I recently completed a course that exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the moment I enrolled, I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of knowledge possessed by the instructors and the quality of the training provided.

Undoubtedly, this course was challenging and intense, but that's exactly what my peers and I signed up for. We all understood that it wasn't going to be a walk in the park, and we embraced the journey wholeheartedly. It's important to note that this course may not be suitable for everyone due to its demanding nature, but for those willing to put in the effort, the rewards are tremendous.

While there were a few activities where guest instructors didn't quite meet the pinnacle of perfection, they certainly surpassed our initial expectations. Their dedication and commitment to helping us learn were evident throughout, and we appreciated their contributions immensely.

However, the true stars of the show were the main instructors. Their expertise, passion, and unwavering support were palpable throughout the course. They pushed us to our limits while providing invaluable guidance every step of the way. To the entire team behind this course, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. Well done, and thank you for an unforgettable learning experience.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a course that challenges you, pushes you to grow, and offers unparalleled support from knowledgeable instructors, look no further. I highly recommend this course to anyone.

Great learning experience

It’s mentally stressful from day 1 but rewarding, just remember to always network with everyone on the course and the instructors are great teachers and will provide you with all the Information.

They have paid the monies back and trying to get me the remaining balance

Very well run course with lots of 'real world' practical experience. The three weeks are very challenging but well worth it if you push through!

I went on this course May 2022 and was promised guaranteed work with the company or links within the company. The course was good, I enjoyed it and had fun with the people on the course with me. Hotel wasn't great at all but the staff were very nice. I'm still awaiting to complete 2 or 3 more refresher days after nearly 2 years on as the guidelines and law were changed at the same time of me retaking 1 more exam.. the organisation of this company isn't great and I'm not sure how they are promising work for people and not delivering. Please go with another company.

Very interesting and lots of great information for the industry as a whole, the instructors couldn’t be better, they pressure test you a lot as you need to be mentally able to get on in this industry. Would recommend it 100% but just know you need to put the effort in or you will be coming back on a later date.

A difficult and rewarding course taught by great instructors who are passionate and knowledgable about Executive close protection. I learn’t so much in just 3 weeks, it was a challenging process but very enjoyable at the same time. The instructors really made the course something i won’t forget, Thank you Phoenix and well done everyone who passed ✌🏻

Knowledgable a welcoming tutors and very thorough with their approach to teaching. Work hard and see the rewards, this course is an amazing path opener into the industry!

Amazing course you will be tested and you will be better for it !
Instructors are top of there game and have lots of experience and a unique but effective way of getting you to the standard they expect. Do this course even if it's just to level yourself up never mind CP or security. Your state of mind and ability to work in general will improve if you complete this course and apply it to your life.

3 weeks is a long time and from day one Phoenix lay down the ground rules to complete the course. You are treated like adults, and the wealth of experience not just from the instructors, but from other students on the course is in-valuble.
The two exercises surveillance and the final ex, actually open your eyes. The feedback is constructive, and there is always video evidence to look over (and you realise you're not as good as you thought lol). My only suggestion would be to make the Driving, weapons and combat day, two days each. It would allow the not so experienced to gain a basic level, and the more advanced an upskill on what they have.
First aid training was well instructed and the use of computerised re-susi dolls get you working as you should in real life.
I wish everyone well on their chosen career with in the CP world.

What made the experience great was how invested and passionate the teachers were when explaining, which gives us the best possible chance of passing.

Great course but not for faint hearted. Instructors give you 100% and expect the same in return. Always on hand for advice and support. Live operations were a great experience to what you will have to deal with in real life scenarios. Combat day and driving day was fun and great learning curve. I would recommend this course to anyone who what to pursue a career in CP.

Great training provider, command nothing but the best from each and every person that walks through the door. Course isn’t for the weak or the unwilling, the instructors and all other staff that work with you are spot on.

If I knew what I know now then I would of never wasted my money.

Cult mentality.

Completing the Close Protection Course with Phoenix Group in Birmingham was an enhancing experience, refining my skills in security and close protection. Guided by the experienced instructors Lance and Jaye, their commitment to ensuring comprehensive understanding was not only commendable but inspiring.

The course's meticulously crafted curriculum included loads of theoretical instruction, various assessments and practical evaluations. Four immersive real-life scenarios, providing a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a realistic context. They do not provide just the basic training to get an SIA Level 3 Certificate, they are engaged to push the students to another level.

Grateful for the training with Phoenix Group, I wholeheartedly recommend their Close Protection Course for those seeking top-tier executive protection education.

Do not attend the course if: you are not willing to work hard, the schedules are tight. If you cannot follow basic rules of a human being living in a civilised world such as being clean and organised, follow good practices and etiquette. If you are not willing or not able to respect the rules of the house, instructors and colleagues. If you might have difficulties to be on time, or if you may have to interrupt the course for personal reasons. The Phoenix Team will ensure that the rules are followed.

I definitely recommend the training with Phoenix for those who have self discipline and are looking beyond simply getting certified.

Very proffesional company and really enjoyed learning with Phoenix, instructors were brilliant

I learnt a lot from this course especially for the directing staff that taught us, there was a wealth of knowledge between them and they know what they're doing.

The course timetable itself could be looked at more. Throughout the 20 days there was a lot of time wasted sitting around doing nothing waiting to find out. We started late for nearly all of the days when we could've come in early and got work done.

Unarmed combat day seemed like a pointless waste to me. Cash the flash spent more time talking about himself and telling stories than actually teaching and what we did learn was basic and useless.
Spending more time on taking opponents down and disarming would be much better. But the other fighting instructor's were very knowledgeable and sociable.

Shooting day was also a waste and could be cut out as we only fired 10 rounds of 22lr and that was it. Pointless in my opinion and nothing as shown on the promotion material.

I'm disappointed in not getting FREC 3 and how we got certified not qualified in a lot of the subjects.

Overall it was an alright experience, we had time to complete all the work and the course staff were very helpful. I never had the feeling of failure even when there was a lot of work to do.

The level of instruction and knowledge that was past on from all instructors was top level.
You asked a question and you got the answer and support.
They are true gentlemen and experts in their field. I would with out any doubt chose phoenix again for providing my training.

Would fully recommend to anyone looking for a further insight into the world of close protection. Both instructors were very experienced, along with all secondary instructors along the way; a huge wealth of experience and training on every day of the course. Tasks set out in a certain way allow you to work out how to carry out the tasking, as opposed to telling you how to do it was a refreshing way of tuition from start to finish.
If you’re after working on the doors, give this a miss- if you’re looking for a course that will change the way you think and looking for a genuine experience, give them a call.
Enough class and field based work to keep you engaged throughout, I thoroughly enjoyed the team dynamic and the workload throughout.
Not easy, but nothing worth doing ever is.
