I visited Lowdhams as I was specifically interested in an Eriba.
Sandra’s expertise, patience and customer service were invaluable to me as first time caravan owner.
Highly recommend

Lowdhams generally is a great place to view and buy a motorhome or campervan.
However, our fourth purchase from them was a little disappointing. The Swift campervan (Carerra 184 special edition) advertised with an awning did not have the awning fitted on collection. Apparently, we were told previously, this was an error by the advertising dept and our model didn’t have an awning. However, we were assured by the salesperson (more than once) that our campervan would include an awning. On collection day, there was no awning! To add insult to injury, the awning was not in stock and on a back order of four weeks.
We were also asked for paperwork for our part exchange vehicle which we had already given them! (Annoying)
Showing us the features on our camper van was done very thoroughly but the overall handover experience was underwhelming. OK, you’re doing handovers everyday, but to us it was a very special day and it was disappointing that the Lowdhams salesperson showed very little interest in the actual handover. Also it would have been nice to have a picture taken as most other people seemed to have experienced. One other suggestion to Lowdhams, as the icing on the cake and as an appreciation to each customer to make their handover day even more memorable, would be some small token like a bottle of wine or hamper. This is being offered by some competitors and its minimal cost

From first viewing through to collection Phil Howard gave us time to look, think and discuss, provided helpful information, and our questions were answered clearly.
At no time did we feel under pressure and the negotiation of the deal was relaxed and constructive. The showroom environment was comfortable with separate areas for different customers.
We had flexibility over the collection date, and having the opportunity to stay over on the rally field on collection day was really helpful as we were able to pop in and ask about a couple of things we needed clarification on.
The collection process was very well organised, with everything ready and waiting for us, with the heating on and the caravan aired ready for use. The technicians were able to fit some jack pads for us, adjust the door closing and transfer our Flogas adapter - and all done with a smile. It felt like nothing was too much trouble to ensure we were happy with our new caravan.
We wouldn't hesitate to buy from Lowdham Leisureworld again in the future, and based on our experience would be happy to recommend them to others.

If I could give negative stars I would. Sales great but once they have your money they couldn’t care less. We’ve been waiting since June 2025 for them to sort our numerous issues with a brand new motorhome to no avail. You are supposed to get called back. Yeah, right, I wish. I would not recommend and nor would I ever buy another motorhome from them. An absolute disgrace.

We have now had a reply from Lowdhams who are looking at resolving our issues so a thank you to them. I will update later once resolved.

From finding Lowdhams at NEC show to collecting our new motorhome, the service has been great, our salesperson was Adam and was always helpful and quick to reply to any queries we had. Very good customer service.

The handover was thorough and very well-organised, ensuring we understood everything about our new motorhome before driving away.

Very good at taking your money but after service is terrible to say the least. Having purchased a new Bailey Cartagena in 2024. Lowdhams have only just managed to repair the door, if you can call it a repair, after 18 months. Unfortunately the door is now even worse than before, we cannot now use it as a stable door. Lowdhams have completely lied to us, they told us they had replaced the door and frame, which they definitely have not. We are now trying to book our caravan in again for yet another repair, if they had checked their work my caravan would not be being booked in yet again. AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COST. GREAT AT TAKING YOUR MONEY AND FOBBING YOU OFF, BUT THATS ABOUT IT!

We recently purchased a new campervan from Lowdhams and were very pleased with the experience. Jamie on Sales was attentive and understanding throughout and can’t thank him enough as were all the Sales, Workshop, Reception and Office staff.
We took up the option to stay overnight on the rally field which I would highly recommend as it’s only when you try that you may find some issues, ours were minimal and swiftly resolved.
Overall our initial experience is that Lowdhams are an excellent company to deal with, friendly, knowledgeable offering very good onsite support.

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The showroom was a bit of a maze but that couldn't be helped due to the building work going on.

I phoned up twice to speak to a sales member about a new campervan. The first time they said they will call back. Eventually called back on the second day, only to tell me that I needed to speak to a campervan sales person, not a motorhome sales person. I HAD asked to talk about a campervan. He said that he would get the campervan sales person to call me back.....they never did. I called again a few days later, still unable to talk to the campervan sales person. I spent my money on a brand new Dethleffs at Pullingers in Halstead. I received a fantastic service there.

This is our second new motorhome purchased from Lowdhams Leisure World and yet again a fantastic experience from ordering to collection last week. The handover was excellent giving us every detail needed for the new van. Massive thanks to Mark & Adam communication was great and did everything we asked for including a few extras 😊
