Complete scammers. Doing churn and burn tactics with companies for probably tax dodge. Common man can’t do this they know how to ripoff people and scam

4 years ago I started straightening my teeth with this Company, because they took the money in the middle of the treatment I was blocked and forgotten, they did not send me to continue the treatment, the office in Holborn, London was moved so I gave money to no one and I was lied to, I am very disappointed with them

My teeth weren't straight. However I know what I'm doing, and I took them to the small claims court and got every pound back ££££ always communicate via email. The staff were rude and clueless. Don't get a whole box delivered, try correcting your teeth virtually, and ever pay upfront. We all learn from mistakes. Check it is the real Invisalign and insured.

The company has now changed their name to Dr Smile, of which have absolutely no interest in helping what so ever when i told them my teeth werent straight, i asked for a refinement to be told that they now dont even operate in the UK anymore!!! Leaving us UK patients with absolutely no aftercare options at all, - AVOID AT ALL COSTS AS MY TEETH STILL ARENT STRAIGHT - and when i tell them this youre basically told that youve finished treatment so nothing they can do

This company now goes as Dr Smile. Please do not the rebranding trick you.
They did not straighten my teeth and I was not the right candidate for aligners. Yet they still took my money and now I have even more dental problems as a result. Irreversible dental problems that were caused by this treatment. Please do not use.

Years later I am still being chased for money for when Plusdent sent me two aligners that were both wrongly made and unfit to wear.

I tried to reason with them for a refund but refused to work with me. Got a rightful refund from the bank and they are still trying to take money from my account.

I am truly disgusted and disturbed by your behaviour - I really have tried to work with you and you tried to fight me and still are. What is wrong with the people of the company?

Dirty, disgusting and unfair. I was 23 having to deal with a bully ass company trying to take my money for aligners that I could not use. Very troubling and disturbing behaviour for a well known company.

All I ask for you is to leave me alone for Godsake.

Badly planned and executed IPR as well as aligners stopped helping me at around 35% of the treatment. Nonexistent customer support, to have an answer for one simple query over email you have to wait 3 week or spend a whole day on hold with their automated system.

I had my treatment for invisible braces 2 years ago now. I needed new retainers and did not realize that plusdent was changed to Dr Smile, so I thought I should have no issues ordering my retainers from them. However they just no, they are not able to assist me, which is really terrible. They said if I had voucher that I had paid for through plusdent they would need proof of purchase to issue a refund but would not assist with new retainers. When I was going through the treatment with plusdent it took 2 different sets of braces for them to finally get the correct treatment and now that I've got them as straight as they can be, I'm not able to carry on maintaining them and worried my teeth are going to start moving. Not happy about the poor service at all.

Exactly the same as many recent reviews. Results not as promised, and they failed to inform me they would be terminating the business.
No response from Dr Smile yet either, pure fraud.

I started my treatment with PlusDent last year, and was due to finish by September 2022. I then found out that the company had been bought out and none of my treatment plan outline was available anywhere. I haven't had any contact from anyone about what happens next, and my aligners haven't fully fixed my teeth despite wearing for the full time and changing in accordance with instructions. I had an email from Dr Smile saying their partner had tried to contact me but I've never had any calls.

Also same issue as below - they fixed my teeth to about 80% and I have done THREE replacement aligners and emailed to complain, but have got nothing back since they were taken over by Dr Smile.

Im having the same issue as the last review. Absolute joke! Would like to know if anybody has heard back from Dr Smile

Ordered my alignment treatment in Dec 2021 after going to some dodgy dental practice in Birmingham.

I did not wear my aligners after having braces so a few of my teeth had turned back to where they were when I was a child. Nothing to bad but enough to make me want to fix it as an adult.

Original price was £1800 but I waited out for the special offers to come and they did. Got a text every other week with more and more money off and eventually discounted my treatment to £900.

Ordered in December and it arrived in late Jan.

The kit was pretty good and over the 16 weeks it mostly corrected my teeth.
Unfortunately I did not get to as good as a result as they claimed so I emailed them.
They said go back a few retainers and that will do it.
Well I am at the end again and it is just the same.
My bite is also a bit off. My rear teeth clamp down but where the retainers have been, there is a gap. So my teeth no longer bite down correctly.

Now they have been taken over by Dr Smile so I can not get in touch with them.
Going to see what Dr Smile and my dentist say and will will update.

Steer clear!!
Absolutely shocking service. My treatment plan was for 6 months, almost 2 years later, I still haven't finished my treatment.

Signed up with a local branch in Birmingham which has since been closed down and I now have to travel to Liverpool - was told the travel cost would be reimbursed, I have never received this. Have been trying to book a second appointment since November with no success and havent been able to progress steps because of this. Was told to contact early Jan to get a Saturday slot but have now been told that they cannot help me. The Plusdent app has been disabled along with any contact numbers to speak with Plusdent directly.

Finished the first treatment plan and there was little change to my teeth, I specifically said my main concern was a top tooth sticking out in front, this has not been resolved and they have spent more time on the bottom teeth which were straighter then the top!

I can't stress enough, please use a different service for aligners!

Do not ever listen to the positive reviews, do not listen to Instagrammers who say this product works. It’s nonsense it DOES NOT WORK!!

Plus Dent are a nameless, faceless company who will not support your “progress” or lack of! They just take your money and there’s no support and the trays don’t work, are painful and can damage your teeth - they have damaged mine.

Please go to Invisalign as they are amazing, I know they cost more but it’s worth it! Or even train tracks are better than Plus Dent. In fact not doing anything to your teeth is better than Plus Dent.

I’m my opinion it’s a massive scam and they are thieves. Be warned!

Absolutely appalling service. Promised when signing that I would be getting whitening and fixed retainers which was what made me go with PlusDent in the first place. Told mid-treatment that they were discontinuing this. Offered no compensation for this and still didn’t receive any refund. Finished treatment and my teeth are still wonky.

Shocking service.

Originally I was quoted under 4 months to straighten my teeth and now I am 1 year and 7 months later with teeth that are not straight, but what is worse is that they moved my teeth around so now they do not align when I close my mouth. This causes so much discomfort in my jaw which is continuously inflamed and clicks. I cannot chew my food properly as only a few teeth connect when biting. This has been an issue for almost a year. Now that Dr Smile has taken over they have not given me treatment for over 3 months. I have asked for my money back as they are not providing the treatment agreed but they refuse. I am desperate to receive a refund so I can afford to fix my teeth and FINALLY be free from this jaw pain that they caused. I am stuck because without a refund I cannot afford to fix their mistakes. I am disheartened that a company can be so cruel.

Absolutely horrendous company. Was told 5 months it has now been over a year and a half. They take weeks sometimes months to reply and try Their best to avoid helping you and giving you their “smile guarantee”. Still waiting for a response from them can’t wait to get this over with and never go near them again. AVOID

I am not sure how this company earned 4 stars, I would give them -1 if I could (some customer service members were trying to help though).
My experience with this product/service has been absolutely awful abeyond und stressful. Two-years and two months into the "treatment" and after 1 refinement and 1 retainer refinement, I am still waiting for correct retainers. I am so fed up, I have lost lots of weight during this process, the retainers they have sent me cracked my teeth and as many people here commented on their bite, mine just doesn't feel right either.
I have asked them for a full compensation but they are refusing and instead they are sending me for another refinement which I obviously refused.
People please read these comments! THIS PRODUCT IS NOT WORKING/ it is NOT WORTH THE COST AT ALL.

This is me writing a review about 6/7 months after my treatment.
They did work for the most part. However the aligners made my crown come off my front tooth which I had not long paid for. I was told they wouldn’t effect the crown but they did. The retainers didn’t fit and ended up snapping as I was almost forcing them in. They told me to go back a step so I done this for about 4 weeks but it become pointless as the aligner was so loose. The retainers still didn’t fit as the teeth just hadn’t been adjusted enough from previous aligners. The response from the company become pretty much non existent after afew complaints from myself. They did straighten most of my teeth however not the more severely crossed ones. In hindsight it’s 100% Not worth 2k of anyones money.
