Love this bag. When my second baby came along I soon realised I needed a bigger bag. Newborn nappies plus changes of clothes paired with a toddler who was toilet training was the perfect recipe for needing more room. Once the boys are bigger it will be perfect for the beach, camping and picnics.

I received my backpack, it's big and bright colours and sturdy. I needed a big bag to fit all our swimming lesson gear or for trips to the beach. I can also see us using it when travelling.

Update - So many companies, talk the talk, but fail to walk the walk. With this in mind, in my original review (now deleted) I asked Nakie the hard questions to which they openly and honestly answered (see below).
Add, a phone call from Dean equating in next level customer service, and you’re dealing with a company who takes a lot of pride in all aspects of their business. Super impressive.
While I’m yet to receive my order, reading other reviews, I’m sure I will not be disappointed.
Ethics, transparent, integrity, high standards are a few words that could describe Nakie. This is a rarity these days, so we need to support small businesses such as Nakie as they’re the ones who take quality up a notch with their lifetime guarantee.

Your marketing clearly stated “order now, in time for Christmas delivery.” Based on this assurance, I placed my order in good faith. However, the products did not arrive until the 9th of January, well after Christmas and our planned New Year holiday.

Because the order failed to arrive as advertised, I was forced to place a repeat order with an alternative supplier at short notice so we could proceed with our holiday plans. That competitor delivered within 24 hours, and unfortunately, their products also proved to be of better quality.

This was a disappointing experience. The delay, combined with the misleading delivery promise, caused unnecessary inconvenience and additional expense. I was offered a punitive $30 voucher as a apology, perhaps I could buy myself “free”delivery. Clearly they are spending large on algorythyn marketing and not customer service. I would not recommend this company

Not only are the product patterns beautiful and well made, but the customer service has been wonderful.
I had an issue with my picnic blanket coming undone at the seams (note, I've recommended this item to many family and friends, and it is the only one that had this issue. I also have other Nakie items) and the team were exceptional at listening to my concerns and honouring the warranty. They generously sent out a new blanket to replace it.

I read SO many reviews of people either not receiving their items or receiving them weeks or months later with very little explanation, so I'll be honest I was super on the fence about ordering.

But I had heaps of time to deal with delays if that happened before needing my item and I love that they're fully recycled, plant trees etc so I was willing to risk it. And it totally paid off haha. Ordered my item on the 29th December from Australia and it arrived to me in rural NZ today 8th Jan.

Maybe I got lucky, who knows but I can't fault the experience. I did pay a little extra for "shipping protection", which feels a little off - I would hope most companies would just front the cost if anything went wrong in the post to do right by the customer but at $4 I thought it might be worth the investment given the reviews I'd read.

I can't speak for the quality as I haven't used it yet but it seems great. Arrived as described. Only odd thing to note is they speak so much about their use of recycled materials and trees planted for the environment, but nowhere do they mention where the goods are actually manufactured. I'd love some information on how ethical the factories are but couldn't find it anywhere.

Overall though, I received what I ordered so could definitely say you could trust it 🥰

I ordered the wrong size, got in touch with the team at Nakie ( afternoon on Christmas eve!) and the team responded that evening! Every response (as dealt with a few team members ) were all positive and quick to respond to help me organise an exchange for the right size.

Products I purchased were the kids beach towels with the zips. Great product and have had so many comments on where I got them.

Really slow shipping. Nakie signalled that there would be a delay in dispatch because of Christmas and I factored this in. However, it took even more days before the backpacks were dispatched and this was only after I contacted them. Altogether....5 weeks for my backpacks to get to NZ. While the quality of the bags is very good, the delays in shipping meant my son will not now get his Christmas present tomorrow.

Update: It arrived before Christmas BUT NOT IN TIME to give to him for Christmas. He lives in another city so I had to make a four hour trip to give it to him. Although you KNEW your warehouses and staff could not keep up with demand, you still were aggressively marketing AND promising pre Christmas delivery. This is disingenuous. I was getting up to four emails a day from Nakie spamming me with special offers and product information. I had to block you. Disappointing since what I had ordered was so delayed. From my documentation,it seems that my order was not even processed until I sent my first enquiry about the delivery delay. Do not recommend.

Made a purchase on 31/10/2025, lightyears away from Black Friday sales. There was no say of a pre-order for the Olive tarp. Till today, i have not receive my package yet. Customer service Jed was accommodating at first saying it was a pre-order and they didn’t had stock. Given the benefit of doubt, as long as it came before Christmas. Last email saying they have received stock, but the tracking had no information till days later.
