Delivery issue, no fault of Magnet Chess
I ordered 2 sets. Got worried after not receiving parcel quite a while after they sent it. However, it turned out to be human error with the delivery person at the New Zealand end, plus a ripped Address label. I tracked it down. No fault of Magnet Chess Shop. The game is great
The game is great! Delivery was subpar. I got easily confirmation but no order number. Then about 2 werks later, I got an email asking if I was enjoying the game, but it still hadn't arrived.
I reported the issue to customer support and the game showed up a couple days later before I got a response from support.

Absolutely love this magnet game
Absolutely love this magnet game, I bought a couple as felt we needed it. My grandkids are always asking to play, the game took a bit of time to come but after dealing with the lovely Daniela everything was resolved and I have received them, I would actually recommend this to everyone.. happy playing

Game is great for all ages
Game is great for all ages. But delivery of the game took way too long and we did not receive it for Christmas as we wished. Several months later we received emails asking if we received the game. They have followed up 6 months later they checked to see if we received it, and apologized for the delay. Poor service but good game.

Scammer beware
Scammer beware - Ordered 2 sets on 13/07/2026. Was sent tracking info, but after 14 days, still not sent. They said they followed up and it was due to be sent in a couple of days. I requested the order be cancelled and a refund. I contacted PayPal and they refunded me instantly.
They are obviously a scammer!

All is forgiven
I ordered 3 sets before christmas and had to wait a long time. Eventually they arrived in the beginning of march.
Although the delivery time was frustrating, the quality of the game is excellent.
And eventhough the comapny had some ordering issues due to the fact that they are a startup and couldn't handle the large demand at the time, the customer service tried their best to help me. They even contacted me personally recently to work out an arrangement.
That's why I changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars.

It's a nice game
It's a nice game. I use it in my occupational therapy clinic as a planning and executive functioning game. It's cute, simple, and fun. In my opinion, the price is a bit high for what you get, and the shipping was a little slow. Overall, though, I'm satisfied with the service.

Did not receive order from Dec 2025
Did not receive order from Dec 2025. Have emailed numerous times. Different answer each time. Promised refund in March 2026 after them acknowledging order was lost in transit. Now they state order was delivered and I should approach local postal company (7 months after order). Terrible customer service - full of apologies but nothing else. Significant delays in replies to emails also.
Update: The reply to my review by magnetchess is yet another rehash of the emails previously sent to me with no resolution/refund of a lost order. All evidence has been submitted to them yet they request the same to be submitted again. Terrible customer service still.

Total scam
UPDATE: After writing this review, customer service reached out and offered to refund my order and asked me to update to a 5 star review. I don’t quite feel like a 5 star is warranted after the dozens of emails with thoughtless replies and the amount of time I had to spend chasing this up. First, the order took ages to dispatch despite a promised Christmas delivery, so I emailed to cancel my order as Christmas had come and gone. But I got no reply for weeks despite following up. Then the order dispatched but never got delivered. So I requested a refund. I wouldn’t hear back for days/weeks at a time and would always get an email saying “they are looking into it” and that they cannot offer a refund. Finally when I write a one star review they somehow are very quick to email me and offer a refund… So I’m sorry, but unfortunately I still cannot give a 5 star rating because I still believe other consumers should stay away from this company to save them the headache. I have updated it to 2 stars as I am thankful they finally decided to do what is right and refund me.

Total scam! Never received my order that I ordered last December as a Christmas present. Customer service is a total joke. I’ve been trying to get a refund. It’s clearly not happening.

Best Game!!!
This company’s game is so much fun! I had gotten one from another company before, and it wasn’t nearly as good.
There were some hiccups with delivery during last Christmas when I ordered it, but they worked it out just fine.
This is definitely the best!

This is the biggest scam ever!
This is the biggest scam ever!! I ordered in November and still get things asking if I received my package. I received a 15% off email I laugh!! Today I receive a 10% discount. Plus told to go to the lost package department of the post office to get a certificate and once they receive it, they’ll take it to the next department to decided if I didn’t receive it. I don’t want to give them even a star. THIS IS A SCAM !!
