Reading a the negative reviews about ROYAL MAIL.....They have not replied to any review???..????..just goes to prove....They don't care one bit...they steal our items whether buying or selling....HOW ARE THEY GETTING AWAY WITH THIS????????????? ITS A CRIME....STAFF STEALING ITEMS AND ACCORDING TO ROYAL MAIL.........THIS IS OK?????????IM TOTALLY SHOCKED RM CSN STEAL FROM US AND GET AWAY WITH IT AND NOT REGULATED OR INVESTIGATED?..........??????? WHY?..???????????????

I wish the rating of zero stars existed. One star is being way too generous for the lacklustre delivery times and the non-delivery of letters. People are paying good money for a service they do not get. It's not like the cost has gone down; it's gone up, and we are being given timeframes of 24 hours, which is absolutely laughable. How can something this bad still have a Royal charter? It's a joke, and it encompasses everything wrong with how things in this country are going. AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!

TERRIBLE SERVICE … once trusted when it was “ROYAL MAIL’. NOW PARCELS GETTING LOST… HIIGH PRICES AND CRAP SERVICE.. if you speak with Bailey or Josh they fob you off saying it’s being passed to management… have to wait on hold for an hour to speak to a non trained customer service person. AVOID AT ALL COST … APPALLING SERVICE

Very disappointing delivery experience. I was at home the whole day waiting for an important parcel, but the driver marked it as “unable to deliver / no answer.” This is completely untrue because my doorbell is literally in my room, and I would have heard it immediately if anyone had actually tried to deliver.

This is not the first time this has happened. They have been doing this repeatedly, and it is extremely frustrating, especially when the parcel is important. If a delivery attempt is claimed, there should be proper evidence that the driver actually came to the door. Very poor service and very unreliable.

Delivery is taking longer than usual, this is the annoying message that anyone waiting for delivery receives, then you are lucky to receive anything. The service is not fit for purpose, if any senders say they will be using royal mail I will not be using them.

I want to cancel any order I make online when I find the seller uses Royal Mail. Guaranteed it will be late or never arrive at all . Today's cracker is that my driveway wasn't accessible....I have no driveway, live in a terraced house with ample parking at the front , was working at the front of the house all day , and at the time of the alleged delivery attempt, Amazon delivered 5 minutes before , and Evri delivered 10 mins after . Lies lies lies . Avoid them .....They should lose their Royal approval asap . Stick to letters , stop doing parcels . So much for their new moniker ' a parcel company that also delivers letters' . Do one thing , because you are awful at trying to do both .

Doesn't deserve 1 star. Lost my passport and I waited months for it to arrive so I had to apply for another one. I asked for some compensation they refused. Then 6 months later I received my old passport clipped.

waiting for hospital appointment letter sent on 23rd june only just recieved today 6th of july managed to get there for appointment its shocking how can this be. Going to ring appointments tomorow as hubby due appointment too and overdue letter. people could actually be very ill before hospital letters get to them or diagnosis letters. Royal mail need to get their act together

24hr tracked delivery is abysmal. NEVER EVER have they ever done in in 24hrs. Surprised Trading Standards haven't got onto them as 24hr is false advertising

Said it was on it's way and gave me an eta. Been waiting all day for it to arrive just to get a message saying they tried to deliver. No attempt was made. This has happened often. When I tried calling during the afternoon, their offices were not open. I wouldn't mind if this didn't happen often, but it does. It is unreliable.

Royal Fail are as bad as Parcel Farce. Their driver drove down my street (whilst I was stood at the gate where my post box is talking to my neighbour) turned round in the turning bay at the bottom of the street and drove straight past my house a second time and off down the street. Few minutes later I recieved an email stating "Sorry, there didn’t seem to be anyone in. We’ll automatically reattempt delivery of your parcel the next working day". I was still stood at my gates when I recieved the email where I had been stood all morning. Royal Fail deserve their name like Parcel Farce deserve their name neither service is fit for purpose. No doubt their next attempt at delivery will require them to turn up at the wrong time and lob my parcel over my gates onto my concrete drive then send me an email saying its been left in my safe place. Totaly abysmal service. Pathetic. No option for minus 10 so begrudgingly had to give them a one star revue.

Utterly unreliable service

Royal Mail is completely unreliable.
I received two updates about parcel delivery, spent the day at home, in order to be able to receive the parcel
At the end of the day just a news arrived about not being able to deliver with empty and meaningless excuse

I never chose to use Royal mail, the company I bought from, Start Fitness, did. A £200 pair of running shoes confirmed delivered, at my selected location, went to collect and they were nowhere to be found, never delivered. The fun begins to track down my shoes. Royal mail uncontactable, after 3pm on a Saturday. Absolutely rubbish.

Constantly say they've attempted delivery while not even trying. The most cheeky of these is saying I wasn't there for a redelivery that I scheduled despite delivering another item!

should be renamed "next day by 1pm if youre fu**ing lucky". this 24HOUR service can take over a week to arrive...... joke of a company

Booked collection items from Amazon on Saturday 04/07/26. Waited for post man since 08:45 being in the office. The weather is fine, doors in off are open.
The Royal Mail sent email: on Saturday 4 July 2026 on Saturday 4 July 2026 at 09.25am.

No one reason is correct.

Few days before Royal Mail tried to collect my items from the wrong address.

So, they didn’t do they job.

Just to confirm that Royal Mail is indeed a one star service courier: Tracked 48 hours takes a week to be delivered to me and tracked 24 hours maybe a day or two less. Next day special delivery is mostly ok but it should be given how much it costs.

We are a business customer. We have been with them for ten years. When Parcelforce merged with Royal Mail, the service became extremly shocking. The price went up and the service went down massively. Parcelforce are a nightmare. No accountaibility, nobody wants to talk to you when things go wrong. Never their fault, always ours or the customer fault. We are leaving, good riddances. If they keep this service up and high pricing, they wont last long. Parcelforce and Royal Mail, we are leaving and based on the other reviews I have seen, I dont think we are the only ones.

Mail always late from Grays depot. Got two messages yesterday, one message said delivery would be by 19.30, that got updated to 00.05 said 70 stops before me. Then received another message soon after telling me this, they were unable to gain access! Still not updated that message and now 10.15 the next day..

They always say they attempted delivery but no one was around. Lies. They only specialize in delivering junk mails and letters.
