Great facilities, great range of classes, womens only area is good and some of the new kit is great

I joined Jd gym in Blackburn around two months ago. I previously went to another gym in Blackburn.
The comparison between the two is phenomenal.
JD has an excellent selection of machines whether it's free weights, weighted machines or cardio.
They are also very well managed. There is always a member staff available to talk to if needed. They are constantly ensuring the gym is clean, tidy and running smoothly.
My PT instructor (Kirsty Smalley) is fantastic. She showed me around the gym and has encouraged me to use the machines I was unfamiliar with.
She even came to help and encourage me when I was training with my sister! So friendly and supportive.

I have been going to JD gyms for a while now, the atmosphere is lovely. As a beginner who was a nervous i feel confident when attending, everyone is so helpful. Recently the gym has added brand new equipment and it has been exciting to try all the new machines, definitely spoilt for choice. Credit to Kirsty not only is she my pt, she is the kindest soul, knows exactly how to challenge me further than my own belief, and her contribution and supportive nature is empowering me to be a better version of myself.

Good equipment and my PT Kirsty has really helped me hit my fitness and nutrition goals.

The staff & PTS are absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable who go above and beyond for their members and get to know them
Very well.
The atmosphere is so good, classes are so good, they’ve recently upgraded all the cable machines, added a whole section of booty builder equipment, and belted squat machine and a pendulum squat 💪🏼💪🏼.
Shauna is a huge credit to jd gyms Blackburn her work ethic is truly admirable she’s always positive, she is very knowledgeable and always willing to help anyone.

Sarah is the best around! She’s so knowledgeable and passionate what she does it really does make her special! She’s helped me through so much and she’s always giving her customers 110%

Fantastic gym with staff who are alway friendly and approachable.
The recent change around and new equipment has made such a difference to the gym and it look so much better. The new equipment is amazing and the staff are more than happy to show you how to use them correctly.
Shauna is a great asset to the gym she is friendly and always running around keeping the gym clean and today. She is always happy to offer advice and her knowledge of all health and fitness is outstanding.

Overcrowded gyms, changing rooms in both JD gyms I go to absolute stink, not allowed to have your gym bag with you so can't carry your gym equipment around with you. Dumbbells don't go above 50kg, cables don't go above 32kg.

Absaloutly awsome gym in Blackburn, easy to get in 24h access clean facilities really pleased with this and will carry on with my membership at this facility
