Chaotic from start to finish. Unrealistic to expect one driver to look after the needs of 52 passengers. Lack of communication and general planning.

Nice comfortable coach and a great well…
Nice comfortable coach and a great well organised driver. Reasonable Hotel for the cost of the holiday.
Only one downside, my grandson is a vegan and was not well catered for. Apart from that ok.
I’ve been with National Holidays before and always found that they are good value.

We had a great driver called Ben he was amazing very courteous and helpful all all times. Edinburgh Tattoo was amazing loved everything about the show. Will definitely book to go again.

Have previously been on excursions and…
Have previously been on excursions and recent one not managed as professionally. Pick up point and time changed, some complaints on coach regarding reserved seats being allocated twice, no safety instructions regarding emergency exits though young children on board and only half an hour for breakfast due to late breakfast at hotel. Driver was very friendly however was concerned when several people including children were left at Knutsford service station with no information about shuttle pick up.

Great customer service from advisor
Unable to book online due to a technical problem with your website so I telephoned and spoke to an advisor. He was very polite and helpful throughout the booking process and answered all my questions.

Hotel let down by poor quality of food
Hotel clean and comfortable; staff friendly but requests (for rubber shower mat and alternative hot drinks) not met. Food mediocre.

For first timers
For first timers, we enjoyed the experience very much. The booking etc was easy. I also requested front seats, due to periodic travel sickness. The driver,Chris, was excellent. The only reason for deducting a star, was the hotel food. We weren't expecting Michelin star, however, the evening meals left a lot to be desired.

Northumberland tour
It has to be the driver Nick ,he made sure we were all made aware of times ,breaks and dropping off and picking up points and went out of his way to make sure we all heard.
The hotel was good as well as the food and the staff were just brilliant ,polite and helpful, in fact nothing was a problem for them.
The trips to Alnwick Castle and town ,Holy Island, Chesters Roman Fort ,Hadrians wall and
Hexham we're well planned and the tour guide Tom to the latter ruins was very knowledgeable and answered any questions with ease. Booking was easy as usual.
I would highly recommend this tour.

Enjoyed the experience even though it was to the same place, was hoping that it would be at least the other way round, we had a good driver who dropped us at the coach drop off near Shakespeare's house and took us up to the Warwick Castle entrance you only get 3 hours there not enough time to see more than 1 event. Why can't they be changed?
