I would highly recommend
I have been very impressed with the service from Healthpath. The SIBO test was clear to use and efficient. The plan included in the price has been very informative beginning with a video from a naturopath doctor explaining the SIBO test results, and well received advice about starting slow with the recommendations. There were supplements and diet advised with numerous recipes which have been very helpful. I am also pleased that there is the option to speak to a naturopath doctor again if required. Overall, I have been impressed with Healthpath and would recommended their services.

Sibo Test
I got a sibo test which turned out to be positive for methane sibo. I hadn't initially bought the additional health plan which was on discount and which they offered to me after the test at bargain price. I thought the health plan was excellent with a personalised video from one of the practitioners explaining the test plus a list of recommended treatment supplements. Additionally the health plan had all kinds of food suggestions and general info. I am making good progress so highly recommended.

I ordered a breath test for SIBO and…
I ordered a breath test for SIBO and IMO which arrived in good time. The test instructions were clear and it was straightforward to prepare for and take the test. I received the results much faster than anticipated which was nice. There was a small error in the result description but when I enquired this was quickly rectified and didn’t affect the actual results. It was a positive experience.

Smooth transaction. I have yet to complete my test as unfortunately it arrived on 9th Dec and last posting date was the 10th so could not get done in time but so far Healthpath has been very informative and the website is very easy to use.

A very caring and thorough service
The initial phone call with a doctor was helpful and informative. I felt that Healthpath were genuinely interested in listening to my concerns and recommending the most appropriate test for me. The test itself was easy to do. And finally, the video of my test results was excellent. Having my results explained to me was brilliant. The doctor went through everything and explained it all clearly. Overall, I was very impressed by Healthpath.

The supplement advice I was given after my positive breath test for Hydrogen SIBO was very helpful. Although it has taken a number of weeks for the supplements to have a really positive effect, the initial advice was excellent.

Fantastic! I purchased a Gut Plan in the Black Friday sale and while I have not yet used the test, I have already been impressed with the speed of the delivery - it came within a day or two! The communication from the company has been great and I finally feel like I'll get the answers I am looking for. This test seems advanced and the price was better than other sites I checked. I completed a Healthpath Gut test as a…
I completed a Healthpath Gut test as a last resort after years of debilitating symptoms including significant unintentional weight loss, marked fatigue after meals, systemic inflammation, food reactivity, bloating, and occasional flu-like reactions to certain foods (especially high-sulphur foods such as eggs, garlic, lamb and salmon).
My report showed Dientamoeba fragilis positive, very high sulphate-reducing bacteria, severe dysbiosis (index 15), extremely elevated Secretory IgA (>7,500), elevated zonulin (barrier dysfunction), and objective malabsorption of fat and sugar, yet these findings were largely minimised as mild “bloating.”
For clarity: Secretory IgA >7,500 is NOT a subtle finding—this indicates a persistent immune activation working 24/7 in the gut. Even the practitioner stated this could represent “either parasite or infection,” but then later stated there was “no infection,” and then stated the parasite “rarely causes symptoms,” despite my results clearly matching the literature on parasitic-driven immune activation and permeability. These are contradictory interpretations.
Furthermore, the sulphate-reducing bacteria result was dismissed as common, yet my lived experience is that sulphur foods cause profound symptoms, including body pain, heavy fatigue and water retention. This cannot be considered incidental.
Also concerning was no meaningful discussion around malabsorption, despite objective markers showing impaired fat and carbohydrate digestion—highly relevant given my rapid and ongoing weight loss.
The supplements recommended (Saccharomyces boulardii, zinc-carnosine, ginger bitters) may indeed be helpful, but these do not address the seriousness of the parasite, the long-term immune activation, or the malabsorptive picture shown.
I feel these findings are clinically significant and correlate strongly with my symptoms over many years, and I expected a more thorough medical interpretation rather than having them brushed off as “mild bloating.”
I hope Healthpath consider that many of us undertake this testing only after years of unexplained symptoms, and findings such as severe dysbiosis, extremely high secretory IgA, and ongoing malabsorption are not minor, and should not be minimised.

I just wanted to address a couple of the concerns you've raised:
Dientamoeba Fragilis:
We appreciate that receiving a positive parasite result can understandably feel worrying. For context, evidence shows that Dientamoeba fragilis doesn’t always require eradication and can sometimes co-exist without causing harm. Our practitioners take this wider context into account when making recommendations. With that said, we absolutely don’t want you to feel that any of your findings were minimised, and it would be good to give a more detailed response on this after we've located your test results and health plan, as well as to address the contradiction you've mentioned.
Secretory IgA:
Elevated secretory IgA can reflect immune activation within the gut, but it can also be influenced by factors elsewhere in the body. Our practitioners always consider this in their interpretation and recommendations within the health plan, and may suggest following up with 1:1 support if it looks like additional investigation might be helpful.
We assess each test individually, alongside the symptoms someone is experiencing, and tailor both interpretation and recommendations accordingly. We also ask customers to indicate a supplement budget, which helps guide the level of support we recommend.
Once we have your details, we can review the recommendations made in your plan and ensure everything aligns with your needs.

No customer contact & terrible refund policy
Recently returned test kits one year after ordering, after contacting customer service around 3 days after their stated "cooling off period" saying I wouldn't be able to use one of the tests I had ordered so could I return it for a refund, but would keep the other. They offered credit, which was obviously no use to me as the issue was I am on medication and had been seeing a doctor, there had been some changes with my situation. I originally thought I could stop taking medication to do their test.. but then found I couldn't.
I later changed my mind about the other test but didn't know what to do - as you basically order, pay them the high price, and then they just leave you to get on with it. No follow up emails or anything. I thought I would get some contact from one of their clinicians after ordering as they claim personalised service etc but they actually give you nothing after ordering.
I emailed them asking for a refund as I hadn't returned either test, but said I would pay their admin fees and the cost of the kits. I received no reply to this email which is not acceptable. I decided to post the kits back just to make it clear I wasn't going to use them, as I'm on medication. I asked for a full refund. Again I have received no reply, and the package and letter was sent registered post to their address.
Basically if you're dealing with people's health and you claim to be recommended by all of these top media outlets, don't treat people like this. I haven't actually received any service from them so I have paid £500+ for nothing. I understand the situation isn't ideal for them which is why I offered to pay their costs, but it's clear now they are not interested in their clients/customers at all.
I would say don't order from HealthPath because if you have an issue they won't take seriously the price that you paid. They say they are not doctors etc but their customers obviously will be people with health issues. I think they are just playing into the gap created by the NHS's current poor handling of IBS and gut problems.
£500+ is not a reasonable price to pay for absolutely nothing from them.

Regarding your concern about medications, as we explained in our recent email, in most situations we can accept samples from customers taking prescribed medication. Where certain medications may influence a result, we are usually able to take this into account. We would never ask anyone to stop a prescribed medication, and our team is always available to check suitability before or after purchase.
I’m also sorry to hear that you felt unsupported. Our tests are designed to be completed in the comfort of your own home, and we include full instructions within the kit as well as links to our Help Centre in the order confirmation email. We always encourage customers to reach out if they need any guidance, and our Customer Services team are here to help with any questions about taking the test.
We care a great deal about our customers at Healthpath, and the company was founded to make high-quality testing accessible without the need for costly 1-to-1 consultations, which is something we know can save customers hundreds of pounds.
Even though we weren’t able to provide a refund, we have offered alternative options. These options sit outside our standard policy, but we’re always happy to be flexible where we can, and these remain open for you. Overall great experience.
My body and gut was really struggling, and after years of being handed antibiotics for every little thing, I just didn’t want to mess up my gut microbes again. I decided to try HealthPath.

SIBO test kit never received and poor customer service
I have order the SIBO test kit and it has been 10 days now and it hasnt arrived yet. There is no real people for live chat and there is no telephone live chat support. The email support is very slow. It is up to 2 working days.
Got a reply, it is saying that the address entered was incomplete. There is no validation on the address.
There was no feedback or what so ever. All I got was that the kit was sent successfully. Healthpath was just trying to redirect the fault to the customer or the royal mail.
