Ordered 2 scooters, one was great, the other looked battered and didn’t turn on! Nearly 3 weeks later and I’m trying to finalise a return so I can order another….. definitely won’t be ordering from this place though!

Fantastic customer service
I ordered 3 hoverboard bundles for my granddaughters. When the first one arrived the seat was missing, I emailed, received a reply and the seat was sent to my address within 2 days (amazing). The children love their boards and when a bolt/nut came off and was lost, again received replies to my emails and was sorted within a few days with a free replacement. I cannot recommend this company enough.

Returned an order that had marks & scuffs on it as if it had maybe been used, you have received the order back yet u still haven't processed my £139.99 refund! I have emailed & messaged a few times with NO RESPONSE! I would appreciate if u could refund me my money ASAP!
Posted this review on their own website & they have removed it twice !
Be careful ordering from this company because if u have any issues they won’t respond!

When a customer purchases an item.
The very least you can do is send it to them???
When said customer emails you telling you that they haven’t received said item. Contract ASAP. Explain why!!
I had to claim my money back through my bank!!! Not good practice!

This statement is not accurate. The order was placed without a street number in the delivery address, which meant we were unable to ship the item. We of course require a full and correct address, including the street number, to send any order.

Speedy resolution of issue
Speedy delivery. When I opened order one item was missing (I'd ordered two pairs of straps, only one present). This was resolved with a simple email to query and the missing item dispatched straightaway. Great service recovery

Don't bother - Read reviews and avoid.
Ordered an item 13/3/25, arrived in great time and given as a present 1/4/25. Immediately didn't work, recalibrated board and still not working. We have other boards so not new to them. I've emailed an address for them given on Clearpay and on hoverboardstore website between 1/4 and 7/4 (both different) but no reply. Also started chats on the website and nothing. Clearpay still plan to take payments from me but nothing will be received until it's resolved or item returned.
EDIT - Despite 'simply resetting' the hoverboard on no less than 4 attempts, it didn't work. What the response failed to mention sadly is that I have another hoverboard from another company, (mentioned in my emails) which works perfectly fine and if/when it needs recallibrating, it works first time each time and solves the issue. If they have in fact managed to reset it then I'd recommend the instructions be revised as they did not resolve the issue at all....I followed them to the letter and nothing worked. I'm not a stupid woman by any means, my husband also went through it with me and witnessed it not work. I imagine the 'working' hoverboard will be resold, let's hope the new owners have more luck. Money refunded and used to buy another with the original company....works great. Thanks!

UPDATE – 13/05/2025
Following the customer’s email, we provided a free return label and have now issued a full refund.
Our repair team inspected the item and confirmed that a simple reset was needed, despite the customer advising it had already been attempted. That said, we’re glad we could resolve the issue professionally.
Unfortunately, the customer’s original message had landed in our junk folder, and they hadn’t contacted our customer service email directly (contact@hoverboardstore.co.uk), which caused a delay in our response.
We’ve done our best to resolve the matter fairly and efficiently once we became aware of the issue.
UPDATE – 16/05/2025
At Hoverboard Store, we’ve always aimed to offer fair, transparent service — and we're proud of the thousands of satisfied customers we’ve served since 2015.
While we fully understand that not every experience will be perfect, we always stand behind our support process. In this case, despite our repair team confirming that a standard reset resolved the issue, we still offered a free return label and full refund to keep things fair for the customer.
Unfortunately, their emails didn’t initially come through to our main support address (contact@hoverboardstore.co.uk), we acted quickly to resolve everything.
The hoverboard has since been tested and is in perfect working order — and has already found a happy new owner who’s enjoying it without issue. Sometimes things don’t work out, but we remain committed to helping all our customers — fairly and professionally.

Only negative would be there was no communication with regards to delivery date/time.
