They take your money and do not offer refunds. Didn't realize the product was a re-occurring charge and I no longer have used it for nearly a year. It was purchased in 2/23 and used once. It wasn't a great software. But my issue is that on 12/30 they send a reminder email about if you want to cancel that it must be by the 1/1/25. 2 days is not enough of a reminder and a slimy tactic to ensure people who are busy or on vacation will not have the opportunity to cancel their service. Instead I was charged $30 and contacted them on 1/2 to get a refund. I was told they are incapable of refunding and wound up paying $30 for the 1 days worth of service I did not intend to use. Notice how all of the reviews on this website are bad yet all of the ones featured on their website are nothing but 5 stars? This is because this company is full of money-hungry liars profiting off of a software that does little to nothing. I can't stress this enough DO NOT give this company any of your money. They don't respect their customers and we should not support them.

The company does not allow you to stop renewal of subscription. It was time of yearly renewal. I called to say no. They offered half price for another year. I agreed. I was then billed $29.99 and also $19.99 which was the previous monthly cost. Agents completely uncooperative again. I canceled my autopay via PayPal and uninstalled mycleanpc. So we will see what happens.

Avoid using this company at all costs. Like others on here I thought I was signing up for a yearly subscription for Pc cleaning software but buyer beware you are actualy signing up for a monthlty charge of £20.00 a month for tech support? who would knowingly agree to this surely you would expect to pay a per occasion charge if required on your PC. Turns out and its a lesson well learned by me that as you quickly flick through the acceptance paragraphs and pages of terms and conditions and in your haste to get the software working I am sure I am not the only one that has been guilty this as in general we accept companies to have reasonable terms and conditions but that was a big mistake using this company and I have learned a hard lesson here. I have emailed tis company over 10 times asking them to cancel my subscription and if there is any auto renewal cancel it, that also I did not ask for any refund of annual subscription but the £20.00 a month tech support has been cancelled due to it being requested within the first month. I did recieve one email reply from My Clean PC where they apologised for problem and would set about addressing all the termination requests and send my a confirmation email when tasks complete, 6 days passed and suprise suprise no confirmation email as yet ?and they have addressed nothing .I have sent three follow up emails to them and it seems thay have chosen to completely and thy now ignore me . So I have instructed my Bank/Credit card company to place a block on any future payment from this conpany as I have lost all trust in them for the reasons stated above . I have deleted this software from my Pc and accepted my subscription is a written off loss on my part . As for the software I am no Tech but I think you would be better off using Ccleaner which is free ,thats what I do along with disk cleanup and deleting temp files using microsoft software . This company in my opinion is the worst company I have ever dealt with online . I did try signing in to my account online and drilling down to my subscriptions in an attempt to cancel myself and when I got to that Heading no subscriptions were listed but remember My Clean Pc would sort that out and send me a confirmation email still waiting ?do yourself a big favour stay away from this company, at first I thought that a lot of the one star reviews accusing the company of all sorts were over the top but if I could award this company no stars I would not hesitate to do so

Like so many other reviewers, I was offered a one year subscription to MyCleanPC as a one off time limited price. This was obviously a way of luring people in. Surely, this is a perfect example of "shape practice". It appears that "buried" in the contract there is a further "on-going" payment attached! Again, I was replying to a "one off " offer, and not an offer with strings attached. The public really should be protected against such underhand practices.

I ordered a copy of My Clean PC in September and was billed £19.18 for what I thought was a one-off paymeny. Today received another bill for the same amount. I queried it and it seems there is a thing called Live Tech which is charged monthly unless you cancel it. Cancellation stipulation is not exactly clear on the company's documentation so make sure your read what's on the e-paperwork. I won't do that agaian in a hurry!

Similar to what I've seen others say, after you subscribe and call to activate, they try to up-sell you on more products. Rep was very aggressive and rude and actually hung up on me when I said I was not interested in any additional products. Now I see a recurring bill debited from my account. It's supposedly been canceled now after calling them, but I'll be watching as I have little trust in them. If you deal with these people, proceed with caution. I know that I'm done with them. I suppose somewhere in the fine print, there was some kind of "clause" or "disclosure" of sorts explaining that they're able to do this, but I don't recall seeing it. Never again.

I had auto renew off but they turned it on. I made sure it wasn't on renew. They then stole my money. Also refused to give the money back. I only used it couple times. The agent was horrible, instead of helping they tried to push more products on me instead of helping me. I don't have much energy with Being disabled so them stealing from me just adds to the stress

In the past year I have cancelled my subscription to MyCleanPC. In both cases I received an email confirming the cancellation. In August of 2024 I received an email from MyCleanPC which I didn't pay any attention to because i had cancelled my subscription in February. Now I see in my August credit card statement a charge for renewing my subscription. I called customer service to inquire about the charge and was informed that although I had previously cancelled I had not cancelled the automatic renewal of part my subscription. These people are underhanded in how they do business and I strongly recommend that no one ever do business with them. They will argue with you about cancelling your subscription, and try and talk you into some other service in lieu of refunding your money.

I signed up for a yearly service of a scan of my computer with software they provided. They started charging me monthly. I called and cancelled and they wouldn't refund my money back to me. I never up signed up for a monthly service. I called my credit card companies to stop more charges from coming through.

Scam. Automatically 'opted in' for a monthly service fee of $19.95. I did not sign up for the monthly fee when I requested the one time service

I had Clean PC on my old computer. Bought a new computer and called Clean PC to cancel my subscription. They said that they had cancelled my subscription, but they continued to charge my bank account $19.95 for tech support. After a heated exchange with one of their Reps that could hardly speak English they agreed to return my money in 7 to 10 days. I will never use Clean PC again.

I want to cancel my subscription. It is too hard to use. You have already taken out an extra $19.95. Do not take out any more money for this product. If you do, I will sue you. I have removed "mycleanpc" from my computer.

I purchased one product, was offered a second free of charge. Got charged for both. Requested refund, they just tried persistently to sell me more product. Reported as a scam and suspected fraud.

This is a scam by a criminal organization. I originally subscribed for a laptop that was running slowly. MyCleanPC did not improve performance. I bought a new laptop and called to cancel. I was assured my subscription would be cancelled. I was charged a renewal. I again called to cancel. I just received another email saying that the service was about to be renewed for $250. I am furious. I called to cancel and was told they could not cancel because the SystemMechanic software was still running. I no longer own the laptop that was originally used. I told the tech support that if they can see the software running (which they cannot) then they can disable it. The laptop was put in the garbage and the hard drive destroyed. Avoid MyCleanPC at all costs - or it will cost you more than they advertise.

Do not be suckered into this scam. There is very little customization. I called to cancel the subscription. A year later I got charged again. I called and a rude customer service rep not from the United States tried to tell me I only cancelled the monthly subscription but not the yearly subscription. He then insulted me by telling me "It's only $20, it's cheap". You do not tell people what is affordable to them or not. What a scam.

I too was suckered in by online reviews rating MyPCClean as one of the best and cost effective PC cleaners on the market.

I paid the $19.95 yearly subscription which seemed reasonable and downloaded it. On install a pop up came up telling me to ring a USA phone number to activate my account though. Being in the UK I realised that would cost me a fortune, so used the live chat service to question if that was the only way to do it. An agent thsnkfully activated it for me as I had also been subscribed to the live 24/7 technical support service free for the first month too unknowingly. I used the cleaner and haven't noticed much improvement, but I also haven't used my laptop much to notice it either.

A month later I am charged another $19.95. Hang on! This is no longer cheaper that Norton or any reputable company I could have used. Yep, they've got me on the monthly subscription to the live tech support haven't they! F#@kers! I've had to use the live tech support to get them to cancel it, but they will only do that from next month. Good scam that. 👏 Just praying that they definitely cancel it for next month now. In fact going by other reviews I'd better cancel my yearly renewal too or else they'll get me on that next year too. 🤔 I definitely DON'T recommend that PC Cleaner and wish I'd read these reviews beforehand now. GAHHH!
