While I'm happy with my stereo Joyings experience and customer service is laughable
OK, I wanna start by saying the unit overall works well however this is not truly a plug-in play set up like Joying auto says.
How was my first interaction with Customer Service before I bought the unit you ask? well let’s just say they actually got an attitude with me and said that I wasn’t understanding what they were saying when their English is poor and said that the installation is very straightforward yet they could not provide me installation steps for step-by-step instructions.
Fast forward to me receiving the unit but before I received the unit I found out with an unexpected email that I had to pay some dues from DHL shipping, which I was not aware of which other companies tend to pay and don’t front to the customer but Joying sent me a nasty email saying that I can either pay that or pay more fees to ship it back leaving me to put the bill on additional fees I wasn’t expecting. Not to mention even after I paid DHL doesn't update their site and Joying kept pestering me to pay. (oh joy)
So I received the item and while installation instructions were basically garbage I was able to find third-party videos online on YouTube to assist me with the installation process I have the stereo installed however, the CarPlay was crashing intermediately and Customer Service was super slow to respond and still never really resolve my issue however I didn’t update on my phone operating system and it’s only crashed once in the past week so I think it may be resolved, but again not to joyings support.
Now that I have everything set up, the only thing that is not working as the TPMS sensor for my wheels one of the sensors is not reading the psi. Here I am a few days later STILL waiting on a response from joying. Luckily this works now and don't mind some work to get things going. Otherwise, If you want a TRULY plug and play don't get Joying. (speaking of, I literally had to rip open the back seat passenger side panel area to bypass my radio module for my radio to work at all. - they failed to disclose this during selling process. So much lacks in their customer service AND communication)
