Köpte mesh routers för 3-4 år sedan och nu har det slutet fungera, marknadens bäst och var mycket dyra, vet inte varför det slutat fungera, kontaktade deras support och för att få en uppdatering som helt plötsligt krävdes av någon anledning så vill dom ha USD 150 = SEK 1700
Vad är det som händer????????????????????????

Support it terrible, They auto renewed "netgear security" when it was listed as disabled for auto renew in there app, cant get hold of anyone for support, had to contract the bank.
The apps are slow and lacking modern standards, there website is the same. Hardware is generally good from netgear, but limited software features and alot of "pay to use" features are hidden when purchaisng.
Will never buy netgear products again.

Not sure I can give a lower rating. Never received my product and they refuse to refund me in spite of the fact that they admit to never having dispatched. Basically scam merchants.
Their products are good if you avoid trying to deal with them direct. Bad company. Awful customer service. Overtly don't care looking at this site!

Adding to the dissatisfaction of Netgear products that regularly crash and are unreliable - routers and powerline adaptors

My usual call - if I could give NetGear zero stars I would.
I bought two NAS drive enclosures which both work perfectly but I cannot access the contents other than on one of them for downloading SONOS music. Support and other facilities have disappeared as of mid 2020 without explanation. A system rebuild two years ago meant I lost all the software related to the two NAS drives and the software, the website at mystora.com and the support is simply not available any more. The hardware which cost a great deal at the time and even more to populate it with a matched set of large size hard drives still works but is effectively useless. I feel like parking the bits outside their office and setting fire to them!
I will not be buying NetGear equipment again, and suggest that this cavalier and arrogant attitude by NetGear is endemic and nothing is likely to change it. Beware!

I bought a netgear wifi extender the same model as one I had previously. It could note talk to my router unless it was in the same small room. I wanted to access the same tv channels in another room with it. The extender would only work if less than 2 metres from the router. Useless. The support ask me if he light on the tv was flickering. Wow. Then I was urged to talk to Just answer charged £1 (and I now have an unwanted subscription) the useless man wanted photos of the device and the router,Why? he then said that new models weren't as good as the old ones. I've returned the new one to Amazon who have dealt with the return very well

Support is terrible. It's the worst support I've ever encountered. They don't understand my explanation of the problem, they tell wrong things to avoid helping, the lines break every time I'm in the middle of getting help for some mysterious reason. Netgear is wasting money, and should get a better support team.

Product seems good when it's up and running, but it's not plug and play. Manual is not comprehensive enough. I had to go through a lot of online forums to get help from other users.

MR1100 ‘bricked’ after 3 months. Spent hours on the phone to support - refused to refund. Bought directly from Netgear - never again! Avoid!!

I bought two of these frames in early 2020 from Amazon.co.uk. Three months out of the warranty period of 2 years, some dark patches started to appear along one of the edges of the screen.
This same problem has occurred on both frames. (Bought from same supplier, at the same time and the problem is along same edge of the canvas. The only difference is that they were in two separate locations. I was advised that this was a hardware problem which could not be repaired, the canvas could only be replaced, and this was not possible because it was after the warranty period had expired.
Furthermore, NETGEAR encourage you to buy the GearHead networking support this is also useless if you have a hardware problem. They can only guide you through an issue that you have with your network (i.e., Wi-Fi connection lost, reset etc) and its pretty basic at that.
So, when thinking about purchasing please bear in mind these items may only have a two-year life and after that you will have to write off your investment to experience (approx. £1400 in my case) because they cannot be repaired and that is the maximum length of the warranty under which replacement can take place. BEWARE! I believe that where a manufacturer has confidence in the reliability of their product, they give long warranties and have repair solutions in place to keep customers happy. NETGEAR IS NOT ONE OF THESE. THIS IS DEFINITELY A “TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN” SORT OF BUSINESS.
If you like a gamble go ahead and purchase!

Terrible Customer service there is none- my wifi provider changed and I could not get help with changing it over - I bought a new one would never buy from this company again

I've been a big user of Netgears Arlo wireless cameras since they first hit the market. I now heavily rely on them, so when something goes wrong, I need and want support to be prompt and resolve the issue.

On every occasion I've had reason to call for support (from basic issues to complex problems), I've found the support team at Arlo to be brilliant. They are responsive, and get the problem resolved. Where the device is faulty, the replacement is delivered within the timeframe they give.

Its a great product with excellent support.

It took 2 hours for tech support to tell me the range extender doesn't work, and I have to pay postage to return it

Terrible. Bought a range extender. Setup didn't work on iOS app. Good luck getting through to their customer service, waited 30min before giving up. Luckily purchased via Amazon, so was able to return.

Overprices products.
bought an orbi wifi extender to boost our wifi speed because verizon wifi is also bad. The Orbi keeps cutting out for 5 seconds then reconnects. This crashes my meetings and games. DO NOT BUY.

Terrible. Such a shame as the router works fine but the customer support is awful. I was just needing to access a simple router login page (no hardware repair) and for that alone I needed to 'subscribe' to one of their packages which is absurd for something which should take a matter for a couple of mins. Won't be buying netgear products again.

I am writing this review and I can see there is already an 88% of negative reviews. I think that says it all! I bought an Orbit mesh router. It is a complicated router and an expensive system (over £300). It does not work so easily, it is not one of those plug and play router, but their support team help me to set it it up within the first 3 months of purchase (after so many irritations). Then I changed the internet company and had to reset but as I had not stable internet anymore. It kept dropping. I reset if back to factory default. I rang for support to get a stable connection and I was asked £99 for one year support or £149 for two years. It is a robbery! Orbit mesh routers are very difficult to set up if you are not an expert as it keeps dropping if not property set up. (nothing wrong with my internet provider). I had no option but to buy a new router (Linkys). It was so easy to set up, just plug and let it go...No dropping issues. I have a 4 bed house and with a router and a satellite covers the WIFI all around the house and garden (and away from my house in the street) without complications. By the way I rang their support department and they told me that their support does not expire. IF YOU BUY NETGEAR BE AWARE! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

£230 router died just outside of it's 2 year warranty. Logged into my account to also find out there is no free technical support at all. Won't be buying this brand again

If you re reading this with a view to buying one, do yourself a favour & look at a different make, the one I bought has a 2 year warranty, it lasted just over 6 months, trying to contact them Netgear is a nightmare, the helpline you eventually get through to is in the Philippines, they answered the call then put me on hold for 20 minutes & then the line went dead, I called again & was again put on hold, after another 10 minutes I got to speak to someone who insisted that the problem would not be with their Range Extender, & that I just needed to re establish the connection to my router, they kept me on the phone trying all the things I had already tried & more, for over an hour,, a phone call which must have cost me more than the price of the extender, when I complained about how long it was taking the young lady offered to call me back, A CALL THAT NEVER CAME . Customer Services is abysmal, the call will cost you a fortune & the 2 year warranty not worth a light. Just dont buy one from Netgear.
Amazon please take note of this, the order was Fulfilled by you.
