Initially offered 4 weeks free which was great but then decided to pay the full year fee. Thought you could browse all films on the platform to watch, but only a select few movies are shown and you can actually watch. Most of the films have weird concepts better sticking with major streaming platforms. Decided to end subscription. Not worth it in my opinion.

I think it's a scam. I signed up, paid for the subscription, and it's not active! There's no way to cancel the subscription online. I had to block my credit card to avoid further charges. No one answers on any network. And you can see they're not responding on Trustpilot either. Seriously, stay away!

Mubi service is poor work. Try to make subscription - Mubi charged my card but service not working. Support is slow and not helpfull. Maybe cheaters or bad service. Don't use Mubi for real. I think this is fake.

J'ai résilié mon abonnement en février 2026 et aujourd'hui, je suis à nouveau prélevé pour un abonnement mensuel. Eh oui, cette plateforme frauduleuse a recours aux dark patterns pour vous faire croire que vous avez bien résilié votre abonnement alors qu'en réalité vous l'avez seulement suspendu

Auswahl ist schon ordentlich kuratiert!

Dass das Sortiment relativ klein ist, ist gewollt. Ich habe dort schon ein paar echte Perlen entdeckt und an sich mag ich den Dienst sehr.

Immer die neuesten Sachen aus Cannes, Klassiker etc. Die Breite des Sortiments ist schon ok. Die tiefe fehlt leider wirklich ein wenig.

Was ich an den anderen, teilweise schlechten Bewertungen teilen kann ist der Preis. 15,99€ im Monat? Das sind bald 200€ im Jahr! Dafür ist das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis lange nicht gut genug. Also wirklich, für den Preis müsste da einiges passieren.

Die 70€ für ein Jahr waren völlig ok. 15,99€ sind dagegen echt einfach unverschämt.

Daher habe ich meinen Account auch nicht mehr verlängert.

I found it difficult to find anything I wanted to watch but was on a free trail so din't feel I lost anything. Be very careful signing up though. No automated reminder for renewal. So make sure you cancel once the trial of the terrible app is over. If you message to query billing you will get a response 'we are very busy right now' then that's it.

Film anche belli ma solo lingua originale, può essere apprezzato ma vorrei scegliere.
Quello che sembra ben organizzato è la difficoltà a disdire l'abbonamento che confrontato con altri risulta estremamente caro.
Metto 1 stella perché quando proponi una promozione sia per valutare il servizio non per fare di tutto perché uno paghi comunque un mese.
Pii volte volevo disdire ma mi sono sempre stancato prima, quando poi mi hanno addebitato ci sono riuscito con l'aiuto dell'ai

La scelta delle pellicole è buona, peccato che la gestione degli abbonamenti sia un po' truffaldina bisogna sbrigarsi a cancellare dalla carta il pagamento o segnarsi bene le date di scadenze delle varie offerte sottoscritte altrimenti zac! perché non ci sono avvisi di sorta

Decent movie selection, although it could include some high quality and less heavy loaded movies. Unfortunately the app is absolutely horrendous, both on iPad and Fire Stick. On iPad it takes ages to download movies (and I'd love to do that before travelling or going somewhere without WiFi connection), and keeps buffering a lot. On Fire Stick it's the same: poor quality, pixelation and constant buffering and stopping. A really frustrating experience overall.

I'm surprised the rating is so low for MUBI, so I wanted to share my experience because I've been very happy with the site.

I signed up for the 90-day trial and watched a variety of films.

I'm very pleased with the selection because there's a lot of films from around the world, lots of newer/older films and lots of films that are hard-to-find elsewhere. At the current time there's about 550 films available to watch. I watched a lot of films that I rated highly.

The site worked correctly for me on the desktop website and on my tablet in both browser and the app.

All films had optionally available subtitles, which all seemed to be correct/official (i.e. not AI). There's also an option to make the subtitles bigger.

The films on MUBI are my type of films, so I was happy with that, but I appreciate they aren't going to be suitable for everyone. It's easy to get a sense of the type of films available by looking at the front page.

I'm seeing a lot of reviews where people were confused about the selection of films that were available. For that reason I think it would be best if the Browse page defaulted to having "Now showing" on, rather than off.

I needed to contact support, who replied promptly and fully resolved my question on the first reply.

I'll be checking out the site again in the future and will most likely sign up when there's a few more films that I want to see.

Nice selection of films, quite an artistic platform. Ypu probably won’t find the latest hi-octane Hollywood slop here but you will find thoughtful cinema.

I just wanted to post a review to say that redeeming a code from my Samsung TV was not straightforward.

On the offers section of my Samsung TV it had a code for 70% for 6 months. In itself this is a great deal but every road seemingly leads to a 7 day free trial.

The Google A.I suggested to sign up for the free trial and then to rapidly enter the code in settings. I didn’t feel like doing this as it felt like it would most likely go wrong.

I combed the site and googled multiple questions, even read old Facebook and Reddit posts.

In the end I had the idea to just google ‘MUBI redeem code’ , sure enough an actual page on the MUBI website for redeeming codes! It’s there but gosh is it well hidden.

I don’t know why they don’t have a ‘redeem code’ option on their subscription page or a deals page or something. The cinic in me says that this is part of the predatory business tactic of getting people to sign up for short free trials in the hope they will forget.

Would like to give more stars but wasted a decent amount of my time on this today just tryi;g to get my code working, should have been straightforward but it was anything but, 3 stars are warranted here.

Meritano di fallire, questi sono i veri ladri! Per togliere dalle loro grinfie la tua carta di credito è una chimera in cui ho impiegato 4-5 ore della mia vita!

Ero un po’ scettico leggendo le recensioni negative, ma Mubi ha accettato di annullare il mio abbonamento a seguito di un aumento che avevo dimenticato e mi hanno riaccreditato i soldi senza problemi. Sono stato iscritto sei mesi e nel complesso giudico l'esperienza estremamente positiva.

I went for the 3months for £1 trial subscription and started watching. I had an issue initially as checking my bank statement Mubi had charged me the initial £1 but also an extra £7 I contacted Customer Service querying this and they stated I had chosen Mubi Go as an add on. I had managed to do this by mistake, had no notification of this and if I hadn’t checked my statement would never have known. My email was replied to quickly and Mubi explained what I had done. I emailed back and explained I had done this by mistake and could I have a refund. Again a quick reply stating the refund of the £7 had been processed. So in my experience the customer service so far has been excellent. A shout out to Mubi team member, Lance who sorted my issue quickly and effectively.
The playback quality I have found 2 weeks into the trial to be great.As to content The film selection is initially disappointing once you realise that you have to switch to ‘Now Showing’ to watch what’s available. But I have seen some excellent and enjoyable films I probably wouldn’t have thought of looked at. I really enjoyed Martin Rejtman’s ‘The Practice’ and will certainly watch the rest of his available films on the site. I watched Jim Jarman’s ‘Patterson’ last night and Thouroughly enjoyed it.
The trial subscription is fantastic value and I look forward to watching some great films. I have to say though, I’m a little worried about when it comes time to cancel…so I may review again at the end of the trial. Also I wish Mubi would comment on some reviews. Their star score is very poor and it would be good to see them addressing some of the issues that seem to be coming up time and again in many of the 1 star reviews. To conclude… I would say enjoy. There is some fantastic content, but be careful and check you are paying what you think you are.

me agrada el catalogo, pero es horrible el reproductor web, uso un monitor 21:9 y es un dolor de cabeza intentar ver cualquier cosa de esta plataforma así

Ich hab ein 3 monatiges Mubi Abo für 1 Euro abgeschlossen. Ich bin Fan außergewöhnlicher Filme und dachte auf Mubi finde ich sicher einige Perlen die es bei den meisten Streaminganbietern nicht gibt. Die Auswahl ist ein schlechter Scherz. Ich habe eine watchlist gefunden und ich dachte alle diese Filme könnte ich schauen. Von wegen. Ich Frage mich was das soll..ich hab jetzt bereit 3 Film geschaut und mich zu Tode gelangweilt... Auch verstehe ich den regulären Preis von 15.99 für diese mikrige und miserable Auswahl nicht. Ich werde noch in der Testphase kündigen. Das war's für mich. Ich kaufe jetzt alles auf DVD so lange ich noch kann.
Achso und fast vergessen auf meinem Fire TV stick läuft kein Film flüssig, es ruckelt und stockt. Kann nur auf dem PC schauen, das ist erst Recht ein Kündigungsgrund.
Achso und dann ist noch fast alles in Originalsprache mit Untertiteln... nein einfach nein .

Un engaño total. No vale la pena. Casi no tiene nada, aunque te engañan para que parezca que tienen un buen catálogo. Cualquier otra plataforma es mucho mejor.
