The birthday cake was genuinely amazing
The birthday cake was genuinely fantastic . The sponge was soft and light, the cream perfectly balanced, and the flavours came together without being overly sweet. Honestly, it disappeared far too quickly, which is probably the best review a cake can get.

Would definitely buy again
I ordered a Victoria sponge naked cake for a birthday celebration. The cake looked and tasted delicious and everyone commented that it was just like a homemade sponge cake. It wasn’t too sweet as it didn’t have loads of butter cream and the fruit on top was fresh. I would definitely buy again, very happy customer.

While we appreciate Lola's cakes
While we appreciate Lola's cakes, we found this particular order to be somewhat dry, resulting in a slower consumption compared to our previous experiences.

Terrible customer service at bluewater…
Terrible customer service at bluewater store. I asked to purchase 2 cupcake box for £7.90. I picked the chocolate indulgence and the cinnamon cupcake. I was overcharged and paid £8.95. I questioned this and the staff said the cinammon cupcake was £5. I said I asked for 2 cupcake for £7.90 and was not told the cinnamon cupcake was not included. The worker rudely pointed at the sign saying it is £5 ‘read the sign properly’. I said the sign does not state a price, that is not my fault. The worker said there’s nothing she can do and that it’s tough luck. I also took a photo of the sign showing there was no £5 price displayed. Very disappointed

Svar fra Lola's - Lola's Bluewater
Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience at Bluewater.
I am so sorry about the signage causing confusion.
Our Chocolate Pistachio and Cinnamon Cupcake are both premium cupcakes due to their decorations on top, they cost £5 each compared to the £3.95 other options.
We will send this onto the Senior Management at the store to review the signage for the future and understand how to make this more clear for customers.
Have a great rest of the day.
Best wishes,
Alice
