It’s funny how their “so called” contact info is in Azuza, CA but the shipment is coming from China!!! Customer service is AWFUL!! Shoes are even worse!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Very low quality shoes. The website says returns are possible and the customer pays the return shipping cost. Normal, right? No. It is a con. I was told I would have to pay to return them internationally and pay German customs charges. This would cost more than the shoes themselves.

Do not buy unless you’ve tried them before and you know you won’t need to return them. I tried Vivo Barefoot instead - infinitely better experience all round and worth the extra cost.

Very comfortable and quick to put on and go. Unfortunately my dog ate them the next 😕 😞

The shoe I ordered is a slip on and due to the high arch I have I cannot get my foot into the shoe. Hobiebear has been very difficult to work with when trying to return the shoes. My advice is to not order from them!

Look of shoes is great, however, my right shoe makes a popping sound when I walk. I really wanted to love these shoes.

I just purchased these to go walking in and they are great! My only problem is they didn't come with laces but toggles. I love the styling.

Da jeg ville returnerer skulle jeg bruge mange mails på at få den returadresse som de lover at sende til én. De forsøgte at lokke med et par gratis sko, hvis jeg beholdte dem jeg ville returnerer. Derudover ville de diskuterer, at jeg skulle sende indenfor 3 dage for ellers ville de ikke tage imod returneringen. Videre ville de også at jeg skulle sende billeder af skoene inden de ville sende returadressen.

BE HONEST... if an item is shipping from China, make sure you inform a potential customer. If you do not make it clear, you need to change your cancelation policy. I wanted to cancel the order when I saw it was shipping from China but your policy says you can not cancel after it ships, very dishonest as you don't know it is shipping from China after the 24 hour cancel policy. I will not purchase your items in the future fearing they ship from China!!!

Honestly I have never interacted with a worse company. I bought two pairs of shoes. Despite sizing up 1 and a half sizes, the shoes were still quite small. They were also poorly made and extremely uncomfortable. I have been battling with them to return the shoes for a refund for 6 weeks now. They did everything they could to try and give me a partial refund. When I did eventually get the returns address for their warehouse in Germany, I followed their postage instructions completely (and paid £15 for tracked and signed for delivery) and there was no one at the warehouse to accept the package. They are now refusing to rearrange delivery on their end (I cannot do this as the sender) and still refusing to issue my refund, despite the problem being completely their own. So I am now down the price of two shoes and £15 postage.

Appalling. I'm just about to return shoes they sent that are the wrong size. I ordered correctly but received shoes that are too small. I am expected to incur the cost to return the shoes to Germany despite the error being theirs. They are based in China, not the UK. And the ludicrous offers they made to try and get out of refunding me much at all. I suspect the only reason I will be getting any part refunded is because I've raised a dispute with paypal. Avoid. Absolutely the worst service. I'd give zero if that were possible.

Shoes arrived in good time, however the sizing is completely off. Bought a 39 (UK size 6) for my son, as soon as I took them out of the packaging they looked small so I tried them on and they were too small for me (UK size 5), so I would say the sizing is around 2 sizes smaller. They look and feel very cheaply made and the soles are made out of a stiff plastic which feels like it will crack with a bit of movement. Haven't even tried to return yet, but I'm not hopeful looking at these reviews. £45 lesson learnt I suppose.

The sizes run small dispite following the size guidelines. Trying to return them for a refund... received no return address or offer of refund available. AVOID!
Purchase from a company in the uk and be happy to support UK instead of Hobibear/China corruption.

The delivery did not arrive. The courier tells me to talk to the retailer, HObibear tells me I need to obtain some kind of proof from the courier company. The courier company refuse to do so as they informed the retailer. Also whoever is on this customer service clearly sitting in China. This ping-pong is not customer friendly at all. Very disappointed.

The worst customer service. Shoes came a size small and it is absolutely impossible to have it returned. The most regrettable experience

Die Schuhe, welche uns geschickt wurden, waren zu groß, daher wollten wir sie gerne zurückschicken.

Ich habe mittlerweile 5 (!!) Mal eine Mail an diese Firma geschickt, um die Rücksendemodalitäten zu erhalten und bis jetzt noch keine Rückantwort erhalten (mittlerweile sind es schon 3 Wochen).

Auch die Qualität der Schuhe hat uns nicht wirklich umgeworfen.

Ich kann nur eindringlich vor einer Bestellung bei diesem Unternehmen warnen !!!

I wish I had read these reviews before I bought these shoes. I have had exactly the same experience as others have said here. The skies are made of a horrible synthetic that makes your feet really hot and sweaty. I usually have cold, dry feet but these make my feet really uncomfortable.
You basically can't return the shoes, despite what they say on their website return policy. I believe this is misrepresentation at best and fraud at worst. The cost of returning the shoes to Germany is more than their value.
Only buy these shoes if you are happy to waste your money if you don't like them or can't wear them for any reason.

This company is just plain dishonest. I bought shoes that were not sewn correctly and cause extreme pain due to the rough seams. I sent pictures to the company and they suggested I sell them to my friends and they would provide 15% of the purchase price. Their two responses to my issue are insulting!

A FUIR! Arnaque. Ils envoient une mauvaise taille, puis proposent une réduction de 10 % puis 20% puis 30% pour que vous gardiez les chaussures quand même ! Leurs conditions générales de vente précisent qu'ils prennent en charge les frais de retour en cas d'erreur de leur part mais ils disent tout le contraire dans leurs mails. Ils menacent de ne pas rembourser les chaussures si le client ne fournit pas le numéro de retour dans les 3 jours (numéro et étiquette qu'ils sont censés fournir eux-même!) prétendent que les chaussures sont détruites se le numéro de retour ne figure pas sur l'étiquette (pretexte pour faire croire qu'ils n'ont pas reçu le retour ?). Bref une arnaque ! A fuir. Sur leur site, figure une adresse aux USA, les chaussures arrivent tout droit de chine et la boîte est emballée grossièrement dans un sac plastique....

I bought some shoes which look good but for me are not comfortable. The uppers are stiff and they are more restrictive than other barefoot shoes I have tried.
I tried to return them but the only option is to post to Germany with a specific courier which costs more than the shoes. I ended up accepting a 30% refund and voucher towards another pair (which I won’t use).
Basically you can’t return them so if they don’t fit you’re stuck with them,
