behaving very oddly. Sometimes it would respond and could be driven, but sometimes it just didn’t respond at all. After a few days of this bizarre behaviour it stopped on the road, and a number of warning signs came up on the dashboard. My daughter who was with me contacted Volkswagen Assist and they sent out an AA technician. He plugged in his computer and diagnosed 14 faults. He said that the car must be returned to the garage immediately, which it was with AA support. Initially the garage said they could find nothing wrong with the car, but after further examination it appeared that there was an electrical fault which was causing the problems. After a week or so I was informed that the car was repaired and ready for collection, but as there had been so many problems over the six days the car had been in my ownership, I asked the garage to repurchase the vehicle and refund my payment. When the garage initially refused my request and tried to persuade me to keep the car I contacted Ian at Reject My Car, and he agreed to take on my case. Ian, Sally and Rhiannon were wonderful, very efficient and helpful. I had to provide the evidence as requested which I did. With Reject my car on my case the garage agreed to repurchase the car and refunded my payment.

Honestly I can’t praise these guys enough they are absolutely brilliant , very proactive and professional . I purchased a 3.0l jag f pace and after 4 months had a complete engine failure , was told it wasn’t covered under warrantee and got quoted with a £25,000 repair bill for a new engine and labour. I contacted reject my car and If it wasn’t for Campbell and the team I’d be bankrupt right now and out on the streets . Well where do I start
I bought a van from Peter Vardy ( carz )
In March 2023 the turbo failed in June 2023 Peter Vardy said they’ll replace the turbo which I was happy with, I was due to pick the van up about 6 weeks later but the full engine failed when they tested it on the day I was due to pick it up . Once I heard of this I wanted the van rejected but Peter Vardy said it’s classed as one fault and they have an opportunity to fix the problem 8 months past still no van and 100s of calls and emails later I had enough of the non responses from Peter Vardy I contacted REJECT MY CAR and I wish I done it months ago .
Sally & Margo my case handlers were absolutely amazing .
I will definitely be using reject my car in the future and will never use Peter Vardy (carz) ever again the aftercare I received was shocking .

I contacted Reject my car after a friend recommended the company. They helped me get out of my PCP agreement with ease and finally allowed us to move on from the car and the dealership. This didn’t affect my credit rating.
Following my purchasing of a brand new car in October 2023 with a PCP agreement I had nothing but bother within the first month with Engine Warning lights displaying and the car breaking down. The dealership had 3x opportunities with my car to fix it but the problem would reoccur and I lost faith in the car. I contacted Reject my car in March 2024 (6 months after purchasing the car - 6 months of hell and trying to fight with the dealership and finance company to have my car handed back).
Following an initial telephone conversation with Reject my Car we followed up with various emails to gather the most information we could to proceed but once I signed up to have them advocate for me I had absolutely zero hassle. Up until I contacted Reject my car I had exhausted my ability to fight with the dealership and finance company - my own first appeal to the finance company to have them take back the car was not upheld and I was told there was no more they could do. The car dealership were very unhelpful and I had many stressful, tearful moments over the first 5 months of owning this new car.
Reject my car were able to take over all the communications with the finance company and on my behalf they won my case to Reject the car!
I gave them at Authority to Act in March and by July 2024 the car was returned to the finance company and we got our deposit back including payments we had been making on the new car, a roaring success!
For all there were times I didn’t hear from Reject my car they would reply promptly to my emails when I was looking for updates and reassured me that there was always ongoing work behind the scenes from them on my behalf. They also gave me a courtesy car which was a lifesaver.
I am so grateful to Ian, Sally, Margo, Craig and all the team for their help. Their professionalism and dedication was outstanding. I visited their office also twice and they were all so lovely. What a great job they are all doing.
It is definitely worth contacting them to see if you have a case worth fighting for and to discuss all the financial outlays to see if financially it is affordable for you, but for us, we thought it was worth it as our main goal was to be released from the PCP agreement.

What can I say, I contacted reject my car on the 30/11/23 regarding a car I bought in June 23 and the engine failed on the 30th of November 23, I was told to contact reject my car.com to which I did on the 30/11/23 and told them what had happened to me. Reject my car told me this was a case for them and confidently told me they would win my case for me. Roll on 9 months later my car was picked up today and fully reimbursement of all my payments for car and all my expenses are now getting paid back to me. When this happens to you the first thing we do is say what do I do next, please when I say this I am talking the truth, contact Ian or Margo at rejectmycar.com they will take everything off your hands and work realy hard to get you a result for you, it can take a while like my case and as Ian said to me all cases are different so please please give them a call for there help you won’t regret it I promise you. I bought my first car through finance from a dodgy dealership and of course it broke down just after 32 days. I had no paper work to tax the broken down vehicle and it was clamped and towed by the DVLA. Absolute nightmare from the start until I reached out to reject my car. Ian and the team took it on straight away and told me I didn't have to worry anymore and he was right, 2 months from the day they took on my case and I am finally free of the car and all the stress that came with it. I had purchased a volkswagon troc from arnold clark on November 2023 & car had been plagued with issues ( new clutch 4 weeks in, smoke appearing from underneath engine, massive oil leak on engine after clutch repaired). After dealing with arnold clarks dalmarnock dealership, customer services & head office, i was getting absolutely nowhere. Arnold clark like usual, taking no responsibility & refusing to reject the car even with the evidence i had provided. Got in contact with reject my car & in total contrast to AC, have been super professional, excellent customer service & battled with Arnold Clark & Toyota to get rejection on car completed. Special mention to margo blane who helped every step of the way. After arnold clark agreed rejection, Toyota finance had been being really unhelpful in releasing the payments made on Car. Margo provided weekly updates & battled away with a really unhelpful toyota & got them to release the payments. Dont hesitate to let reject my car take on your case, they know how to get the case won

I bought a Toyota Rav 4 2020 hybrid off Arnold Clark in August 2023 with the suspension progressively getting worse the longer it was driven. I informed them that the car was unsafe to drive but ultimately ended up being ignored. I spent a fortune at Toyota, local garages, mobile mechanics and various tire shops trying to get to the root of the problem. After randomly checking out the vast service paperwork/history stored in the glovebox 7 months after purchase low and behold it turned out the car was in a major wreck a couple of months before I took ownership of it. Still the dealership was not interested with it now being over the 6 month period for trading standards. A engineer checked over the car once I contacted Rejectmycar and started pointing out a very extensive list of dangerous damage on the car. A refund/settlement was reached with Arnold Clark/Toyota and I received payment 11 weeks after the car was picked up solely due to Toyotas incompetence! It should have been 4 weeks maximum but a catalogue of mistakes by Toyota kept it going a lot longer than it should have. I will never take finance out with Toyota again due to the experience I had with them. To my shock the car is currently relisted for sale with a fresh MOT on their website. A special shout out to Ian and Margo for getting me justice in the end!
