Results marked as ready but not accessible

I am reporting a repeated system failure with Labcorp OnDemand results access.

For the second time, my Labcorp OnDemand test results were marked as “Results are ready,” yet the results were not accessible. Clicking “View Results” consistently led to a blank page, across mobile devices and browsers. The results were technically released but functionally unavailable.

This is not a user error. The issue is reproducible and appears to be a system-level failure, where results are flagged as ready before the PDF is actually accessible to the patient.

This creates a serious problem for patients who:
pay for tests out of pocket,
rely on timely access to their medical information,
are given a false indication that results are available when they are not.

Marking results as “ready” without ensuring accessibility undermines trust in the platform and causes unnecessary confusion for patients.

I strongly recommend that Labcorp:
ensure results are not labeled as “ready” until they are fully accessible,
implement a fallback delivery method (such as automatic email delivery) when the portal fails.

This issue has now occurred more than once and should be addressed to prevent continued impact on patients.

What they don’t reveal in their glossy introductions is… they test on defenceless animals…

Complaint

Complaint: Poor Customer Service at Labcorp, San Mateo, CA
I visited the Labcorp office at 101 S San Mateo Dr, San Mateo, CA, for routine lab work. Upon presenting my paperwork to the front desk staff, it was immediately rejected as an "after-visit summary" without further review. I was asked to leave and return to my doctor, who confirmed the order was already in Labcorp's system. The staff member did not check the system, resulting in a significant waste of time as I had to make multiple trips. This experience reflects a lack of diligence and poor customer service. I urge Labcorp to ensure staff verify orders thoroughly, handle patient interactions professionally, and take appropriate disciplinary measures with the employee responsible to prevent such issues in the future. Labcorp Jenkintown PA refused me service


July 21, 2025 at 1:30 pm.

Horrible experience with front desk staff. I was refused service. I have been getting my annual blood tests since 2013 at other Labcorp locations. This site had an open appointment. They asked me 7 times if I was fasting. Asked if I was sure. Answered yes. When they couldn't dismiss me for that, found a test on my list that can "not be done in the afternoon," must be done upon waking up. Told them I work nights and this is my "morning." Still refused. Told them to call my doctor - they "don't talk to doctors." Told them my past 19 cortisol tests were all done in afternoons. They wanted me to return in morning after a 12 hour night shift. I reminded them, they just told me "it must be done upon waking up." They are not consistent, rude, ignorant, and tell me "no supervisors work afternoons." I will follow up with the PA Dept of Health and check on their CLIA certification with the Centers for Medicare Services.

I want to know when Labcorp started…

I want to know when Labcorp started threatening their customers. Because when I am advised that unless I provide a credit card to have needed services rendered, they will not serve me. THAT IS A THREAT!! But moreover, the document that they have you sign has no monetary value on it so they can charge you anything they want because your signature just approved it.
This has happened to me twice. Labcorp has charged me without providing me an itemized bill for my review. And I have insurance. And they charged my bank card both times on a Saturday so that there is no one on staff that can properly assist you. I know because I called Labcorp’s customer service. Then because I said that I am sure that I could get legal assistance, HER SUPERVISOR REFUSED TO SPEAK TO ME! This is how Labcorp treats people. Instead of taking my call and de-escalating the situation and offering to help, they refused my call offering nothing but an email address to the legal team.
How about acting like a real supervisor and doing your job. Take the call, find out what happened and de-escalate. This whole call just showed me how unprofessional and uncaring your company really is. Shady Saturday transactions, skeleton staff, unwilling employees to do their job. None of this makes for good business.
I would NEVER recommend Labcorp to anyone. It is a shame because Labcorp use to be a nice place to get your services done. NOT ANYMORE.

Labcorp Post Falls ID - avoid

Labcorp is a negligent, shabby, low budget, poorly run business that treats their customers/patients with indifference, disrespect and hostility.

One of my wife's medical providers uses Labcorp to perform laboratory work including blood draws. She was directed to Labcorp for a blood draw. We had difficulty in locating the nearest Labcorp site as no street address the provided on the medical orders and the provided directions were inadequate. We returned to the provider and obtained a map with the Labcorp address. The map, an inadequate photo copy, had Labcorp's street address most of the other details were not reproduced on the copy.

We finally located the Labcorp site by looking at street addresses on each building. Labcorp neglected to display the customary business sign that could be easily seen by passing traffic. Labcorp did have a 8.5X11 inch sheet of paper stuck on a widow entitled “Labcorp”. A faded cloth banner was next to the building and “Labcorp” could be read backwards thru the faded cloth.

Upon entering a small Labcorp reception area we saw another customer/patient using some kind of touch screen device for required data and displaying obvious frustration and anxiety. My wife has difficulty in standing and using the touch screen would be impossible because of its height. I went to the touch screen and started to enter data. No easy to read instructions were provided like to have driver license and med insurance cards available for scanning. Directions for scanning were inadequate. I am 86 years old and has carpal tunnel problems and has problems with touch screens that have extremely small, closely spaced touch areas. An example would be the approximate .25 square inch areas for alpha numeric data entry. Finally some assistance was provided. I am a 86 year old Viet Nam veteran who has hearing problems. The supervisory Labcorp employee perfunctorily tapped on a key board during this process and refused to answer any of my wife's questions. Finally, another LabCorp employee appeared and used the touch screen to enter the required data.

After the touch screen process I went to the entry area and looked into a space that had numerous chairs having arm rests used for blood draws there was no privacy screening. I suspected various building code violations in addition to lack of customer/patient privacy. I had no intention of entering that space but could have easily done so, no lock or privacy screens on door window. The supervisory Labcorp employee stopped the keyboard tapping to yell at me - STOP. There were no other customers/patients in the waiting room.

The supervisory Labcorp employee spoke to my wife in an rapid impatient tone some times having her back turned to her while moving about.

My wife is 87 years old and was beginning to feel shaky. She needed some water and asked for a cup of water. From a past experience she feared the blood draw could not be performed because of dehydration causing vein changes and asked for water. Finally, they were going to bring her a cup of water but only after they finished their routines - neglect for patient welfare.

The tension and stress caused by enforced compliance to rigid office policies and procedures combined with possible blood drawing injuries caused her distress. The indifferent attitude of hostility and impatience shown by the Labcorp supervisory employee added to her distress.

She has frequent medical provider visits including blood draws over the past 20-30 years but this trip to Labcorp marks the very bottom or worst of all. We came to Labcorp bearing insurance cards guaranteeing payment in $ yet she was treated as if she was imposing on some pleasant daily expected Labcorp routine where $ flowed in without any efforts expended. If Labcorp was not connected to her medical provider we would avoid them like any other dysfunctional shabby business.

Avoid Labcorp - Understaffed

In the past, like several months ago, Labcorp at this Boca Raton, FL location was correctly staffed and operated professionally. Currently one technician does everything and appointments no longer mean anything. Tried Monday, and as of 1 hour past appointment time, there was still a wait, so I left and rescheduled for Wednesday. Then again after an hour past appointment time technician indicated an estimate of another 30 minutes. Left again. My patience with this location has run out. My guess is that one should consider going to Labcorp in Boca Raton if you can invest several hours waiting with an appointment. On the other hand if you have someplace to be, avoid this place. Understaffed and Labcorp corporate doesn't seem interested in fixing the problem. Hopefully if more people avoid this place one technician will be able to do it all.

Improper Sample Handling Suspected

Recently I dropped off a 24 hour urine test that had not resulted or appeared on my account after 1 week. When I contacted them, I was told I could request preliminary results. I had to repeat this after another week or two and again requested preliminary results. Each time I did I received results as requested. Then days later the last portion of the test was determined to be not testable related to elevated PH level from improper storage. The PH level should have been tested earlier in my opinion and as far as improper storage the sample was refrigerated as instructed. That indicates to me that it was likely improperly handling at the LabCorp facility. I have also had a provider as well as a form LabCorp employee tell me that they prefer Quest due to repeated similar issues. Since providing Quest a new sample I have had no similar issues and receive my results as they are tested and do not have to request preliminary each time. I am frustrated at having to repeat a complicated test, as well as the costs incurred.

Better Block Them

They have lots of appealing studies that pay grands of pounds; however you don't get it. First of all, why would they ask your every single details of your ID, and they keep your data forever, no policy in hand, does not comply with any regulations etc, so better block them.

Customer service is terrible

Customer service is terrible, the receptionist was very rude and ill-mannered to me. They gave me the results late, they don't post the results on the patient portal. I will never go back to that place. I went to the Santa Clara office. I recommend that you don't go there.

Millions of animals each year including horses, beagles, cats, rabbits, pigs rats and mice.

This business' billing department is…

This business' billing department is either fraud or extremely incompetent. No idea why my doctor's office switched to labcorp, but I am getting fed up and thinking of hiring a lawyer at this point.

This is the third time I get an invoice for full payment of a lab test, although I have premium PPO insurance, and although it was paid in full by my insurance.

Called labcorp billing department, first they couldn't find the invoice number, this arrogant woman asked me to repeat the number for 4 times, then spell my name, repeat birthdate, phone number, address, put me on hold, then told me she found the invoice and it was paid by my insurance but then they reversed the charge and took the money back.
?!?

Called back my insurance, they told me there was no such thing, the claim was finalized, invoice paid, and they would never reverse a charge, that was ridiculous.

Insurance lady opens a case to investigate why labcorp is claiming they took the money back, as that was unacceptable. She tells me to call labcorp and ask them to contact my insurance to discuss the invoice payment, and provide evidence it was not paid.

Called labcorp back again, on hold again, cornelia answered and sounded like I bothered her while she was enjoying a pizza and some vodka in front of the TV. Got through the same info spelling, repeating, address, phone number, name, date of birth, she sounded totally preoccupied with something else, could not find the invoice number, put me on hold, then she tells me there is a balance and I have to pay it.

I am there explaining again that the insurance paid it already, she tells me it was not paid and I need to give them the date of payment and proof. I tell her that is not my business, they need to call my insurance and discuss this. She tells me she is not going to call my insurance and hung up.

I called them back, was extremely upset at this point, britany answers, same arrogant voice and attitude ( no idea who these women think they are), and here we go again, name, address, spelling, invoice number not found, minutes on hold, found the invoice, tells me it was not paid by insurance.

I am aggravated and told her that I did not appreciate them hanging up on me, the rude tone, and not even try to fix the problem, she talks over me, I am infuriated as I had spent the entire morning doing this, and she hangs up on me again.

How to these people get hired, and why are they kept on jobs with this attitude? They treat people like trash, while getting paid thanks to those people.

A year ago I got two invoices from labcorp of a few hundreds of dollars, that again my insurance paid in full. Had to call them a few times, and they told me I was a new patient and they didn't know I had insurance. ?!? I was not a new patient, and it clearly says I have insurance, but another labcorp employee back then didn't bother checking, they just sent me the bill.

Few months after I received another bill for a couple hundreds, same aggravation, few phone calls, nonsense talking, impertinent attitude, finally they admitted it was a mistake. A week later I received this final notification for the same invoice, threatening that they would take further action if I do not pay the bill, and labcorp is going to deny service to me if invoice is not paid.

Had to call them again, on hold, asked what was going on as I thought the issue was solved, another employee with this arrogant tone tells me, yes mam, ignore the invoice, have a good day, and hung up.

No apologies, no explanation, just a continuous mess and mockery of the paying customers.

Hire people with an ounce of intelligence and some basic common sense, who are capable to communicate in a civilized way. This level of rudeness and incompetence is unacceptable, they sound embarrassingly ignorant and uneducated, instead of polite and professional.

I imagine they work from home and we bother them, hence the snapping back and lack of civility, but why does labcorp pays them for being totally incapable to do their job? Is there any managing of this department? Anybody hold them accountable for these mistakes and the rude attitude?

Nobody needs the aggravation, stress and frustration from labcorp, and definitely we do not need to spend hours from work and our personal time to fight with your incompetent billing employees.

Not to mention that charging somebody for an invoice that was already paid IS FRAUD!

This company shouldn't be in business

This company shouldn't be in business. My husband is a veteran and needed a blood draw and the lab in Centralia, WA never responded to the messages I left over two weeks. I tried other means of contact through the website and still nothing. I didn't get help through the hospital here and got the draw on a Saturday but LabCorp still hasn't faxed his provider with the results and we are now going on two weeks. I got one call from a young woman who was unprofessional and cold and lied about having called before and she was totally unhelpful.
