Frustrating and scarry!
Took my van in at 8am shape! 4pm received health check no notifications or update of MOT. Health check implied in big red markers i needed to spend 2500 immediately !! Kinda implied or least made me feel my van failed its mot and i now in a total panic about how im going to raise such money. Then notified a hour later whilst in super stressed zone ..i get told Its passed it MOT with no concerns. When i went to pick up no one available to discuss the findings and potential 2500 Bill!! So hears my feelings , questions is that just a tactic to get u to spend money? ..it certainly scarred me and had i been a bit more vulnerable i may been taking a loan out right now!! Surely a more less stressful approach is possible?? How about ...Oh hello good news your van passed its mot, however we have spotted potential issues which may need addressing down the line ...let me explain!! Be interesting to see whst my mechanic says about the feedback and charges..if right ill happily note it hear but as an example new battery ? (had no issues by the way) quoted 546 pounds ..most expensive i can find on line is 250..
more honesty and better feedback to the customer is needed!
So no due to review you prevent me from viewing the health check . . and that not a touch suspicious?

Northampton Branch. Made The Sale? Now You're Dead To Us
Ill stipulate that this is with regards their Northampton branch.
As soon as you've made a purchase, as soon as the keys are in your hands - you might as well be dead to them. First time they sold us a lemon, they changed it, minimal hassle, but still a hassle. Like for like swap, different colour. Meh.
Wife has now just got a top of the line new Golf R, christmas lights on the dashboard - "Sorry, its a 5 day SLA to respond to complaints". So she can't get to work as a contractor, so thats the day rate gone. Cant get the kids to school, so now we're sitting in taxis with them both ways - two different schools, £45 a day in taxis - its already been in THREE times to have various sensor faults checked and "Dont know what you're talking about love, we couldnt recreate the fault". Oh, well you must have sat in the car for less then 14 seconds then 'mate'.
Ill say it again. New business, new car, new customer - heres the red carpet sir and madam. Already bought from us and dont have a Multi Platinum Gold Engraved Super Service Ultimate Customer Care Package (costing more than 15 annual services)? Naw, shame. Back of the queue numpty. See you next month.

Went for oil change and inspection services. The service light was not reset, didn't even get a car wash, unwelcoming staff.

Parkway Tiguan Software Update and Service
We visited VW Parkway as part of our service plan and were looked after efficiently. We were asked to bring in our car for a software update which Wouk take 24 hours so Parkway had the car for two full days. We were given an electric 3Di GT as a courtesy car which was nice to experience. Our car was washed and ready when we went to pick it up.

3 years ago I bought a car a beautiful Volkswagen Polo in Ascot Grey the service we were given was 5 star back then, we were listened to and not forcibly sold something we didn’t need. Buying cars gives me anxiety and Marcus who dealt with us just made it so easy. 3 years on Marcus gave me a call to see how I felt about changing the car again, he remembered little details like how I loved the colour and told me there was a new one that had just been released in the same colour which I thought was lovely. It was really nice having the same representative as It built up my trust. He explained everything to me even my silly questions! The whole swap took less than a week which was amazing as we are so busy and needed a car the same day we gave ours back. Even after the sale I called with little questions and Marcus didn’t hesitate to help me. Overall Volkswagen Parkway is such a professional clean and inviting experience I feel hesitant to ever change from them! 5 star ⭐

Positive Experience
The staff were welcoming and polite. It was a recall for a replacement air bag which was at no cost and they also checked my car and valeted it. They did the work very quickly as I was not in a position to go home and then return to collect my car later. There was a comfortable waiting area with refreshments. All in all, a very positive experience.
