I’m upgrading my rating from one to four stars, deducting just one star for the initial problems. If you’re having issues, don’t rush to your computer like I did—contact the company first.

Very poor TV. I find it unreliable, remote only works within a foot of the TV!
Firstly I'm sure most of these TVs are manufactured by Cello.
I purchased a 24 inch TV to replace a Samsung that was over twenty years old, still working perfectly but starting to look it's age.
The new TV was easy to set up, picture is brilliant and the sound very good. What is very disappointing is the operating system. I've never known anything so slow on any TV I've owned. Even loading the normal TV guide takes ages. I've checked and the software is fully updated and the TV signal is 100%. I didn't expect this on a brand new up to date product.
To be honest the old Samsung worked better and I should have kept it. Maybe I'm expecting too much for £190 but the buying choice was very limited as I wanted a white television.
Hopefully there will be future updates that will resolve this issue.
An update.
I got more and more frustrated with the faults on the TV so I contacted Mitchell and Brown by Email. Within an hour they replied and after an online conversation they agreed to replace the TV. Brilliant, I thought, customer service. The TV was sent out next day delivery but even though I confirmed my address they sent it to the wrong house number. Luckily they found it in their garage and delivered it to me. So I unpacked the TV and found they had sent me a used TV with the screen scratched and covered in fingerprints, no remote control, mains lead or screws for fixing the stand. I contacted them again and asked for a new unused TV but they have none in stock and are sending a courier to collect both and refunding the purchase price. Now this is a TV still in production so why they have they none in stock or why couldn't they ask me to wait until one was available ?
All I can say is if you get a TV from them that works correctly they are good but if anything goes wrong with it be prepared.
Great company , we had a problem with our TV after a few weeks. Mand B sent a new one straight away and collected the faulty one , no problem. The TV has been good ever sonce

Picture quality is absolutely excellent. I am really happy with the build quality and you can’t go wrong supporting a British product. I have used customer support and that to was really helpful. I’d definitely recommend.
Purchased our first Mitchell & Brown tv 7 years ago, & were so impressed with it, bought a smaller one with integral DVD player for a bedroom, a year later. As the 7year warranty is at an end for one, & almost for the other, would certainly consider Mitchell &Brown products as replacement.
Good picture quality. Excellent sales rep and fantastic after sales with Mitchell and Brown. Sales rep came to house and set everything up. Would highly recommend.
I cannot fault this company. We brought a TV from them around 4 years ago. The set went wrong after a short while so I contacted the customer service department.
I had to send a couple of photos to them to show the problem I was having, after after seeing them they came straight back to me saying they were sending a new TV which they did within a couple of days. I used the box the new one came in to return the old one and they sent a courier to collect a day or so later. The new TV has been perfect ever since.. I think the service I have been provided with is second to none and will be using M&B again without hesitation when the need eventually arises..
The TV is great, and meets my needs, overall completely satisfied with the picture and sound. Good value for money

Very poor not to work with your own product
This is my personal opinion / review of my Mitchell and Brown Android TV. It is without doubt, the worst TV I have ever had for the following reasons;
1) It is painfully slow, changing channels takes an age.
2) When watching a TV channel, it will connect to the internet WITHOUT me having pushed any buttons on the remote to do so.
3) The remote is very hit and miss, you have to push the selected channel a number of times for it to actually change channels.
4) Connecting to the internet takes an eternity and once it has connected, selecting something such as BBC iPlayer takes just as long and is often unstable. And NO, it's not my internet connection or speed, every other device that requires the internet runs quickly and efficiently including my Panasonic TV.
I really wanted to like it, to support British business and the 7 year guarantee was a factor but I have to say, I wish I'd never bought it.
If anyone from Mitchell and Brown reads this and takes issue with what I have said, please feel free to contact me or for that matter come and see for yourself just how poor your product is.

TV is good but we have a query about getting Apple TV on to it. Have phoned multiple times and “someone will call back”. They don’t. Pretty rude.
Would have graded 5 stars if I hadn't had to make 3 phone calls before I could speak to someone.
Having said that, my tv was taken to be repaired and was loaned one until it was returned 2 days later.
It was upgraded with several new parts and is working just fine.

REASSURING FEEDBACK AND ACTION KEY
We purchased our MB TV in March 2019, in May 2025 we started to have a problem where the TV wasn't picking up a digital signal. We knew the relay station was working so contacted MB by email. Prompt response from Martin and after checking a couple of things in the setup, he decided that the TV needed to be returned for testing. They sent a box and packaging. The TV arrived with them on a Friday morning and we had an email saying that it had arrived and was being tested, mid afternoon the same day email saying a new main board had been fitted and TV was on its way back to us. TV delivered at lunch time and all set up and working within the hour.
Excellent TV's and exceptional service. this TV was over 6years old!

Televisions are so poor, connection or disconnection to the internet causes the tv to become unresponsive which becomes very frustrating. Screensharing is also a big issue to complete such an easy task on a samsung or LG.
Do not buy if you want an easy or simple entertainment experience, go for any other TV.
