Avoid this company, they are a scam.. Purchased a ring that was available and in stock, they took my money, several days later i was sent tracking information that it was dispatched and dpd were awaiting the parcel which was absolutely a load of rubbish because a week after my order I get an email saying that the ring was unavailable and my order had been cancelled and it would receive a refund (we'll have to wait and see on that one) in around 10 days... I am beyond angry and disgusted with this company!

Purchased a gold chain for over £1000 for a birthday present, 1 month has passed after multiple phone calls and emails being told there was a change in the way they barcode their products, my product has been lost in the system. DO NOT USE terrible customer service. Promised 20% off as an act of kindness over the phone for the confusion and Is now not giving this to us. AVOID.

Was in getting euros and Angela and carol in duke street were great and very helpful very polite.

I had a bad experience ordering from H&T previously but thought I would try again. Item didn't arrive so I called them and they said it would be sent that day - 12 days later still no item so I called them again and they said it hadn't been sent due to courier not coming/staff not having time to go to the post office. What a joke! I had an email to say it had been dispatched 12 days ago! DO NOT BUY ONLINE YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR ITEM

It took customer service all of 55 days to fully investigate my complaint about my experience in the Swindon branch of H&T, and not even able to get the facts correct as follows:

I DID NOT ORDER THE ITEM ONLINE AS THEY STATED

THEREFORE WAS COMPLETELY UNAWARE OF THE NEED FOR A PASSPORT OR DRIVING LICENCE IN ORDER TO VIEW THE ITEM

THERE WAS ALSO NO MENTION OF THE FACT THAT I ALSO OFFERED TO PAY THE PURCHASE PRICE OF £1,250.00 IN FULL AND IN CASH IN ORDER JUST TO VIEW THE WATCH WHICH WAS TURNED DOWN FLAT BY THE SALES ASSISTANCE

Carol and grace made our experience at the pawn very relaxed and they couldn’t do enough for myself being a bit embarrassed getting a loan on jewellery they reassured me and went through all the details with how it works etc the shop was also very welcoming and they are so lovely I will return in the further! duke street store

Was in the shop today and the customer service from Sara and Nicole in the Hamilton branch was just oustanding, would always return as they are so caring and very happy to deal with you. Great girls!!!

I ordered over $3000 to pay for the ground arrangements on a holiday to Egypt. When I collected them, they shuffled through the counting very quickly and I assumed that they would all be new high-quality notes. Unfortunately, they are scruffy, inked, some have even got holes in them. I have now been told by the holiday company that they will not accept anything other than you notes. H&T refuse to replace them with good quality notes. The manager thought the whole thing was hilarious and had great difficulty not laughing at me and utterly refused to cooperate whatsoever. I do wonder if there’s some nefarious activity going on here trying to pass dud notes and then keeping high-quality ones for themselves, who knows.
