I pay £35 a month hardly any fans on Blackburn gym
I pay £35 a month and hardly fans are on. They are saving on electricity. If you can't put air-con on atleast leave the fan on. Will change gym once membership is over

Extra cold shower for men’s changing needed
Everything is good , In the men's changing rooms, we were also missing a cool shower—one just isn't enough for us.

Absolutely love JD Gyms Blackburn!
I honestly can’t praise this gym enough. From the moment you walk in, there is such an amazing atmosphere. The people are friendly, welcoming and supportive, and it genuinely feels like a community rather than just a gym.
A special mention has to go to Ange, the manager, who is absolutely outstanding. She is friendly, approachable, professional and always makes you feel welcome. You can tell she really cares about the gym, the members and the team.
The spin instructors are fantastic. Their energy, motivation and enthusiasm make every class something to look forward to. They work incredibly hard to create an atmosphere where everyone feels motivated, whatever their fitness level.
All of the staff are brilliant — friendly, helpful and approachable. The equipment and facilities are excellent, with plenty of choice and everything you need for a great workout.
But what really makes this gym special is the atmosphere and the people. There is a really positive energy when you walk through the doors, and it makes you actually want to come to the gym.
JD Gyms Blackburn is genuinely outstanding. Huge credit to Ange and the whole team for creating such a fantastic environment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a gym where you feel welcome, motivated and part of something.
10/10 from me! ❤️💪🏼

Over crowded and full of muscled up cuzzys
Every time I’ve come to the gym, no matter the time I seem to come. It’s full of about 1000 people with like 10 people around each machine. Nothing against anyone person but when you have that many people around a machine it’s very off putting and intimidating especially when there all in the changing room afterwards stood there half naked flexing it’s disgusting to be honest. I have been a few times now and for the price you pay and for what you get is ridiculous. I will be trying a completely different gym as I don’t think that when you go gym you shouldn't feel intimidated, self conscious and just generally is a frustrating place as when you ask the bros that are all stood at the peck fly for example if there done you get evil looks like I’m a idiot . The staff are great. Gym etiquette is also something that should be followed and the people in this gym definitely do NOT have etiquette. Have some respect for people and the gym equipment. Out of all the gyms I’ve been to this has been my worst experience and will NOT be returning to this place

Flawed
The gym is well equipped with a good selection of machines and equipment but the gym feels very unsanitary. It seems no one wipes the machines and there's no sprays or wipes anywhere in the gym that I can see. I've never seen anyone cleaning a machine after using it. The gym is very busy and I've seen people sat on the equipment just using their phones for a long time and not working out. I couldn't recommend the gym.

Massive shoutout to Ebony for saving me from my own stupidity. I left my expensive watch in one of the lockers and messaged her to see if she could help. She wasn’t working but still helped me out and contacted the gym and I managed to get the watch back! 10/10 and deserves a pay rise.

Gym was great, but very poor customer service.
I have been a member of the Blackburn JD Gyms for a few years. The gym is always clean and despite it often being busy I could always use the equipment I wanted to. Unfortunately when I moved house and tried to cancel, they just don’t respond. I had to resort to cancelling with my bank and claiming back the payments they continued to take.
It’s a shame as this puts me off considering JD Gyms in future or recommending them to friends and family. I know PureGym let you pause or cancel membership through their app, so maybe JD should consider this. It’s much more customer friendly approach for a modern gym brand.

There's absolutky no one at all in the women's room to show us what we should be doing or how to use the equipment we got took upstairs by a male who said gym here showers there ...there should be someone in the room qualified at all times to help and guide it was our first time and had no clue how to use any equipment and due to me having a medical problem I was all dizzy and noone in site to help me

Over crowded. Too many members in at the same time. Dont know what
The capacity is. But as a new joiner my first session was a bad experience. I went a second time earlier to miss peak time and again too busy. Too many machines. Not my kind of gym.
