This was my first visit to Mike’s dive store to buy a high end BCD. I was served by Chi who could not have been more helpful. As a relatively inexperienced diver, I appreciated Chi’s expert advice. She listened well, took me through various accessory options for the BCD, helped me choose and then took the time to assemble them for me. Personable, attentive and with comprehensive product knowledge, she is a credit to your store.
I was also helped by Charlie, who advised me on the operation of my dive computer, which I had brought with me.
Together, Chi & Charlie also advised me on which fins to buy, explaining the intricacies of fin design and the effect in to water, and I duly bought a pair and am very pleased with them.

I did some research on the internet and came across Mikes Dive Store that is close to where I live. I visited the store and was served by Chi who was extremely helpful and understanding as I was not sure about the items I was buying, she gave very good advice and explained everything in a manner that was very easy to understand.

Great dive store. Well laid out with warehouse out the back. Chi helped us with our long list of items and questions! Chi was immensely knowledgeable, patient and friendly. Really made the effort to ensure we got what we wanted and lots of advice to help us choose. Will definitely return.

I have a trip planned to Bali, it’s one of the best places on earth for scuba diving and snorkelling, all sounds dreamy! Only one problem… I’m blind. Ok well not blind, but I really do need my glasses.

I went on the hunt for a prescription lenses and a mask for my trip, as I didn’t want to miss out!
Rachel on the customer service desk answered my call and all of my questions, she advised based on the right product, not the most expensive.. even if I was keen to spend my money. I can’t recommend Mikes Dive Store enough, I’m sure all the staff are great with a wealth of experience… but if you land on a call with Rachel, you have won top prize.

Fantastic customer support. I can’t commend this store enough and in particular Rachel for her customer support. All done remotely by email - she gently educated me and helped me purchase new dive mask with bifocal lenses and a suitable snorkel. I am an experienced diver but have been out of the water for a few years during which time my vision has changed and I could no longer read my computer or gauges...well I can now! New equipment arrived today and I’m dive ready again. Very efficient and friendly service from start to finish. I highly recommend this store.

Spoke to someone on the phone, they recommended a certain fin and advised on sizing. The fins arrived and are totally the wrong size. I wear 48 or 49 in every shoe I own, the fins were supposed to be 47/49 and yet they are HUGE, no good at all. Spoke to someone on the phone and they say I now have to pay £10 to send them back and then wait 14 days for the refund. I won't shop here again, plenty of other online retailers around. I will get the replacement fins from Amazon, who actually help you when things go wrong.

As soon as we walked in the door we were asked if we needed help, delightful young lady think her name was Isabelle, she kitted myself and my husband out for a snorkelling trip to Thailand, also giving us a few tips on our upcoming trip, she was nice and polite and didn’t rush us, would definitely recommend coming here especially if your a novice. Thank you

I absolutely love Mike’s Dive Shop. I’ve been shopping with them for years now, and they’re one of those dive shops that I genuinely trust. From buying equipment to having my gear serviced, I know I’m in good hands and even though it’s a bit of a drive for me to get there, I know it’s always worth it. This visit was absolutely no different.

I went in to replace my beloved AquaLung Linea mask...which, quite honestly, I did NOT want to replace, but sadly I had to. I was a little apprehensive about finding something that would live up to it, but Chi was absolutely amazing.

She immediately understood what I loved about the Linea and exactly what I was looking for in a replacement. She was incredibly knowledgeable and talked me through all of the options that would suit me, across a range of price points. I wasn’t particularly concerned about price, I just wanted the best possible replacement, and Chi really took the time to find the right options rather than simply trying to sell me something.

She was also incredibly patient while I tried everything on, answered all my questions, and gave genuinely helpful advice throughout. I never felt rushed or pressured, and it was obvious that she really knew her stuff.

Replacing a mask I absolutely loved was always going to be a difficult task, but Chi made the whole process so much easier and I left feeling confident that I’d found the right one.

A huge thank you to Chi for being so helpful, knowledgeable and patient, and to Mike’s Dive Shop for continuing to be a dive shop I know I can trust. The fact that I’m happy to make the journey every time says it all. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! 🤿💕

Flo was extremely helpful with everything. My husband bought a wetsuit and I bought a Suunto console, but the wetsuit I wanted wasn't in stock in my size. Flo checked online at the warehouse and they also had no stock, so he took my full details and promised to contact me when it came in. It actually arrived when he was on holiday - I saw it on their online site, contacted the store, was told to order it and did so. The customer service is excellent and at no time did we feel rushed.

Mike's has always had an excellent product range, so choosing the right setup can be even more difficult as everything then becomes fine margins. In this particular instance, a wing. Fortunately, Lily's excellent product knowledge and thorough understanding of the environments I'd be using it in (final choice: Xdeep Zen Ultralight) , as well as how I'd need to configure it pre-dive, helped me compare and contrast so that I felt I ended up with the best option for me. Thank you, Lily!

After being an online customer for a couple of dive items I visited the store for advice on a new BCD and could not have been happier with the help and advice I had from Tom. Even ended up walking out with a wetsuit! Won’t hesitate to use online or visit again for any more dive kit I may need in the future. Thanks guys
