Matt and Jake had a tough job digging up a 15 foot long trench in the garden and then linking the fibre. They worked flat out for about 3 hours and remained polite and conversational throughout. Explanation of the router was excellent and if I needed WiFi again I would request them as the installers.

Utterly devastated by this company's greed. Please avoid them.
I am left feeling completely helpless and defeated by KCOM. Our experience started poorly when they left us without any internet for two weeks when we first moved, ignoring our constant calls for help.
Now, we’ve achieved a huge milestone and bought our own home, but KCOM is completely ruining what should be a happy time for our family. Because they lack the infrastructure to supply broadband to our new address, they are forcing me to pay a £450 cancellation fee. It feels incredibly unfair to be penalized and financially drained just because they cannot provide a service to my area.
UPDATE: I tried everything to fix this. I called them to plead my case, but they refused to help. I even pinned my last hopes on raising an Ombudsman case, but nothing changed. In the end, I’ve been forced to hand over £511.81 that I simply cannot afford to lose right now. I feel completely taken advantage of. Please, spare yourself the stress and heartache and stay far away from them.

If I could give ZERO would be ZERO. Absolute SCAM of a company been warned. I went away for few months they agreed to down my contract on the telephone when I got back out of contract charges £87.00 each month for over 3 months. They wouldn’t take any consideration into anything just blamed me for trying to rejoin with another package all though they didn’t even give me the package I was offered as it wasn’t applied to my account so was stuck in out of contract. Was told it’s my job to keep you on with KCOM so we keep you in with a contract not intending out of contract charges MAKE SURE YOU HAVE IT IN WRITING BECAUSE IF YOU DONT GOOD LUCK. Rubbish company I’ve made 3 people leave them for this reason of out of contract charges.

Great customer service, highly recommend
We have been experiencing problems with our router and I spoke to a KC representative who was in my area. She requested a phone call so firstly I received great customer service from HER. Then received a call next day from Mac. He talked me through resetting my router and other alterations, speed tests etc. he was very patient and kind while I did the walkthrough. He offered to call back another time to see if it has now improved. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

Admin password not changeable.
To be honest, the broadband services is very good and have been with them for a number of years.
My main issue is in changing the admin password of the Zyxel XMG3927 router......basically you cant - the web documentation suggests username option under the Maintenance tab but this doesnt exist!! Absolutely ridiculous. Changing the password every so often is a standard security requirement - .
