La calidad en la atención es excelente: Compré unas retro run, tuve un pequeño problema, pero Susana, del equipo de Ohne, me propuso una solución/compensación muy buena, me regalaron un par de otro modelo de mi elección por las molestias ocasionadas, y eso, demuestra el interés en la marca por satisfacer al cliente, a pesar de ser un negocio pequeño e independiente, tienen unos valores férreos y se nota que les gusta lo que hacen y creen en el proyecto. Además el envío llegó rapidísimo, lo pedí un viernes y el lunes ya lo tenía en casa. Tengo unas zapatillas Ohne 080 que compré hace un año, en una tienda barefootYOU, aun las conservo y es el calzado más cómodo que he tenido nunca, sinceramente la calidad/precio merece totalmente la pena.

I ordered 6 pairs of shoes and the quality was really good. I had to return the goods and Susana was really helpful and available. She answered quickly and in a very pleasant way.
100% happy with my service.

UK BUYERS BEWARE!

ANSWER TO THE SELLER:
I understand that international returns can be costly. However, that is part of running a business that chooses to sell to UK customers. It shouldn’t be the customer’s responsibility to absorb those costs, especially when the item is not suitable and a standard exchange was requested.

ANSWER TO THE SELLER 2:
I’m not sure if this is a cultural difference, but please don’t keep going back and forth blaming the customer, you’re only reinforcing what other reviews say about your customer service. I understand now that you don’t offer free exchanges, and that is not acceptable to me. It makes buying from you a risk, and customers should be aware of that. Whether you are a small company or not, you charge premium prices, so I expected a more reasonable level of service. All the best with your business!

ANSWER TO SELLER 3:
This will be my final response, as this situation has become unreasonable.

The issue was the inconsistency in sizing, otherwise, I would not have needed an exchange or refund. Instead, I have been penalised for your lack of size standardisation and am now £30 out of pocket for nothing.

Running a business comes with expenses, but as a customer, I should not be expected to absorb those costs.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
This company does not operate properly within the UK, which means they are unable to offer exchanges. I am a returning customer and ordered the same size as before, only to find that it fit smaller this time.

I requested an exchange, but this was not possible. I was then asked to return the item using an inappropriate method, declaring the shoes as £30 when their actual value was £155, and marking them as a “gift”.

As a result, I am now without the shoes and have also lost over £30 in delivery costs, which are non-refundable.

I would not have left this review had the company handled the situation fairly, but instead I was told the issue was entirely my fault, because of me they needed to “handle everything manually on our side, which is quite complex operationally”. This experience has been very disappointing

Hello,

We are very sorry to hear this, we explicitly write in our Shipping and return policies that at the moment we can only accept returns within the EU, we try to be very clear about it, and even we always give the option the return the shoes manually because we don't have a proper system to do it. This being said, we are working to have a proper method. We ship DDP so you don't have to pay any extra charges as you might have experienced, it's us who pay the import charges to UK. If you shop the shoes directly to us, they will be held in Customs and the package with be lost (totally lost). We are aware that at the moment the return process is not great but we try to be as clear as possible of it.

Really sorry for your review as this deeply hurt our project.

UPDATE:
We do pay for import fees on a DDP delivery. You paid some part of the shipment but not entirely as we absorb part of it, so yes, we do lose also money with any return, plus fees that we have to pay when we receive it back to us (arround 20€ just to pass the Spanish border) That's why we can't make free returns as they would cost us over 50€ just to send back the package.

UPDATE 2:

Totally understand and that's why we clearly state in the returns policy that returns are not available from UK, therefore we believe once you buy from UK, you accept those conditions. We do however the option to do it under the customers shipping method as we believe that keeping shoes that don't suit you it's also not an option. This being said MOST if not ALL companies (even big big big companies like Nike, Adidas, Zara etc charge fees for returning the goods) and even more in International orders, we are a small business that still cannot ship from UK or US and we ship from Spain.
For you and any other UK/US customer that can read this review, in the next couple of weeks will have the option to return the shoes through an automated portal (not for free as we can't).

UPDATE 3:

We don't try to blame the customer, we are accountable if we do any mistake or there is any quality problem. In this case we are handling all with respect and being always understandable with the situation and always try top help the customer. But at the same time have policies that need to be respected in both ways. Again, I'm really sorry you feel this way and we are improving our services day by day to have better experience shopping abroad.

The best barefoot shoes I have ever seen and worn! Very comfortable, good looking and high quality - great value for money. Also really like the fact that they are made in Spain! Already a fan of this brand!

I just wanted to share how much I love your barefoot shoes. They feel incredibly natural and comfortable, and I really appreciate the wide toe box and flexibility.

After a short adjustment period, they’ve become my favorite everyday shoes. I can definitely feel the difference in how I walk, and overall they’ve been a great experience.

Great customer service and a brand that…

Great customer service and a brand that truly stands behind its products. I contacted them about my shoes (one of their very first models I believe). Even though I hadn’t worn them much, the sides of the soles had worn out, and they handled the situation with care and professionalism. They also explained that the model has been improved.

Their team responded quickly within a day and kindly offered to send me a new pair at no cost. I really appreciate their transparency, sustainability values, and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Highly recommended!

Quality is VERY BAD

Quality is VERY BAD. Sides of the soles started to unglue the first month. After 3 the side sole seams started to get loose. After 4,other seams started to get dissapear. These are 150€ shoes so at this price is basically a scam.

he tenido que pagar dos veces gastos de envio por devolución. Compré la misma talla que tenía en otro modelo y es 2 tallas más grandes y dicen que no es problema suyo. Genial!

Para defender el discurso, ponéis ahora que no se me cobró la devolución? Mala estrategia, poco humana, la verdad me ha decepcionado mucho

Bad quality and worse service

To make a long story short:
The shoes look good, thats really the only positive.
The quality is bad but it has been even worse.
The customer service is complete and utter bullshit.
First they promise you via email free shipping back (after I payed for shipping with goods worth about 800 Euros) and send you a link.
You click on that and see that return via old payment method will deduct shipping costs but at the option of the gift card this isnt written.
Well the giftcard it is then.

After u get it dine, the gift card balance is 15 Euros less than it should have been! It took of the shipping back costs?!

What kind of joke is that??

After I emailed them about this, they were like : haha sorry actually shipping back costs.

Like wtf?

You can be sure I will spend the gift card balance and then never shop with you ever again.

Awful customer communication

Ordered some barefoot shoes on the 27th November and by mid-December (17th) I’ve had minimal communication about my order.

My first email was what looked to be a scripted response to say my order would be delivered that week of the 8th December, which it wasn’t. I followed up at the beginning of the following week asking simply for a tracking number, with no response received whatsoever.

Avoid.

During Black Friday there is millions of orders shipped overseas and through customs which made a lot of delays in customs (out of our hands) as we shipped the packages in 24h.
This doesn't mean that the team should have had good communication all the time, for that I'm really sorry. We are learning as there was many cases and some slipped out of the mail.

Bad Customer Support bad quality

I wrote them that the shoes are not comfortable to wear for my feet and getting blisters and if there is a way to alter them some way. I never got a response.

Furthermore, the quality is terrible, the shoes are falling apart. The stitching is coming off the sole and the outer fabric is tearing after 2–3 months. For shoes at this price, I would expect them to last awhile.
