Really really helpful nice pleasant young man

The surveyor was thorough and did an excellent job. Courteous and methodical.

Everything from this company has been excellent, from the initial visit to the installation (which was very smooth) to the aftercare. We did have to follow up to get the scaffolding down but it was booked in and removed shortly after. I've since had follow-up questions which HEC have either been happy to answer or when they couldn't I was provided the Eco Flow customer service number (if app related).
Overall great quality product, honest and open communication and now best of all saving some money on the electric bill!

Although initially happy with the install I have now realised that the inverter was undersized meaning I have lost £100’s over the time I have had it. I have since realised that they don’t want to put bigger inverters in to make it easier and quicker to install. That doesn’t help me or others that will have suffered the same. I have had to pay out for a larger inverter and that has cost me well over £1,000. My system is now doing what it should have been doing when I trusted this company to install.

Great service and understanding when life got in the way and I need to change the dates for installation. Caroline was great and making all the check go smoothly.
I did have to chase up about the inspection after the insterlation but they where to quick to book it in.

Great after sales , really looked after us after our solar and battery systems fitted.
All staff were extremely helpful and always keen to help and answer any of my questions.

The service we have received has been excellent. The after care is very good and we have been able to speak to the company on several occasions with ease, their knowledge and guidance has been very good and they have answered all our questions along the way. The lady who came to do our pre and post survey was lovely and helped us to use the app.

Very Happy with the service, from initial consultation then survey through to fitting and post fitting survey and EPC(today). Fitting team were friendly and efficient and answered all questions. Everything all good, all equipment working as it should, company very responsive and Caroline was great as well. A+

Great customer service and efficient installation. Seems to be working well. Only down side was the reliability of the scaffolders not turning up 5 different times on agreed and rearranged dates. I understand they are contractors but this doesn't reflect well on the company. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

We had a great experience with Home Energy from start to finish. We received advise on getting the best from cost solar including how to best pull from the grid. Simple and informative language not pushy.

We have had 20 panels and 3 batteries fitted
Up to know working well and have not paid for any electric since fitted.
Looking forward to seeing what we can sell back.

Booked a sales chat and everything before this was good customer service.

What I really don't appreciate is being lied to. Final price for the system I wanted came in at 17k - 14 panels, 10kw battery and all really premium products, DMEGC and ecoflow.

However, was then told we qualified for a HelpforHomes discount and the price came down to 14k.

I googled on the spot HelpforHomes grant and nothing, zilch, nada. This was a lie and the actual price was the 14k.

It's at the top end of the quotes and said that this discount might not be here next month, next week or even tomorrow - a sales scare tactic. I believe this is similar to a 20% vat reduction which runs anyway until spring 27.

Apr is high at 9.9 too.

I'd be wary as there will be cheaper quotes that still can deliver a premium setup for about 2k less that this - might not have the aftercare that was promised.

We’ve had an excellent experience with Home Energy Counsel and I’d highly recommend them to anyone considering solar panels.
During the initial phone call the lady was honest, knowledgable and not pushy. The sales person that came out gave us realistic figures, spent time explaining everything and answered all questions we had. The installers were here on time, professional and efficient. They showed us how to use the tablet and app. The products used were of a very high quality and the manufacturer was friendly and efficient when they were called during set up. When phoned, Home Energy Counsel, have picked up quickly and either answered our questions straight away or given us a call back having found the information needed. Emails have been answered quickly and we have been supported throughout the whole process. Paperwork to enable the selling of our solar energy was quick to come through and we are happily earning money from the panels as well as saving on our electricity bill.
After installation the Home Energy Counsel have phoned and visited to ensure a top quality experience was had, which it was.

Very happy with the service received . The system was explained well and the engineer was very polite . Scaffolding was taken down a week and a half late . Overall very happy

Not gonna lie, there were issues but you get issues with everything in life - the reason I’ve given 5 stars is because anything that’s happened or any issues that have happened the team have been absolutely on it and resolved everything - they are so on it with customer service

As we had already spoken to Octopus Energy who told us we could not have solar as we have no loft space we thought it was not an option for us until we found Home Energy Counsel who fit all solar externally - which is also safer from a fire risk pov. Shaun Edwards came out and talked us through in detail how things would work and what the system can do. Luke came out to do the survey and he answered all our questions and a week later the fitters were here. The scaffolders had prepared access to the roof the previous day. It was swift, professional, friendly and fast! Then we were up and running! Brilliant. We are now waiting for the grid and Octopus to formalise our export tariff but the equipment we have chosen is top spec so we are confident all will work really well. Caroline, also a surveyor, returned and checked the system and conducted a new EPC for us.
We are very very pleased with the installation and all the team at Home Energy Counsel and would highly recommend them.
