Too crowded
Too crowded, always has a weird smell, car park isnt big enough for the amount of people they accommodate, only 1 staff member has been polite

Gym experience
I like that it's 24 hr gym and has ample parking. Also love that it has women only section.Good amount of equipments for working out.Friendly atmosphere and classes.
Only slight negative was there isn't a spray or cleaning wipes always available.
Over all great experience thus far.

It's an OK gym
It's an OK gym , there isn't alot of room for personal space on the weights area. Some mashine ( the treadmill) are brocken and hard to hold on the handles when they are taped on .
The sauna is amazing and I love it in there .
The one main issue I have is when I need help or advice about a workout or how to use a mashine. I can never find any staff member who works there.

I join here like one week before And…
I join here like one week before And still didn’t give me the quote and they get the payment from my account. If I go I have to call someone to open the door for me like I spoke to this stuff and they don’t my problem.

Absolute crap gym
Absolute crap gym. Machines are always broken and they take forever to fix them. When one gets fixed another breaks. No rule to say during busy times you should limit how long you’re on a machine. Do not recommend this gym at all.

My 1st experience at JD Gym Birmingham…
My 1st experience at JD Gym Birmingham City, was when I was looking for parking, I found that the car park had a lot of litter. This gave me a negative impression immediately. I then easily entered through main door but could not find where to scan entry barcode to get through the security entry, I had to seek help from gym member.
I went up to the 3rd floor as I wanted to run on the treadmill, it was very stuffy and quite warm at this point I felt optimistic. I could not hear the air conditioning to be switched on. I also found most of the gym equipment quite dated when compared to Pure Gym Smethwick. (Air con always on at Pure Gym) was a member for 15 years - only decided to leave as because of CEO controversial comments.

Good facilities but Remember a padlock
Lovely gym lots of equipment and good ladies own section and space.
I had to leave to get a padlock though which set me back, however came back and used facilities and sauna. Brilliant

Toilets and shower
Toilets, Shower area very dirty and stinks,
No handles available for cable machines
Cable bars are without rubber grip

I put an upgrade request in 2 weeks…
I put an upgrade request in 2 weeks ago, and it stated that someone would get back to me in 48 hours. Currently on hold to the customer service number which has been on going for 49mins without speaking to anybody. Gyms are great but the Customer service is difficult.
