Hi Carole,

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review. We’re really pleased to hear that you were happy with the fast delivery and pricing, we know how important both are when placing an order, so it’s great to know we met your expectations there. We’re sorry to hear that the softness of the towels didn’t feel noticeably different compared to others you’ve purchased. Towel softness can sometimes improve after a couple of washes, especially as the fibres fully open up and any manufacturing finishes are completely removed. That said, we completely understand that comfort is a key factor, and we truly appreciate your honest feedback.

Your comments are very helpful to us as we continually review our products and look for ways to improve. If there’s ever anything we can assist you with, whether it’s care advice or recommendations from our range that may better suit what you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing us, we really value your support.

Hi Harriet,

Thank you so much for your five-star review! We’re absolutely delighted to hear that our towels have become your go-to for that true luxury, hotel-quality feel. That’s exactly what we set out to create, beautifully soft, fluffy Egyptian cotton towels that don’t just feel amasing on day one, but stay that way wash after wash.

It means so much to us that you’ve noticed the absorbency too. We know there’s nothing worse than a towel that looks good but doesn’t actually dry you properly, so hearing that ours deliver on both comfort and performance is the best compliment we could receive. Hi Mrs. Hill,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we really appreciate it. We’re pleased to hear that you were happy with the size of the bath sheets and the quick delivery. We pride ourselves on our products & customer service and the high quality standards we maintain.

Our towels are crafted from high-quality Egyptian cotton and designed to offer long-lasting softness and absorbency, but we know that luxury can feel different from person to person. Sometimes towels also reach their full softness after a couple of washes, as the fibres naturally open up, though of course, they should still feel special from the start. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and we’ll certainly take it on board. We truly hope we’ll have the opportunity to impress you in the future.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that you’re disappointed with your experience.

We’d like to clarify the timeline and our position. Your order was delivered in June 2025, and the concerns were raised more than seven months later. The issues reported after this length of time are assessed as consistent with normal wear and tear rather than an inherent manufacturing fault.

Pilling or bobbling can occur over time depending on factors such as use, washing frequency, detergents, and contact with other fabrics. While we appreciate your comparison with other retailers, wear can vary between households and usage conditions.

After receiving and inspecting the returned items, we were unable to identify a manufacturing defect, which is why a refund could not be offered in line with our returns policy.

We understand this is not the outcome you were hoping for and regret the frustration this has caused. We always aim to be fair, transparent, and consistent in applying our policies, and we’re sorry that this experience has left you feeling let down.

And we couldn’t agree more about the colours! We carefully select our shades to make sure there’s something for every style and bathroom, so it means a lot that you appreciated the variety. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience and for choosing Hampton and Astley.
