good equipment in the gym and friendly staff unfortunately the cleanliness of the changing rooms lets the gym down

The ladies gym is subpar compared to the unisex gym
You charge the same for the ladies gym as the unisex/males gym but both do not have the same facilities and equipment in ladies area I have to wait for equipment and the small area for ladies you decide to market your gym as a ladies area but there is not enough space. when I complain that there is no equipment free they inform me to go upstairs but i only joined for the ladies area and so the membership price is very expensive. It would be helpful if we got an entire floor for only ladies instead of just the corner on the ground floor. If that cannot be done then provide a separate membership for only the ladies area so that the price matches the facilities given.
Also sauna room is very small so I am never able to go there always is full no space- it only fits about 6/7 people and that’s if we squish together

Needs updating - is tired & run down, broken machines
Recently joined, is £29.99 per month which is expensive so had high expectations. It has old machines and equipment, which is surprising for the high price, it's run down and dated. Numerous machines are broken down and need repair. Please get this sort JD Gym.
Been advised this has been open for 10 years, so that does explain things.
I will probably try The Gym Group as is £20.99 and they have multiple sites in Birmingham and better value for money, will be saving £9 per month.

Good gym just lacks variety of equipment
The gym is cheap has good deals lots of benches and treadmills but lacks a multiple machines theres only one leg extension machine in the whole gym also there is no stair master machine if the gym was expanded they should definitely add them to the gym and get some air filter in the boys changing room because the smell is very bad

Train here 5x a week and Dev really…
Train here 5x a week and Dev really helps, he helped me correct my technique with lifting and helped me build a lot of muscle. He’s hilarious friendly and overall a great man

I love the this gym as it has everything you need to train hard and stay motivated to achieve ur goals and dreams, the staff are amazing aswell and help everyone around and one staff member named dev helped me the most and is honest and kind to everyone

Staff blocking disabled spaces again
Staff are still blocking disabled parking spaces despite feedback.
As my name is listed here and I have nothing to hide, I can advise it's that Selvin chap and hope other staff can resolve this.
There are new disabled parking signs, but staff still ignoring, is disgraceful.

Is Ignorance bliss?
This JD Gym Birmingham will ignore constructive feedback. Is a shame - seems poorly run and poorly managed.
Have a look at the negative feedback, this is ignored and I have noticed my previous negative feedback has still not been responded to - please do respond as is food for thought. I am making effort to give good honest feedback and criticism in the hope to make improvements for all gym users.
Anything seen as positive feedback appears to be responded to and state: "It's really made our day" - seems very shallow to be honest with selective responses.

Very crowded with zero hygiene
Very crowded with zero hygiene. Smells so so bad honestly! No enough equipment as people wait for machines to use. I do not encourage anyone to subscribe with this gym.

Very nice and good gym
Very nice and good gym. I joined because there is a ladies section and classes. But if they provide a lady to check on or clean the ladies section will be helpful instead of a man doing this . Overall it is excellent gym.

The toilet and shower rooms are so dirty and smell so bad that you need to meet the modern gym standard for hygiene.
Maintaining high standards of hygiene is not only crucial for ensuring safety, but it also plays a significant role in enhancing member satisfaction and retention rates.

No respect for the gym and other customers
People need to put their weights back on the rack and any equipment back from where they got it.
