I had the pleasure of being onboarded by Marc Taylor for our health and safety system, and I can confidently say the experience exceeded my expectations. From the very beginning, Marc was incredibly friendly and approachable, which immediately put me at ease.
Before the session, I found the system quite daunting and even wished I hadn’t tried to navigate it alone. However, Marc’s clear, patient, and structured explanations made everything feel straightforward and manageable. By the end of the onboarding, I felt fully confident in using the system to create risk assessments and method statements.
Marc has a real talent for teaching—he breaks things down in a way that is easy to understand without ever making you feel overwhelmed. His supportive approach made a huge difference, and I genuinely feel much more capable thanks to his guidance.

I wish that I'd looked at the reviews for HS Direct before agreeing to use their company to use their 'Free templates' to write a policy document.
As many other businesses before me have had exactly the same issues, not a quality document, no contacts available and invoice issued and fee taken from my bank on the same day. This is now classified as a subscription scam and I would advise anyone considering using HS Direct to Stop and try a reputable company with proper reviews. Not a nice company.

As someone who doesn't have a lot of health and safety experience I wanted to be sure my business was compliant in every aspect of what we do. I'm so pleased to have HS Direct onboard providing me peace of mind that everything is being done correctly and is current. The customer service is very friendly, approachable and professional. I had my first walkthrough of how to use the platform today and was very impressed with Gary Shaw who walked me through everything. He was incredibly knowledgeable and put me at ease. I now feel less overwhelmed by the what needs to be done to make sure my business remains compliant going forward.

I enquired online and Ryan gave me a call the next day, instantly he knew what my
New company needed and we worked through all the options. He explained all the processes thoroughly and has now got my company fully set up and legally compliant. Can’t thank him enough and can’t wait to get using the portal of HS direct.

I’ve found the staff at HS Direct to be genuinely friendly and the services themselves valuable. In particular, Ben Humphries is excellent—he consistently goes above and beyond, providing the dedicated, hands-on support that was promised during my pre-sales discussions.

However, my experience with the wider support team has been inconsistent. I have encountered response times exceeding one week, which required me to follow up personally. Additionally, I’ve found some guidance to be non-committal; I occasionally felt the onus was back on me to make decisions rather than receiving the expert direction I expected. I hope this is just a temporary dip in service, as I’d like to see the rest of the team match the high standard set by Ben.

Not impressed initially with the sales team ...... but the accreditations team, mainly Nicole, helped us through our CHAS application - couldn't have done it without her - always so helpful and responsive, a pleasure to work with.

Needed a risk assessment and method statement within 48hrs, after speaking with Chris ( Christopher Hooey ) he put my mind at ease, ran me over all the information he needed, explained prices to me, helped me with first aid and Health And Safety documents, all I can say is thank you! If you need this done, pay the money and get it done right… first time!

We use HS Direct for all our H&S needs and Luke Nicolle specifically has been extremely helpful this week with CDM Regulations. Amazing help and support.

We have been using Hs direct for the last 4 years now they are a great company to have on side. They helped us achieve our Smas accreditations for the last 3 years and made it so easy took care of everything all I did was send our representative (Amelia) the information they needed. this year she helped us to achieve our Chas accreditations. Can thanks Hs direct enough and especially Amelia !!
