Mob has been extremely responsive and understanding in navigating a cancellation for me. Great customer service.

I signed up for a free trial, never used the app, and completely forgot to cancel it. I accept that this was my responsibility. However, when I signed up, I expected to receive a reminder before the trial ended and subscription charges began, as many reputable companies provide.

What I find frustrating is that no reminder was sent, which feels like a sneaky underhand practice. The only email I received was 10 months later when a payment failed because I had replaced my bank card. That was the first time I realised I had been paying for a service I had never used.

Under UK law, companies are legally required to send you a written reminder notice before a free or discounted trial ends.While the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers (DMCC) Act does not strictly name "email" as the only method, it dictates that companies must send this warning in writing via a "durable medium". In practice, this almost always means an email, a downloadable PDF, or an SMS text message.

Initial problems with registering.
Helpline responsive and resolved problem however it took many emails. I tried the chatline but it failed to work.
I will review again when I have tried the recipes.

I've been really pleased with MOB so far. I've been grateful for something to give me more ideas to cook from - I've tried the Hello Fresh and Gousto services, but they felt quite basic in their recipes. I'm a good cook; I just get stuck in a rut with ideas, and am fed up of having to think of what's for dinner all the time. My favourite feature is having the ingredients that are relevant to the step below it so you don't have to keep scrolling/switching between the method and the ingredients list. Still finding our favourite meals, but have had one really delicious one that I'll be adding to my repertoire.

Generally, I love this app - it’s gotten me back into cooking which I’m really enjoying. Overall the recipes are amazing, so delicious, and it’s really helping us to budget as a household and minimise waste - really big impact here.

There are a number of issues though - namely the quantities aren’t always accurate, particularly when generating a shopping list for multiple recipes; it’s hit and miss whether the correct icons for the ingredients required at each stage of the method are shown; and despite being Pescatarian and saying so on the app, I keep getting recommended chicken dishes!

Overall great app - amazing recipes and very clean app design. Makes me look forward to my weekly meal-prep!

I had mob for less than a year and loved the recipes however deleted the app and my subscription was still payed. I emailed their help line and was responded to almost instantly where my subscription was cancelled and refunded kindly and efficiently. Great customer support.

A fantastic resource for recipes that you know are based on good food choices. Haven’t found a duff recipe yet and many have made many a return outing and on my favs list. Thanks

I like it, only had it a couple of weeks but we ran out of ideas & get fed up of having the same meals for dinner. A lot of meals in a similar style & in a bowl though but apart from that it’s good.

This is my second year and I’ve renewed my Mob annual subscription. I love the mob recipes and the app is pretty easy to use! I’ve never had any major issues just some small glitches but they’re always updating and adding new features

Difficult to cancel subscription if you can't remember how you signed up! If you sign up through the app it's easy as you just go to subscriptions on your phone but if you didn't then you are told to go to mob.co.uk and cancel from there but it's not clear when you're on the website how to cancel. I did a free trial then forgot to cancel so got charged £40 for the year which is an absoloute rip off. Personally I think if you forget to cancel then you should be auto-charged monthly so you can easily cancel without paying a fortune. Customer service isn't helpful. They claim they have thousands of recipes but alot of them are really similar. The filter options aren't that great - you have to apply them evey time you search for something which adds time to the "quick search" they claim to have. Overall I would say don't waste your money and find recipes online for free.

I like the recipes, but I find them a bit limited, there are not much choices, expecially for dishes from Eastern Europe, or more traditional ones.

It will be great if there are more videos on how to make the recipes.

Really like the quick easy and nutritious recipes. As a serious master runner, l am always looking for variety and inspirational foods that suit all my training needs. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to future recommendations and recipes.

Some nice receipes but a lot of them have ingredients not carried into the method.

Downloaded the app on a whim as i was rotating across the same recipes every week. Mob has been an absolute game changer. I have cooked at least 15 recipes in the last month and they are all soooo good. The best part about it is that it categorises the items in your shopping basket by meats, veggies etc so it makes shopping for the items very easy.

Recipes are fine, but some are poorly written. They'll say something like "add a lime" - a whole lime? The juice?
Lazy editing. Only paid for a year because I forgot to cancel the 6 day trial.
