Useless as ever
Received a 'fee to pay before we can deliver your item' note from Royal Mail. Filled in the online form, and was told 'Sorry, we cannot deliver this item.' No reason given. Rang Royal Mail, and was asked by automated voice to state the serial number on the card. I did so, very clearly and slowly, three times. Each time I was told they did not recognise the number. Impossible to speak to human being. This is the umpteenth time I've been let down by the Royal Mail. Truly awful, shameful service.
Very poor service
The ones you could trust to deliver on time but not anymore always some issue and never on time always late, always a different postie never the same one for long some good some just don’t care and look like someone made them do the job they didn’t want to do, can’t follow instructions when you put to leave in a safe place or with a neighbour, just going down hill fast, who is going to take over and is it ever going to get any better I honestly don’t think it will the way things are going in the world today.
Customer service is not a priority
I simply don't understand how RM get away with such appalling service whilst still having the audacity to keep increasing prices. What's the point of tracked services, eg 24/48 when they just say thats the aim, not a guarantee? I'm no longer going to pay for the enhanced so called quicker service as it's a complete rip off. Severely delayed post, mail arriving at random times, delivery to wrong address, redirection of wrong persons mail, the list goes on. How is this allowed to continue?

Tracking photo shows the wrong parcel, delivered to an unknown post box in an unknown street. Not one thing is correct. Only option was to log a complaint which apparently can take ten days. 15 minute wait on a phone-call to log the complaint. High postage cost for 24hour tracked 'service' and a ridiculous amount if I wanted to guarantee the parcel would actually be correctly delivered.

I would love Royal Mail to give more accurate times instead of messaging saying between 13.15 and 19.15 then coming after that as folk has things to do instead of sitting around waiting for them. Why is it most companies can give a 1 or 2 hour slot but not Parcel force but apart from that they are Rubish company and don’t know why companies use them. Let’s see what time they rock up

Was expecting a parcel today but the tracking came up with unable to deliver due to inaccessible. No royal mail had been at all, cctv showed no royal mail either. Not the 1st time and seems to always be on a friday, not hard to guess why.

I could write paragraphs regarding dozens of problematic deliveries in the last the few months along with poor service, tracking, posting etc..
But my time has been wasted enough so I'll conclude,
SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE.
Disappointing isn't even the word to use. Very sad state of affairs...

It’s a funny old world.
Bought an item and paid more for 48 hour delivery with parcel force, although this isn’t guaranteed????? Didn’t I just pay for 48hour.
Anyway, got an email telling me my package will be delivered between 13:00 and 17:50 today. Followed by a little star, which, as you go down the page, states, this doesn’t mean it will be delivered today????????? What on earth. It wasn’t, but why even bother sending an email that says that. And they wonder why they’re not doing so well nowadays.

Royal should be removed from their title
Royal Mail should have the title Royal taken away from the company as it casts a negative dispersion upon the Royal family of this country. After sending a birthday card 1st class giving a week to arrive at its destination it took two sadly missing the reciprocates birthday. A shocking service, if they could be transparent and give a realistic timeline of their expected delivery that might be a foot forward.

Royal Mail has deteriorated considerably for many years and they have tried to catch up with the competition but failed drastically.
I recently purchased two items, one being delivered by EVRI and the second by Royal Mail. The EVRI parcel can be tracked right up to the 2 hour window of delivery but Royal Mail, can’t even get that bit right.
The Royal Mail app tells me that they will inform me “When we attempt delivery”. To be brutally honest, what a load of tosh! I purchased an item, I paid for the packaging and the cost of delivery, yet Royal Mail can’t even allow me the courtesy to arrange my life and be home to accept the delivery.
If INPOST, EVRI, DPD, DPS can in 2026, why, oh why can’t the Royal Mail. Quite honestly I can sum it up in one word USELESS
OMG terrible customer and delivery service
OMG they damaged a parcel and I was send around the houses making a complaint with generic emails. Long waits on the phone and then they tried to tell me to recover damages from Ebay. I will endeavour to escalate but ParcelForce are an embarrassment, shocking leadership.
complete waste of space
They appear to send their parcels back and forth from the hub to the wrong location. Try and talk to anyone and pre recorded junk warning you the lines close at 6.30 and you may be cut off and thats at 6.05
Called all our suppliers and advised them if the use royal mail we will look elsewhere for suppliers
Tell the truth would be a start
