Excellent customer service!
I didn’t end up purchasing anything, but I had an excellent experience with customer service! I bought a jacket which was too big, I exchanged it for a smaller size but since it was still too big I ultimately asked for a refund. The customer service agent, Hannah, who I contacted via email, was super helpful! Everything from ordering to the return process to the refund, was super smooth!
Amazing customer service
You dont normally see people talk about customer service unless its a negative and I feel when companies do it right it should be talked about just as much. I'd placed an order and a few days later a new promo had launched, I contacted the email and quoted my order reference and they'd refunded me back the discount all within hours which is outstanding on something they didn't need to honour. Will certainly be back

I love the clothes and I am a loyal customer but have re-yaked two pairs of dungarees over two and half weeks ago and heard nothing! I emailed the hello@ email address twice, and they got back to me after a week or so. Think some acknowledgment would be helpful.

I bought 2 pairs of pants that were way too big despite ordering the same size as an original pair I already had. I am in Australia so I had to pay the cost to return the items as they don’t offer a swap for Australian purchases which set me back $50 AUD. I was refunded my money for the pants but really them in a smaller size. I spent the next two months trying to purchase my size via the App with nothing but issues because they kept selling out. It was a stressful experience and in the end I lost another $25 AUD for postage when I finally managed to secure the items I wanted. I will not go through this again. All up this cost me an unnecessary and expensive $75 AUD and there was no offer to compensate or ‘throw’ something in as recognition, like an offer of free shipping…

Superb customer care
Bought a fleece which I thought was fine so removed the tags, however when I tried it with different clothing realised it was too big. I contacted customer service to see what I could do and they were super helpful and really quick at responding. Really impressed by their customer care.

Beware of scammers posing as Lucy and Yak
Ordered a number of items in the sale. They never arrived and I was told they had been delivered to the wrong address. That was 2 months ago and despite requesting and then demanding a refund I am told every few days the items are on their way with no offer of a refund. Appalling service - would never order from them again.

It would appear this is a very convincing scam. The emails are from China, however I note some of the products are made in China which made me think it was real. Plus it had a copyright of Lucy and Yak.

I can’t rate Lucy & Yak highly enough. I’ve been shopping with them for years, their clothes are unique, really colourful and comfortable, also sustainable.
Their customer service is outstanding, Ella and the team recently went above and beyond to sort out an issue with an order which was actually my fault as I had put in the wrong email address. They were so lovely and helpful, sorted it out promptly. 😊

Love all my L&Y clothes. I bought a jacket for my wife for her birthday which sadly went missing at the fault of royal mail and they kindly refunded me and gave me a discount to buy another jacket. Thank you so much. X
Excellent customer service and beautiful, colourful clothes
There was a glitch with my delivery address and my parcel was returned to L&Y. After I contacted customer service Ella sorted it all out very quickly and I've received my order the next day. The service I received was well above and beyond. A very nice company to deal with in addition to the lovely clothes they sell.

I ordered another pair of Lucy and yak dungarees, my third pair as I love them so much. Unfortunately they were a bit big, so I decided to return them to my local shop in Bristol.

This Business model is worse than America!
I followed a link from Lucy and yak’s TikTok account that flaunted a warehouse sale. I was excited to try the clothing brand as on the surface it seemed an ethically sound choice amid a sea of untrustworthy disloyalty in fast fashion.
Everything was affordable on sale so I spent $100 and waited 15 days for the package. Though it was moving on the tracker- it was moving so slowly and did not emulate the natural rhythm of Mail delivery in my country so I emailed hello@lucy&yak.com and inquired about the order.
A reply came from one ‘Kat’ who confirmed the order- it’s existence and assured me I was simply being impatient- that it “would be arriving shortly”. So I waited.
The package has been in transit for 21 days as of right now and my patience has run thinner than the fried hair atop our fascist dictator Donald J Trump’s colossal melon head. So I emailed again.
This time ‘Liz’ replied with a swift “yeah you got scammed sucks to suck” and basically sashayed away. Excuse me, WHAT?! Your whole brand is ethical, reusable, trustworthy, we are different- yadda yadda. BS!
How did YOUR EMPLOYEE confirm a fraudulent order number? How did you manage not to show any care or compassion for the massive invasion of trust and privacy that YOUR CUSTOMER BASE is experiencing en mass simply because your team cannot care enough to fix issues associated with their name?
Liz did not ask for the website information, she did not attempt to know more about the issue nor did she attempt to provide any customer service. Lucy and yak just gave me the driest handy of all time and couldn’t even look me in the eye the whole time.
L&Y is as corrupt, facetious, unethical, immoral, narcissistic, and elitist that a company can be. Certainly more so than any business that I have had the displeasure of interacting with in a long time and I’m an American born into late stage capitalism. My country is eating itself from the inside out in the name of business and is STILL a better business model than Lucy and Yak. And we’re basically all skint, uneducated, overweight, unaccountable for their flaws- blatant liars with a deep seated hatred for the people that made us great.
I will continue to report Lucy and yak until they get their act together and I believe you should too. Hold these liars accountable for their facade of a brand model. How dare they put their label on colored, disabled, ostracized flesh while claiming altruism, honest effort all to avoid inclusivity in size and height while simultaneously stealing from their customers by not making good on their loyalty points and reyak submissions and ignoring the decimation of whatever good name they have left?
That’s wild wild work and I’m ashamed to have been duped by such a disrespectful and careless company such as LUCY AND YAK. Their entire website was cloned and linked to their social media. It’s a problem and they’re just ignoring it. Your paper thin and poorly constructed pieces should not cost $80. That’s it.

I cannot fault this company for excellent customer service. Every time I enter one of their stores, I am greeted by a friendly staff.
Unfortunately, my jeans ripped after less than 1 year of owning them. I contacted the team to ask for guidance - I know patching up Yaks is the next best step. They kindly gave me a voucher to purchase new jeans and suggested I either patch up my existing jeans, or return them to the shop to be Re-Yaked!
