Good database of recipes with some great ideas. Both website and app however lack clever filtering. It would be so incredibly more convenient to be able to filter by nutritional value (ie, recipes containing “X ingredient, more than 50g protein and less than 100g carbs”), also lacks ability to remove recipes containing a certain food. Very limited in the search and filtering, hence why cannot give the full 5 stars. For a paid service, it is lacking - in the era of the internet, free recipes could be found anywhere.

Search function doesn't always give relevant responses. Reporting such errors is not simple. Frustrating to use.

There are some really lovely recipes on Mob, but I get shown the same ones over and over again. Also, the recipes really could do with proof reading as there's a lot of errors

I find the recipes exciting and inspiring. Especially with the vegetarian and vegan choices. Website well set out. Ingredients and method clear.
Would definitely recommend.

Most of the recipes I’ve tried have been delicious and it’s great for ideas!

It’s pretty decent but a lot of inconsistencies in recipes, ingredients that show up in shopping lists but not in the recipes. I think the worst part is that I can’t share the recipes with my partner when he’s cooking. That has got to be the worst part of it. Otherwise, it’s really helpful, albeit regularly frustrating.

Recipes are a bit repetitive, directions regularly missing. Some only include instructions for air fryer (I don't have one!)
Won't renew, don't use it very often.

Mob is brilliant. In its current state I love the ease of setting up my shopping and the of the 15 meals I’ve made so far, I’ve had 100% success. It’s great to also inspire my cooking where I can add bits and bobs without panic of ruining anything. Granted I haven’t tried many of the harder recipes but for the easy, high protein, healthy options it’s super. A way of sharing shopping would be great but that wouldn’t change my 5* rating. It has also helped me reduced waste and plan using ingredients without chucking things away, and to buy more locally and seasonally. I’ve recommended to others and they are loving it too!

Saw an add and clicked on free trial. Then cancelled it and wrote to customer service. But then realised I was already charged for the annual service

Customer services keeps saying they can’t find my email for subscription and can’t refund the amount.

The app itself isn’t great and not something would like to pay for. Similar recipes available online for free

Absolute awful company with sharp practices.
They offer a free trial and state there is an option to either pay monthly or for a year.
I stupidly put in my card details and expected to get a reminder to either elect for recurring payment or advise the money would be taken. I received nothing and they took the lump sum out of my account.
I politely emailed them to request a refund, but got an automated abrupt response to say in effect "tough titty". No apology or anything.
Beneath the hipster trendy face of the company lies the age old con man tactic of trapping people into unwanted subscriptions, knowing full well lots of people don't have the energy to dispute
The recipes are nothing special and appear to be AI generated as full of inconsistencies and errors.
I am going to raise a dispute with my card issuer. Hopefully if they get enough disputed transactions they will be forced to make it clearer to deal with them.
I have diagnosed ADHD which makes me forgetful and its a lesson learned to not do"free trials"

Loving the recipes and how easy they are to make. The app and web site are great. I use quite a few different recipe apps. Would love to be able to mark the ones I've cooked and also a like or dislike so I can create a bit of a curated cook book for myself.

These guys couldn’t make it more difficult to cancel - I’ve sent an email, Mob. I would encourage nobody to sign up for the free trial, it’s pretty impossible to cancel!

Didn’t realise I had subscribed for 1 yr until I saw payment come off my credit card. I emailed straight away to say i did not want the subscription. I asked for a refund. Got the old ‘nothing we can do about it’ reply.
Not sure why they have a request a refund button if there is nothing they can do about it. DONT BOTHER!

I needed a healthier eating plan and something different I got this with this site loving the smash it on sourdough tried 3 of them great dinner meal keeps you going till main meal again loads of recipes to choose from great fresh ingredients health meals

The app for cooking with instruction are pretty good but the subscription can be annoying without any notification when it's due to pay. I'd perfer to be aware of so I can decided whether to contuine subscribing or not.

So I did have one dilemma I had several tuna recipes on here for the protein smashes and it didn’t actual generate enough of the quantity I needed for tuna at the grocery store. I have to go back to there store to get the proper amount of tuna so if you can improve this little glitch it will help other people so we’re not making multiple trips to the store….i found the app really helpful overall

I’ll keep this brief because frankly I’ve already wasted enough time on this app.
Mob took an annual subscription fee from my account with zero advance notice that my trial was ending. No email. No reminder. Nothing. Just a charge.

But fine. I decided to give the app a real chance anyway, because I’m reasonable like that.
The recipes default to oz. I set the units to metric. Multiple times. It kept defaulting back to oz. I do not own a set of scales calibrated in ounces. I do not want to convert ounces.
The “high protein” recipes are not high in protein. I can generate better, more nutritionally balanced recipes with accurate metric measurements using tools that cost me nothing. So what exactly am I paying for?
When I contacted support to request a refund politely, I might add they copy-pasted their terms and conditions at me and called it a day. Apparently “we told you at checkout” is considered customer service now.
The concept is fine. The execution is not. And the customer service response was, in the most technical sense, words arranged in an order.
Do not recommend.

Really love the variety of recipes. The app is easy to follow and love the convenience it provides when it comes to planning out the weekly meals and food shop. Shame that the ‘mark as cooked’ has been removed or am I missing something!
