Nexus employees are always fantastic!
Nexus employees are always knowledgeable, friendly and fantastic. We have done multiply transfers with nexus and we have never had an issue. However, the 4 stars is because this last time went to Mazatlán, Mexico, our pickup time was 30 min late from and to the airport. This was the first time
So many people were at the same resort as us and needing the same transfer time; therefore, Nexus needed multiple shuttles or large buses, and even knowing how many people they needed to transfer, we still had to wait for the buses and shuttles to cycle through. I did think in the end it might’ve been better because we would’ve all just been really backed up at the airport but when you’re standing in the heat or with all your luggage and have kids, 30 minutes can feel like a long wait. This is the first time that has happened though, otherwise Nexus is always been great. We’ve never had an issue with them and booking excursions and transfers is very easy.

Every was good
Every was good. Busses were on time. One problem though. The bus broke down on the way to the airport. It was extremely hot that day and there was no air conditioning.

When we arrived and met with the nexus…
When we arrived and met with the nexus representative, he couldn’t find me. He looked and looked do I pulled out my phone and showed him the confirmation email. Then he found us. Coming back to the airport was perfect! No problems.

Worst customer service ever.
Took over an hour to book by phone, payment wouldn’t go through three times emails wouldn’t come. They’re texting System apparently wasn’t working. Finally got it to go through, week later in Mexico they forgot to pick us up, went to the rep on site, he has completely useless and waste of oxygen, looked at me like I had 3 eyes. Instead of getting on the phone and finding out what’s going on, he text somebody and I sat there for 25 minutes and he said oh you should come back later. Went back later, 2 hours later, he said he hasn’t heard anything yet. Called customer service. It took them majority of the day to reschedule that which I didn’t even want anymore. Do not deal with this Mickey Mouse Club. (Nexustours)

I got food poisoning
I don’t drink . Haven’t had a drink since I was 20. The Wednesday during our stay I ended up with a severe case of food poisoning. Shortly after lunch I wasn’t feeling good so I went back to the room and laid down. Next thing I broke out into the sweats with sharp stomach cramps. It wasn’t long before intense vomiting ensued followed by intense diarrhea. I was engaged in this all Wednesday night and early Thursday morning forcing me to stay in bed, missing meals preventing me from enjoying any vacation all day Thursday as well. I was unable to eat or leave the room. My partner , Lori remained by my side to ensure I was ok since at one point I passed out . I wasn’t able to eat much of anything Friday and Saturday before returning home. The fact I was so ill starting Wednesday ruined the majority of our vacation. Lori was also sick with stomach issues starting Thursday night.
