Perfect but too much plastic…
Theres great recipes and its usually very easy to follow them. Theres a good variety of options and the price is ok too.
The only downside is the amount of plastic packaging that arrives. Certainly some is necessary but herbs, spices and veg could easily be wrapped in paper

Love the food not the emails
The recipes are interesting. Love the quality of food and how everything is portioned to just what’s needed. However the emails are bothersome.
I only received my first box on Tuesday. The next day I had to finalise my second weeks box and was charged for it on the Thursday. Same day I was asked to review the service. So within 6 days of having signed up I had to pick and pay for two weeks food, provide a review and receive numerous emails to invite my friends.
Also the driver didn’t heed instructions on the delivery label and left my box on the front doorstep in clear view of anyone passing rather than the specified safe place at the side gate of the house.

Food and ingredients are fresh, flavours of the dishes are lovely and nice to have a different flavour most nights - I love that everything is portioned, easy so you can easily cook it up without buying lots of extra herbs n spices etc and you know how long it will take - portions could be a bit bigger but all in all good quality so far !

I absolutely adore the food
I absolutely adore the food, portion sizes are perfect. Maybe it’s me, but I’m finding it a bit difficult to change my order from 3 days to two days and also to change the menus that have been selected for me. It really probably is me🙊

Beaware when you cancel they make it difficult.
Cancelled my subscription and they kept sendning my boxes and chargedme for weeks after. I had checked twice that my order was canceled. The only way to cancel is to phone them and MAKE SURE you have a confirmation of cancellation email otherwise they keep charging. Its a scam.

HelloFresh is a weekly rolling subscription, and any changes, including cancellations, must be processed before our weekly cut-off deadline (every Wednesday at 11:59 PM, one week prior to your scheduled delivery). Whenever an account is successfully deactivated, our system automatically triggers a cancellation confirmation email for your records. If a box was still processed, it is possible the cancellation was made after the deadline or the process wasn't fully completed in the system.

The food boxes should be able to sell…
The food boxes should be able to sell themselves. Using aggressive rude salespeople obviously on commission at stands is a poor way to advertise your product. Perhaps some food samples would work better? I don’t ask to be stopped on my day out and have my time monopolised but then to be made feel bad for not making a purchase is not acceptable. Some customer service and maybe a pepper or a carrot on display might be nice instead of a bank of sales people.

I recently cancelled my HelloFresh…
I recently cancelled my HelloFresh subscription following a number of recurring issues with missing ingredients. This occurred five times over the past few months. On the first occasion, I received a €20 credit; however, for subsequent issues, I was only credited for the value of the missing ingredient.
Each time I contacted customer service, I explained that while I appreciated the credit, the missing items were typically ingredients I would not have at home. As a result, the meal could not be prepared as intended, which diminished both the quality and overall experience.
While I understand that occasional errors can occur, this became a frequent—almost weekly—issue, which is not acceptable given the weekly cost of €60–€80. Although the food itself was generally of good quality, the repeated issues ultimately led to my decision to cancel. Unfortunately, this reflects a loss of a loyal customer due to poor execution.

Mixed bag
I've only had my first box so far, and there is definitely some good and some bad. Upon arrival, none of my ice packs were ice packs any longer, just bags of water, which has me wondering how Fresh we're talking exactly. I had to replace some of the produce before I was able to get to the recipe and things like carrots and parsnips going bad in less than a week is not a typical grocery store experience, so I'm not quite sold on freshness. All the recipes have been very tasty and quick to prepare however, so I'm going to stick with it at least one more time to see how we fare.
ETA: Second box had at least some ice in the packs, though some of the produce is still past its prime - especially problematic when you have three "eat me first" meals in your box!

Hello Fresh has saved me
I've been with hello fresh for a week and so far I absolutely love it. From the choice of meals to choose from each week to being able to track the time of delivery. Hello Fresh have thought of everything.
The app is easy to use and you can make changes if needed.
The meals are absolutely delicious and the recipes are easy to follow. Everything you need is in the bag. I find it so much easier to tidy up after too.

Disappointing
I was disappointed with the quality of some of the food items. I got mouldy onions. Some ingredients were missing and some recipes called for chicken breast but I received diced chicken. When trying to contact customer services I could only get through to an AI bot. Very disappointing because a lot of people raved about it, but i can't see it.

Awful experience
Awful experience! First order. Box didn’t turn up. Contacted hello fresh. They told me they would chase up and be back in contact. Heard nothing. Contacted them again and have processed a refund. Considering it’s a subscription plan I thought they would at least get the first few right!

Nightmare company that enjoys harassing their customers
Would rate 0 stars if I could for the repeated harassment calls I’ve been receiving from this company. I haven’t ordered a box in months (cost of living and all that) and had to block their number due to how many calls I was receiving (many that were very early on weekend mornings). Now that I have their number blocked I’m instead receiving repeated voicemails that I cannot block. Every day, multiple times a day I’m getting a “new voicemail” notification that is a robotic voice on the other end. When I speak to the live chat on their website to tell them to stop, the AI bot doesn’t understand what I’m saying and talks in circles. Absolutely infuriating company to deal with!!!!! A shame because their food is actually nice but I will never order again. Avoid avoid avoid if you want to keep your sanity
