Buyers beware I was at the store and I trusted the employees there, I purchased Nars tinted moisturizer and when I got home I notice that the product that I had received was already tampered with the protective seal was broken and from further inspection the product was already used and open.

Love Nars products, always a good experience when I visit the counters

After years of settling for Mac which was no longer good for my skin & quite a bad colour match, I popped into the NARS Spitalfields store to get a colour match.

A PHENOMENAL red haired lady by the name of Nicole helped me from start to finish, she listened to all my concerns such as my struggle with hyperpigmentation and she found the most PERFECT foundation and concealer match for me! It was a scarily dead on match! Literally my skin in a bottle!!!!

I don’t know if this will ever get back to her, but Nicole is an exceptional and valuable member of your team and I feel so privileged to have been served by her! She’s helped me feel a lot more confident and I’ve gone from using 4 pumps of Mac foundation & 4 pumps of concealer to literally using one or two small drops of your soft matte complete foundation and a teeny amount of your concealer in the pot!

I am so happy and I owe it all to Nicole!!!

Please pleaseeeee please make sure you let her know how amazing she truly is!!!

Vote with your wallets people! I am absolutely disappointed to know that you are using animal testing and therefore this unnecessary and disgusting animal cruelty cannot be tolerated anymore! I have been buying your products for long time, but as soon as I got to know this, I decided not to use your products and switch to brands that do not do this anymore. There are alternatives to avoid it and so many brands are switching to cruelty-free. If you care at all about poor animals and people in general, you should be more considerate. If the markets in china requires testing then don't sell it there!!!

2 cancelled orders!

I am really unhappy with Nars. I have never ordered off them before and never will again.

I had an order cancelled after 3 days as a new release lipstick was out of stock. Why not just send the rest of the items or wait until the item comes back into stock.

I reordered without said lipstick. This has been in preperation for 10 days. Upon chasing they say they have cancelled the order as set was out of stock when sent for preperation. The item is in stock, in fact all my items are in stock along with free gift still being the same. There is literally no excuse for them not to be sending my order.

They say they cannot send the order as the item was out of stock at the time of order/preperation. Why can an order not be sent through for prep now that all the items are in stock.

At this point I feel they are just spouting excuses. They have lost £150 orders through their incompetence. I will never be ordering from them again. Not only that, the 2 orders are still pending in my paypal and I have not been refunded. Utterly shambolic. Beware everyone.

Purchased makeup and never received it, a month later I received a few samples of lipstick from nars. I have sent numerous emails, eventually got an email to say the item had been returned and my money will be refunded, still waiting for my refund. I would tell people to stay clear of nars

I would give no stars if I could. I ordered a gift , waited a week, checked my order on the website and it shows it was cancelled with no reason whatsoever so I wrote a negative review on their website and then received an email from them which they stated " your review does not meet our website guidelines " Let me guess , since it was a bad review they chose not to post it. This is NOT freedom of speech!!!

I haven’t actually received my order nor has it been dispatched.
I purchased £60 worth of goods last week (5 working days)
Nothing on the website and no email to say there was delays.. I messaged twice (no answer) phoned customer service.. HOW RUDE! They talk over you, they wouldn’t cancel my order (even though it has not been dispatched-rubbish) I was told it would be dispatched in 2 days.. so why can’t they cancel it!! I’m sorry but it’s just not good enough. I won’t be returning. Such a shame there customer service and dispatch time has let them down as I do like their cosmetics.
*I understand COVID is going on however there is no excuse not to send a courtesy email explaining delays etc*

I'd give it a lower rating if I could. Everything I got from them has been disappointing. The pot concealer is horribly cakey, the matte skin tint is also cakey and oxidizes so bad, lipsticks fall out of their cheap and flimsy packaging, and blushes hard-pan after one use so that you have to keep scraping for more color. Oh, and the famed-orgasm blush hardly shows up and is just a huge waste of money. I don't know what happened because NARS used to be really good but now it's just gone downhill. It's basically cheap-feeling makeup under a fancy name.

Customer services is an absolute joke! Placed an order almost 2 weeks ago and it's still 'in preparation'. I have called every day, sent countless emails, filled in online forms and even used social media to try and find out when I will receive my order and still nobody can give me any information. I asked to cancel my order but I apparently can't do that either so I have been left out of pocket with no products, can't cancel and no chance of getting them any time soon!

By far, sells the best foundations!!😍

Have been using it for years. The shade is perfect for my complexion and it looks natural. This does last without drying my lips! Ordering more shades!

I purchased the Lipstick Pigalle. I like the shade of the lipstick! I am happy with my purchase.

Ordered the Sheer Glow foundation on the 4th of August, waited for 10 working days then had to email to chase the order (left a few more days due to COVID and could understand delays) was advised it was being looked into, again left it a few more days, eventually got an email saying the product was out of stock and I would be receiving a refund (2 weeks after placing the order for the product! 21/08) had to email on the 27th to chase the refund as it had not been put back into my account, have had to chase again today as still no sign of the refund (01/09).
Absolutely horrendous, not even sure if I’ll see the money at this point.
Would not recommend using NARS Cosmetics website at all.

Nars pencil lipstick
It was recommended to me as long lasting but it barely lasts through a meal and it goes around your lips as well, nasty. Very expensive and not good at all. Will never use this make up company again.

I recently purchased the NARS Natural Radiant foundation in the shade IGACU from the Nars counter in Selfridges. This shade was recommended to me by the sales person and she was very persistent that I purchase this shade and that it was my perfect match, she even assured me that as she worked for NARS, she knew what was best for their customers. As a person of colour, and a black woman, it is already stressful not finding a shade that matches my skin let alone paying £35 for a foundation that I cannot use. Im extremely disappointed as the foundation is completely off my skin tone, and I cannot return it, as it has been opened. If buying from NARS, I recommend you go on your own initiative and not, ask someone with a completey different shade of skin to help! As of now, I can’t seem to find a shade that matches my skin tone which is very unfortunate.
